The entrance maybe a little bit tricky since it's accessed from 3rd floor once you leave JR Shibuya station and the lobby is on the 16th floor. You wouldn't be able to find the entrance if you're on the street level ground floor. However, besides that, everything related to the hotel is fabulous. The room is super clean, neat and bright. The washer & dryer in the room is helpful. Slippers and bottles of water are provided. There's microwave, fridge with freezer and kitchen in room too. 7-11 is right downstairs. You can get to the street level easily from 3rd floor and the escalator is right outside of the 3rd floor entrance.

Cannot beat this location, close to JR Shinkansen trains and subway. A restful oasis after long days out. Quiet and peaceful, spacious rooms with laundry and

10/10 will recommend and revisit on future tokyo trips. convenient location, clean rooms, friendly staff, laundry and amenities help so much on a long trip and the pool and gym were well maintained.

Excellent staff, location, transportation and Japan's highlights and historic places. A few minutes walk to the famous Shibuya Crossing.

Great experience in a clean hotel. Extremely spacious and helpful staff. Showed up early at 8am due to an early flight and was still able to check in. Huge shout out to Alish Prajapati for making this stay great. Will definitely be back in the future.

Great everything ! Location, food, personnel, facilities. Perfect stay for someone who wants to experience Shibuya.

The rooms are very large and well appointed with a kitchen and washer/dryer in the room and they are spotlessly clean. The hotel is centrally located and is attached to the Shibuya train station, so it is super convenient to get around Tokyo and there is a 7-Eleven below the hotel for supplies. Overall, a great stay and I would highly recommend it for your Tokyo visit.

I have had the opportunity to stay at almost all of the Hyatt properties in Tokyo, and while each offers a different experience, Hyatt House Tokyo Shibuya continues to be the property I prefer to return to. The location is incredibly convenient, especially for longer stays in Tokyo, and the comfortable rooms and practical amenities make it feel very easy and relaxing to stay here. What really sets this property apart, however, is the consistently excellent service. The team is welcoming, attentive, and always willing to help, and Naobi in particular consistently goes above and beyond to make sure we are well taken care of. That level of personal service makes a real difference. As a World of Hyatt member who stays frequently with Hyatt, I really appreciate a property that combines convenience, comfort, and genuinely thoughtful service. Even with so many excellent Hyatt options in Tokyo, Hyatt House Tokyo Shibuya has become my preferred place to stay and a property I look forward to returning to.

I really enjoyed staying here, I was worried about staying in Shibuya and it being too noisy, but where the hotel is located, it was actually really quiet. I was convenient for the the train and walking distance from a lot of things. I would stay here again when staying in Tokyo, without a doubt! I also enjoyed being able to have water every single day, able to do laundry, and just the overall experience here. The staff were all very kind and friendly as well. I wish I would have used the pool and the gym during out stay, but will definitely plan to next time!

There are times when consistently high ratings warrant scrutiny, if not verification, but it is hoped that this rating will be received as confirmation of the favorable reviews of Hyatt House Tokyo Shibuya! I discovered this hotel after reading a recommendation for those visiting Tokyo for the first time to stay in Shibuya. Photos of the rooms, which were sized to accommodate my family of three, indicated careful design and thoughtful selection of amenities. Upon making the reservation, I looked forward to the lodging accommodation as much as items on the itinerary! Positive experiences compel me to write reviews for the purpose of informing others. (Poor experiences generally do not have the same effect.) Based on my initial stay at Hyatt House Tokyo Shibuya, I would recommend that others consider making reservations for business and/or leisurely travel to Tokyo.

Room wasn't ready after 11hr flight. Checked in at 3p room was ready closer to 345p. This was a horrible start to my trip to have to wait for 45 min wasting time. A free drink ticket didn't cover how bad this was.

the location is the best their is in shibuya, the atmosphere is great,the rooms are big and comfortable to live in, the stuff of the hotel is very professional and kind ,the rooms are clean, the hotel is giving you a great feeling of high quality hospitality, there is a nice pool to relax and enjoy in.

