Family vacation
Excellent place to stay to visit universal studios. They had a shuttle to take us to and from the park. Large spacious rooms.

Nice family stay at newly renovated hotel
Staff was very nice and friendly. Liked that luggage could be stored prior to check-in as that allowed more time at Universal. Room was newly renovated, which I learned at checkout. Beds, TVs, and bathroom were above what I expected. Kitchen was nice and functional with pots/pans, silverware, toasters etc.

Not the standard for a usual Hyatt
Unfortunately there was a smell in the room, the toilet bowl had major condensation and mold in the toilet. The room wasn’t cleaned properly and the room next to me had screaming kids. Booking under a business code should be noticed by hotel to avoid putting business people next to rooms such as this.

Great Stay!
Great experience! Friendly staff, room was spacious and well accommodated, the location is literally right across the street from the Universal entrance, and the free (full) breakfast was perfect. I would definitely return and recommend this hotel to others.

Great place to stay
We had a great stay here with our family! The location is perfect if you’re visiting the Universal parks. The staff was very friendly and helpful, making sure we had all the information we needed for our stay. The entire hotel, including our room, was clean and well-maintained, and the beds were comfortable. The kids absolutely loved the pool area, and the breakfast was great! Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would definitely consider staying here again on our next trip to Orlando.

Overall Wonderful Experience
I took my teenage boys to Universal Studios for a weekend getaway. We stayed 3 nights at this hotel and had a wonderful experience. I was upgraded to a suite due to my Hyatt status, received 2 free bottles of water every day, free daily breakfast, free shuttle to Universal Studios and Epic Universe, and the vacation planning desk in the lobby of the hotel printed our park tickets we purchased online so we didn't have to wait in line at the gate.

Moldy Blankets
Everything seemed fine until me and my family went to go to sleep. When one of my family members was getting in bed they noticed something wrong with the blanket. We held it up to the light and you can see the stuffing in the comforter is MOLDY. We checked the other comforter and same exact thing. I went downstairs to complain and got told they will inform the manager and gave me two new blankets(or so I thought). Went back upstairs and decided just to check the two “new” comforters and those two were moldy. We sleep with just bed sheets but we’re all disgusted that all four comforters were moldy.

Friendly staff and good breakfast
Location was perfect for a visit to Universal, rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good, staff was friendly and helpful. Not just this hotel, but paying to park when you are a guest is a little irking but other hotels in the area do the same so it seems it is the norm at this point. My 12 year old said it was the nicest hotel he’s stayed, so a ringing endorsement from him!

Not just a great hotel -- an AMAZING STAFF to make your experience a total "wow!"
Truly ACCESSIBLE room and bathroom! Finally! The room was not only clean and perfectly laid out for my daughter to navigate in her wheelchair, but the bathroom with roll-in shower was actually accessible. Often we encounter rooms that say that they are accessible but then the furniture is placed so that there is not enough space between the bed or couch and the wall for a wheelchair to actually pass. Not the case here. We could definitely get into the bathroom and shower and move around easily. The beds/pillows (as always) were perfect for an amazing night of sleep. The kitchen is perfect -- even stocked with toaster, cutting board, stove top, small fridge so that we can fix our own meal when desired. The gym is great (although you may want to bring your own yoga mat and bands if you do any floor exercises). Pool is wonderful and they apparently even keep their lift in working order. What really sets this Hyatt House apart is the amazing team. They are beyond welcoming! The afternoon check-in team are all soooooo friendly and helpful. Nina, the manager, always takes time to say hello. They are doing some renovations too so can't wait to see what they could possibly make better! We have lots of choices for our monthly trip to Orlando and it's not the closest hotel to our destination, but this Hyatt is always our choice! You will NOT be disappointed!

if only no parking fee
I've stayed at this hotel multiple times and I have enjoyed it each and every time. This time there was an additional parking fee, which I find ridiculous. No parking fee I would've read it five stars.

Universal vacation
The rooms were very spacious and clean and very quiet . Couldn’t here anything around you.loved the shuttles to the theme parks were very convenient.breakfast was great lots of options

Fantastic Stay!
The hotel exceeded my expectations. The two bed queen suite with kitchen was very clean & spacious. The room was like a huge apartment. It had everything you need, pots, pans, silverware & dishes. I would certainly recommend staying here. Very accessible to theme park & local stores.

Great value stay
Excellent value for money, great location and good shuttle service to City Walk. Hotel is in good condition and works well for short stays.

Front desk to the rescue.
The front desk staff went above and beyond to assist my young daughter, and replace her hairbrush after it went missing.

Less than desirable stay
Room cleaning policy was ridiculous with a family staying there for 5 days. Then they wouldn't even show up until 4pm or later when we are back in the room. So they couldn't come in. Our room ended up being disgusting. The room cleaning every 4 days when you stay 5 is horrendous. TV and guide situation was a abysmal. Guide didn't work so you had no idea what was on. Breakfast was horrible. Always out of everything every day. Not very good either.

Fantastic Stay — Great Breakfast and Convenient Universal Shuttle!
We had a fantastic stay at Hyatt House Orlando and would absolutely stay here again. The hotel was clean, comfortable, well maintained, and the staff made us feel very welcome throughout our visit. One of the highlights was the complimentary breakfast. We've stayed at plenty of hotels that include breakfast, and this one was truly top-notch. There was a great selection, everything was fresh and well stocked, and it was a perfect way to start the day before heading out to the parks. We also really appreciated that the hotel arranged shuttle service to Universal Orlando. That was a very convenient perk and made getting to and from the parks much easier without having to worry about driving and parking. The location worked extremely well for a Universal vacation, and after a long day at the parks, it was nice coming back to a comfortable and relaxing hotel. Between the accommodations, excellent breakfast, convenient transportation, and overall value, Hyatt House exceeded our expectations. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone visiting the Orlando/Universal area. We will definitely keep Hyatt House at the top of our list for our next trip to Orlando.

Lovely hotel in a great location
Just got back from a 1 night stay at this hotel after staying at one of the Universal ones for a few days. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending this hotel to people, the staff (in particular Bryan who helped us with finding some of the missing quarters we were collecting) were super helpful, the location is great for a short walk into City Walk as well as to the nearby shopping outlets too. The pool was also a big hit with my kids after a hot day. Oh and the room had plenty of space for the 5 of us with a lovely view too! I would highly recommend this hotel for anybody looking for a good place to stay near Universal Studios.

Slightly dissapointed this time around.
Received late check-in. Hardly any urgency in making sure it was ready in time prior to sitting in lobby for hour and a half. Front desk and bartender seemed more interested in hanging out than constantly holding a professional manner. Room was clean but air filter was extremely dirty which is a huge red flag for me. TV guide also didn't work so I had to search channel by channel. Atmosphere was good, No issues with any noise levels, Location also great for going to Universal.
