Pet Policy
Your furry friends are always welcome at Hyatt Place Allentown / Lehigh Valley. We know your pets are important to you. Bring up to two dogs along when you stay with us at our pet-friendly hotel in Allentown. We allow up to two dogs per room. Owner must provide a cell number as an emergency contact.
Weight Limits
We allow dogs weighing 50 pounds or less, and a maximum of two dogs weighing a combined 75 pounds or less per room during your stay.
Fees
To ensure maximum comfort for all our guests, following the departure of a guest and their pet, there are certain steps we must take to ensure the suite is clean and free from possible allergens. We deep clean carpets, drapes, bedspreads and other linens and then fumigate the space. For this reason, we add a nonrefundable pet-cleaning fee to the account during check-in.
- For stays of 1 to 6 nights, the fee is $100, regardless of the duration ($100 total).
- For stays exceeding 6 nights, there is an additional deep cleaning fee of $100 ($200 total).
- For stays exceeding 30 nights, please contact the hotel.
Fees do not include taxes.
Guidelines for Dog Owners
All dogs must be housebroken. Dogs must be on leashes when in public areas. Pets are not allowed in the food service areas and pool. Your pet must be confined in a carrier if left unattended during the cleaning of your room or you can arrange to be present when your room is serviced.
Minimum Age Policy
The minimum age to reserve a guest room is 21 years old. A person of the minimum age requirement must be present at check-in and become a registered guest in the room.
Credit Card Policy
A valid credit card must be presented at the time of check-in. The card will be authorized for room, tax and an additional $15 per night for incidentals.
DEBIT CARD USERS: There is a $15 PER NIGHT authorization placed on your card at check-in to account for any incidental charges you may incur including but not limited to food and beverage charges. Funds will be held as a ‘pending charge’ and will be unavailable to you. Any unused authorization is released within 7-10 business days after you check out, depending on your banking institution.
Smoking Policy
We appreciate your consideration for other guests and ask that you report any smoking in the building immediately. Designated outdoor smoking areas are available. Please visit the Host Stand for details.
Hyatt is committed to providing a smoke-free environment.
There is no smoking allowed in the public areas of the hotel or the guest rooms.
The hotel will apply a $250 plus tax cleaning fee to any guest room that violates the nonsmoking policy.
