Amazing breakfast and staff clean rooms! So many things to do near by and the train is at walking distance
Clean rooms! Helpful staff! Fausta makes the best breakfast and is always there with a smile! The receptionists were so helpful and friendly! The cleaning ladies go above and beyond to clean!

Good place to stay
I was there for a conference. The room was clean and the breakfast was great! It was about 10-12 min walk to the Salt Palace Convention Center.

Regret my money a bit
Just very outdated and room wasn’t that clean and things weren’t fully working like the TV and plugs. Sadly because location is good, room size great. Bed were just old and the room simply needed love and update

SLC for the weekend
Staff was fast and friendly. Easily made modifications to the reservation when I needed to extend an additional day. Parking was easy and safe, the hotel room and common areas were clean.

Amazing customer service. Above and beyond expectations! Answer all of my tourists questions-places to go, transit ect. I Also had special requests about my reservation. They handled it easily.

Easy location, decent rooms, terrible breakfast. Staff was nice and parking was right on sight. Quick trip from the Airport.

Family Fun
Everything was so clean. The food was beyond my expectation. We loved the pool area. The only thing that needed improvement was the hot tub because the actual jets did not work.

Worse than expected.
Compared to our expectations before arriving, our stay was worse than expected. The biggest issue was the internet service. Connecting our devices was an ordeal. None of our devices could connect properly, and we ultimately had to rely on remote technical support from Wisconsin just to get them online. This consumed a significant amount of time and caused unnecessary frustration. Even after getting connected, the internet speed was extremely poor. I had planned to work remotely while my family explored Salt Lake City, but the connection was so slow and unreliable that I was unable to work effectively. As someone who frequently travels for business, this was one of the most disappointing aspects of our stay. Housekeeping also fell well below expectations. The room was not cleaned to the standard we expected from a Hyatt property, and basic supplies were inadequate. We were a family of four, yet housekeeping regularly left only one or two rolls of toilet paper, forcing us to repeatedly request additional supplies. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience. Unfortunately, our stay at this hotel left such a negative impression that it affected our perception of our visit to Utah as a whole. We left with the feeling that we would not return, largely because of how poor our experience was at this property.

Good location
Located in a great area with nearby dining. The hotel and rooms were modern and clean. Staff was great. Would come stay her again.

Perfect for a short or extended stay!
M husband and I spent one night at the tail end of a trip and the Hyatt House was above our expectations. The hotel is very clean, conveniently situated in downtown with access to lightrail that circles the downtown area and also takes you to airport in under 30 minutes for $2.50! We enjoyed the variety at breakfast, but weren't really able to use pool because it was slightly dingy compared to rest of hotel. Served our purposes for the extra night we needed in Salt Lake City prior to our flight home, but we enjoyed the proximity to the malls, and surrounding downtown attractions, two outdoor shopping malls (City Creek Center and the Gateway), restaurants and public transportation. The staff was incredibly nice and welcoming. Beds and pillows were clean and comfortable, we appreciated the suite amenities like the kitchenette and mini island table, would have been perfect for a longer stay. We loved it!

disgusting pool and spa
The outdoor pool and spa were disgusting. The spa was covered in algae and had what appeared to be a piece of poop at the bottom of it. The pool also had algae and bugs floating around. When I went to scoop out the bugs I discovered there was a roach in the pool. I complained to the front desk and asked to speak to the manager. Despite being on site the manager Rachael refused to come speak with me. The front desk left her messages and emailed her, I emailed her, and every-time I went to the desk to ask to speak with her in person, they told me she would get back with me but she never did. I even complained to corporate and have yet to hear back from her. I will never stay here or at a Hyatt again.

Not worth it, wished I had stayed elsewhere
The price is decent and there are positives (nice staff, great housekeepers, solid breakfast) but I hated my week in this hotel. The WiFi was terrible and frequently unable to connect. No streaming capabilities on in room TVs (it’s 2026…nobody wants basic cable in an extended stay style hotel). Pool and hot tub were downright nasty, with stuff floating in the water and surfaces that badly need to be cleaned. Minimal closet and dresser space despite the idea that you’re in a suite.

Salt Lake City vacation
Hotel was reasonably priced and offered good value for cost. Downtime location is very convenient to restaurants, shops and highway.

First time in SLC
The convenience of downtown and the airport being a 10 minute drive away is just perfect. The rooms are perfectly sized, and the staff are friendly and helpful!

Great place to stay close to downtown.
This hotel was close to everything. It was a 5min walk to the TRAX, walking distance to downtown, and very close to the airport (less than 25min by TRAX). The rooms were very nice and clean. The staff was great and so helpful. We would absolutely stay here again.

Hyatt House SLC, has a beautiful view of the Rocky Mountains
As usual, Hyatt never disappoints. This is my first time at Hyatt house in Salt Lake City, Utah. The location is perfect. It’s walking distance to everything. And if you want to head to the mountains, it’s not a long drive at all. I got a room on a high floor with a beautiful view of the Rocky Mountains! I would definitely stay here again.
