Energy Efficiency & Smart Building Technology
- We use a geothermal system to efficiently cool the building in summer and heat in winter.
- Ground source heat pumps work in tandem with the geothermal system to minimize energy consumption.
- All guest rooms, back-of-house areas, and plant rooms are equipped with energy-efficient LED lighting, many with motion sensors.
- Our elevators are A-label energy-efficient, consuming significantly less power than traditional systems.
- Room temperatures are automatically managed by an intelligent BMS (Building Management System) for optimal comfort and minimal energy use.
- Our guest rooms are fitted with triple-glazed windows, providing excellent insulation for both temperature and sound.
- On the roof, a CO2 water pump system supports our warm water supply in an energy-saving manner.
- Each room features double-layered blinds (light-filtering and blackout) to regulate natural sunlight and reduce the need for artificial heating or cooling.
- Guests can charge electric vehicles at our on-site charging stations.

Waste and Circularity
- We separate waste in all areas of the hotel, including glass, plastics, paper, batters, and organics.
- Kitchen food waste is repurposed into biogas and biodiesel, supporting a circular economy.
- All paper used in the hotel is made of 100% recycled content, including office material and printed collateral.
- To minimize paper waste, we have eliminated printed collateral in rooms, all essential information is available digitally through the in-room TV.
- All meeting rooms are free of single-use plastic.
- We do not use plastic straws, offering sustainable alternatives instead.
