Hyatt Paris Madeleine is in the perfect location, close to Place Vendôme and the beautiful Madeleine area. Our room was amazing, with a beautiful Eiffel Tower view, exceptionally clean and always smelling like a lovely French perfumery. The wonderful service, warm hospitality and perfect location made our Paris stay truly unforgettable. We would happily return again.

The Hyatt Paris Madeleine is lovely. One of the cleanest hotels I have visited - I was incredibly impressed with the housekeeping staff. Upon arrival the manager took time to point out special items in the hotel to my young daughter, which was much appreciated. In general, all of the staff were very kind and accommodating. The location is also very nice The one serious downside to this hotel is the breakfast. It is absurdly expensive - do NOT bother with the continental it is sheer robbery. Unless breakfast is included in your rate (and triple check on this because their website is misleading on this point) I would not bother dining in their breakfast restaurant.

The hardware and amenities do not match a 5-star price point and definitely not a Hyatt Category 7 qualification: The shower door was not waterproof, causing the entire bathroom to flood after a short shower- an appalling failure at any price point, making me feel like I was staying in a budget motel! Despite being a Globalist with explicit preferences for a high floor away from elevators, I was "upgraded" to a first-floor room right next to the lift. The room was uncomfortably hot at night, and opening the window immediately brought in heavy cigarette smoke from a street-side cafe terrace, which is unbearable for a non-smoker. While upper floors might be better, this room actually fell well below any acceptable Hyatt standard.

This is certainly not the experience we want our guests to have, and your comments will be reviewed carefully with our Engineering team. I also regret that the room assigned to you did not correspond with your preferences as a World of Hyatt Globalist. As outlined in the World of Hyatt program, room upgrades are subject to availability at the time of arrival. We always do our best to accommodate our guests’ preferences; however, when the hotel is operating at full occupancy, our ability to offer a specific floor, location, or room category can unfortunately be limited. I would also like to provide some context regarding the character of our building. The Hyatt Paris Madeleine is housed in an authentic Haussmannian property dating from 1845. One of the distinctive features of this architecture is that the lower floors were historically the most prestigious, with particularly large windows and high ceilings creating an enhanced sense of space and volume. As was typical in 19th-century Paris, ceiling heights gradually decrease on the upper floors, reflecting an era when buildings did not yet have elevators and the most desirable residences were located closer to street level. These architectural details are an integral part of the Parisian heritage and character of our hotel. Beautiful hotel; friendly staff and overall, a great experience. Hotel is a 8-10 minute walk from the Metro and from Gare St Lazare, making it a fairly convenient location.

In approximately 15 minutes, you can reach the renowned Galeries Lafayette and Printemps department stores, as well as the prestigious boutiques along Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré. A short stroll also takes you to Place de la Concorde, from where you can continue through the beautiful Jardin des Tuileries to the Louvre, or walk along the Champs-Élysées towards the Arc de Triomphe. We really enjoyed our stay at the Hyatt Paris Madeleine. The hotel was in a safe, beautiful area and walkable to many restaurants and landmarks. The breakfast was excellent and made this a terrific choice for a globalist stay. Our rooms were upgraded without us needing to even ask, which was a nice touch, and we were also offered late check out. The staff were all very friendly, welcoming, and attentive, and we received several good recommendations for things to do. Would love to come back here again someday!

We had a lovely stay at the Hyatt Paris Madeleine! It is a smaller boutique hotel in a very nice quieter neighborhood. As Globalists, we were very happy with our room upgrade and welcome treats. The staff was very kind. Breakfast was delicious. Great experience!

Beautiful Paris hotel centrally located. Short rides to the Louvre and Eiffel Tower. It's in a very nice neighborhood with shops and dining close by. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel is beautiful inside and out!

Outstanding hotel, staff and experience. Very conveniently located. Walking distance to Galleries Lafayette. We traveled with girls 10 and 11y/o and they were fascinated. Breakfast is out of this world, even kids didn’t complain.