Would recommend anyone to stay here if given the chance. Location was “Prime”. Right next to Shibuya Station and the famous crossing (5-10 min walk). Amenities were amazing. Staff were so accommodating from food recs, organizing cabs, organizing group dinners for large parties and nearby restaurants. Would stay again.

Overall, a spectacular experience, and I feel like I am at home every time I stay there. I am looking forward to going back in the near future. I do hope the breakfast food can be a bit better, but everything else is so wonderful that it makes up for it. The people at the front desk are absolutely wonderful.

This is a staff that has mastered hospitality! We were unexpectedly diverted to Tokyo due to a medical emergency on our flight, and from the moment we walked into the lobby everyone that worked there was actively helping us make the best of our situation. Thank You to everyone that helped turn a stressful situation into a happy detour!

Probably the worst arrival and check in experience as a Hyatt globalist. I will be lifetime globalist next year and am also ambassador at Marriott. It’s a hotel you stay if you want to make your trip unnecessarily difficult. I checked in early because I wanted to be first in line in case of upgrade and front desk said we do not recognize globalist benefits and no upgrades. Too many anti hospitality experiences to list but be careful to ask for bottle of water as the front desk lady will give you a lecture why you should fetch water from the water dispenser instead.

Clean, Laundry machine meant we could pack less stuff, kitchenette meant we could make a quick meal for the kids and then go out to a fancy night out on the town.

Our family had an amazing stay at Hyatt House Tokyo Shibuya, and we would absolutely stay here again on our next trip to Tokyo. The location is unbeatable, right in the heart of Shibuya and less than a 10-minute walk to the famous Shibuya Crossing. The hotel is also conveniently located near Shibuya Station, making it incredibly easy to get around Tokyo. A special thank you to Alish Prajapati, who assisted us during check-in. He was welcoming and friendly. We had booked a King Suite, and as a Hyatt Globalist member, I know Hyatt House properties typically do not offer suite upgrades. We were pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to a Deluxe King Suite, which made our stay even more memorable. Before arriving in Tokyo, we had ordered a pair of glasses in Sapporo and had them shipped to the hotel. Not only did the package arrive safely before we checked in, but the hotel had already placed it in our room for us. It was such a thoughtful touch and greatly appreciated. When we opened the door to our room, we were amazed. It was a corner room on the 14th floor with spectacular views of the Tokyo skyline, we could even see Tokyo Tower! The suite was spacious and perfectly designed for families, with a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, comfortable living room, separate bedroom, and even a washer/dryer in the bathroom. Everything was spotless, and the housekeeping team did an outstanding job keeping the room impeccably clean every day. We also enjoyed breakfast at the hotel every morning. Everyone working in the breakfast area was warm, friendly, and welcoming. After spending three weeks in Hokkaido enjoying traditional Japanese breakfasts, my husband and kids really appreciated having a delicious Western-style breakfast with some Japanese options as well. It was a wonderful variety and a great way to start each day. Overall, Hyatt House Tokyo Shibuya exceeded our expectations in every way. Between the exceptional service, spacious and comfortable rooms, fantastic breakfast, and unbeatable location, it was the perfect home base for exploring Tokyo. We highly recommend this hotel and will definitely choose Hyatt House Tokyo Shibuya again on our next visit.

Spacious, clean and great service. The location is central, but that area in itself is pretty confusing in Shibuya. It took us several days to learn and navigate. Having said that, I would happily stay again. The extra sink outside of the bathroom was helpful to brush and wash up while someone showered. The microwave and fridge it easy to heat up any food. I only wish there was a separate shower and toilet room so no one had to wait if the other was being used. It was great having a separate bed for each person (two twins and one child on the sofa bed, which was already made before we arrived!) Thank you for making my first stay in Japan so comfortable.

Nice new hotel in a great location. Rooms are very functional. Staff was EXTREMELY responsive from initial check-in room had a foul smell. Breakfast was OK at best, 3rd hotel on our Japan trip and easily the worst breakfast offered. I would book again based on location and an excellent and responsive front desk Manager!
