Best Value at the Wharf!
We always enjoy staying at the Hyatt House at the Wharf when we are in DC. It is quiet, clean, and safe. The staff is friendly and helpful. There are so many great restaurants, bars, and attractions right outside the door. If you are seeing a show at the Anthem it is one of the closest and definitely the most affordable place to stay. Such a great value!

Great stay in DC!
Hyatt House in DC is fantastic, right in the midst of restaurants from one to five stars! The room we booked was clean and the sheets/mattress was the best I've ever slept on!

Amazing views and staff
I had the privilege of staying here on a solo trip last week. The one was extremely clean. I had a room on the fifth floor with an amazing view of the water. The staff was extremely friendly and went out of their way to ensure I had a great stay. The breakfast which is complementary was also superb. And the bartender working in the bar was also very nice. Overall, I gave this day a 10 out of 10.

Great location and customer service, adequate accommodations
Stayed in a river view double queen suite. Room was clean and comfortable. It looked a little more "lived in" than expected and you could barely consider it a view. That said, the customer service was excellent and and the location was exactly what we needed. Would stay there again.

Really enjoyed our stay
Great Hotel! Check-in was at 3pm but the room was ready early and receiving text message updates along the way was very convenient! Loved the location and our view from the room!

Very Satisfied!
Lots of nice pubs and eateries in the area - ranging from fine dining to budget-friendly ones. You will also find a wide range of good restaurants if you are okay with a 10/15-mins walk. I loved the location and the vibe. We travelled with two teenage kids and it was a good comfortable stay. Breakfast is really good, with helpful and courteous staff around. We had booked a family room with a capacity of 4 occupants and the sofa bed could be used for two guests. Housekeeping staff gave us extra pillows, sheets, and blankets. However, the sofa bed's middle section appeared to be sunken, causing an uneven surface - it wasn't drastically uncomfortable, it wasn’t perfectly flat, which made it less supportive. The room had a small kitchenette, complete with a fridge, dishwasher, dish washing liquid, stove, utensils, and cutlery. The room was NOT one of those rooms that are said to offer a partial view of the river, but we DID HAVE a partial view of the river. There's a CVS nearby too. Important point - there's no free parking space. You have to pay $65 per night for valet parking (you can take the car out as many times as you want) or $62 if you park yourself (parking charge gets added each time you drive in and out).

Great location
The hotel was located in a great area along the wharf. The front desk staff were great. The elevator broke down briefly during my stay, but occasional mechanical issues are to be expected. Overall, I recommend this hotel.

Washington museum/monument tour vacation
Great hotel and location. There is a neighborhood shuttle to take you to the Metro Station. Local drop is close to the hotel as is the Big Bus drop off/pick up. There is a CVS close by. The hotel is clean, breakfast was good. We ordered a salad in the bar for dinner and it was excellent! Front desk from friendly and helpful. The Wharf area is really fun with a variety or good restaurants. If you want to take a water taxi to Alexandria, VA or Georgetown the dock is right there. Would suggest this hotel/location to others.
