Pet Policy

We want your visit to Charlotte, North Carolina, to be as comfortable as possible, so Hyatt House Charlotte / Rea Farms is happy to welcome both you and your furry friends. Whether you’re here for a weekend or an extended stay, our pet-friendly hotel rooms and suites ensure you and your pets are at ease.

 Weight Limits

We allow dogs weighing 50 pounds or less or two dogs weighing a combined 75 pounds or less per room during your stay.

Fees

For guests staying up to six nights, there is a $75 nonrefundable pet fee. For stays of 7–30 nights, there is a $75 nonrefundable pet fee, plus a $100 cleaning fee. Fees do not include taxes.

To ensure maximum comfort for all our guests, following the departure of a guest and their pet, there are certain steps we must take to ensure the suite is clean and free from possible allergens. We deep-clean carpets, drapes, bedspreads and other linens; we also fumigate the suite. For this reason, we add the nonrefundable pet/cleaning fee to the account during check-in.

Guidelines for Dog Owners

All dogs must be housebroken. Dogs must be on leashes when in public areas. Pets are not allowed in the food service areas or the pool. Your pet must be confined in a carrier if left unattended during the cleaning of your room, or you can arrange to be present when your room is serviced.

Minimum Age Policy

Guests must be 21 years of age to rent a room.
