Don't stay here
This hotel seems pretty new, but don't let that deceive you. The elevator was broken. They had no rooms below the 3rd floor when I checked in. I had just had a cortisone shot in my knee 2 days prior, so carrying my luggage to the 3rd floor was not something I should have been doing. The desk clerk offered to bring it up for me later, but after hearing another desk come down from his room and describe how someone else had been checked into his room, left their stuff in there, and had apparently gone through his things, I was not about to trust this staff with my luggage. The coffee cups in the cabinet had not been cleaned. The toilet seat was broken. And for this wonderful experience, they were charging over $350/night since it was a game day weekend!

Hyatt House Bryan/ College Station
The Staff, Service and Property were Fantastic!!! The guestroom was nicely appointed with great amenities including the kitchenette.
Good stay.
Everyone was polite and housekeeping was on point. I was pleased. It was a weird smell when the ac would run. It smelt like fertilizer.

Thanks for sharing your experience with us. We're sorry about the A/C odor you mentioned and we will have our team look into it.
No hot water
Room had non functioning hot water and the front desk agent wasn’t empowered to solve it although she tried. She gave me contact info for the manager whose phone rang once then stopped and who never responded to my email.

Do not stay at this hotel
We planned the trip online first & decided on this location based on the name as well as points we had available. We had requested early check in which emails had indicated would be no concern. We arrived an hour early to discover we could not check in early. We were arriving for a funeral & my husband has alzheimer's & dimentia. Not being able to check in early upset him more than he was already having lost his very young nephew to suicide. The girl at the desk asked us to wait in the lobby while the room was cleaned. Within a few minutes we were told the room was ready. We went to the room. It was clear right away this room had not been used in some time. It smelled musty. We attempted to adjust the air in the room since it was extremely cold. The air did not seem to adjust at all. Later when the air did adjust down when it turned off the room smelled musty immediately. It then became necessary to keep the air on all the time to keep the smell out of the room. This forced us to wear sweatshirts to bed to keep from freezing. Mind you it was 93 degrees with feels like temps in the 100 degree range in College Station, TX during our visit. When we checked in there were no towels in our room. We caught the house keeping person in the hall & she gave us more towels. We also discovered there was no tv remote. The house keeper asked us to let the front desk know. I mentioned my husband's condition earlier. One of the only ways to calm him down is to let him watch tv. This was impossible without a remote. I went downstairs to explain this to the same lady that checked us into our room. She said please go back to your room & I will send some one right up with a remote. An hour later we still had no remote. By this time my husband was very upset which in turn was upsetting me. I returned downstairs to ask where was the remote. The same lady said, you mean no one brought you a remote? I said why would I return if we had a remote? She looks at another girl also working the counter as if to say what do I do. She attempts to call a manager. I said what about another room my husband is very upset & this is not working. She says we have no more available rooms in your price range. The other girl behind the counter tells her do you know where the remotes are stored? I can show you? The first girl then huffs & walks away. She returns a couple minutes later with a remote. While the first girl was gone the 2nd girl asked me if I would prefer to switch rooms anyway. I appreciated her efforts but told her as long as someone found a remote we would stay in the room. The first girl finally found a remote & I returned to the room. Later we found out there was mildew in the shower from there not being an exhaust fan in the shower area. The wallpaper was peeling away from the wall probably from moisture in the room. The entire room needed a facelift. The entire hotel for that matter needed a facelift. There were stains on the carpet in the hallway & everything felt tired. The elevator was as hot as the temperature outside & lurched every time it stopped. The breakfast was nice & hot if not extravagant. The bar area was clean and serviceable. I expected more from the name Hilton. When family members asked where we stayed and we said in a Hilton they all said the same thing. Oh, bet you slept well. Unfortunately, we had to say not so much. We even used points to have an unsatisfactory stay. You live & learn. We have learned never to stay at this particular Hilton ever again.

Dear Melissa, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. First and foremost, please accept our sincere condolences for the loss of your nephew. We also understand that traveling during such a difficult time while caring for a loved one with Alzheimer's and dementia can make any unexpected inconvenience even more stressful. We are truly sorry that your stay did not meet your expectations. While we were pleased we were ultimately able to have your room available shortly after your early arrival, we regret that the initial delay added to an already emotional day. We also apologize for the inconvenience of the television remote. Waiting for a promised item, particularly when it was important to help your husband feel comfortable, is not the level of service we strive to provide. Your comments regarding the condition of the guest room, including the odor, bathroom condition, wallpaper, and the overall appearance of the hotel, have been shared with our management and engineering teams for review. Guest feedback like yours is valuable in helping us identify areas where improvements are needed. We are grateful you recognized the efforts of the second front desk associate who worked to assist you, and we will also address the service concerns you experienced to ensure better communication and follow-through with our team in the future. Although we're disappointed that your visit left you with a negative impression, we appreciate you bringing these concerns to our attention. We sincerely regret that we did not provide the comfortable and relaxing experience you expected, especially during such a difficult time for your family. Thank you again for your feedback, and we wish you and your family peace and comfort in the days ahead. Sincerely, Tim Pritchett General Manager

Great staff but rooms needs improvements
Staff and breakfast was great. Major issues with this hotel was with the rooms. First we got a room on the 4th floor, and it had water damage marks on the ceiling, and the room didn’t have the amenities from the hotel website pictures such as microwave and mini fridge. I paid to move to a suite on the 3rd floor, and saw similar signs of water damage on the corner of the walls. AC super noisy, and blows directly on the bed. Carpet uneven

Poor Management
John the Manager was very unprofessional. Did not help me with my stay being charged twice. He ignored the issue. I was very disappointed.

Home away from Home
I would absolutely stay at this location again - simply because it was clean and the location is great related to our needs in the BCS area. The proximity to main roads, our family's home, and restaurants make it a great pick. Our room was clean and had all of the amenities of home - and while we had a few issues with towels/shower leaking it was a great stay.

Highly Recommend
I stay at Hyatt House Bryan/College Station regularly for business travel, and I can confidently say this property consistently delivers an outstanding experience. The location is excellent—conveniently within walking distance of Target and Shipley Donuts, which makes extended stays even more comfortable. What truly sets this hotel apart is the staff. Every team member is a 10 out of 10, but Courtney deserves special recognition. She is friendly, helpful, and always present—truly my saving grace during my stays. The rooms are consistently clean and well-maintained. The beds are very comfortable, the water is always hot with great pressure, and everything feels thoughtfully prepared for guests. Breakfast is another highlight. It is always well-stocked, the area is clean and attended to, and the food is genuinely good. The cook is especially kind and always checks in to see if guests need anything, which adds a personal touch you don’t often find. It is surprisingly rare to find a hotel that delivers this level of consistency, but Hyatt House Bryan does exactly that. I have been staying here at least once a month since 2023, and even after trying other hotels in the area, none compare. Highly recommend for both short and extended stays.

Good but eh
It was nice. There was a vape in my room though. Which wasn’t the greatest. I don’t know how the cleaning people missed that.
Jennifer Reyes, General Manager at Hyatt House Bryan / College Station, responded to this review
Thank you for sharing your feedback. I’m glad to hear your stay was generally nice, though finding a vape in the room is absolutely not the experience we want for any guest.
