Hyatt Centric is clean, quiet, & accessible. My whole family enjoyed our short stay there. We stayed in the suite with a dedicated bedroom, it was small but had everything we needed. The beds and couches were comfortable and clean and the shower was heavenly. Will visit again.

Great hotel!

Just clean, super helpful, and the location is perfect. We traveled with four kids & two adults, ideal location for the Great America amusement park & the pool afterwards. Definitely will consider going back and staying again. 

We loved it.

Beautiful hotel for work or leisure, perfect located near shopping centers and movie theatre. Rooms are great and you can get anywhere in the bay from this location as it is near Hwy 101. The hotel is nestled in a quiet corridor. Parking is easy and safe. 

Hyatt Centric Silicone Valleyu

Stayed 3 nights, room easily accommodated family of 5. High spec room. We had an excellent rate. Staff were 1st rate ,friendly ,dealt with extension to stay with ease. Food pricy for us,lots of local eat out options. Easy access to SJC airport

Excellent base for exploring San Jose

The hotel lobby was very nice and I noticed the bookshelf to my left full of books as soon as I walked in. They allowed me to check in a few hours early and when I had to leave a few days later, they extended my check out to 1 PM (My flight was not until nearly 3 PM). The room was clean and quiet, which I enjoyed very much, but the shower was amazing. On my last day there I took an hour long shower to relax and prepare myself for my 4 hour flight. 

The staff was very nice and helpful and the hotel restaurant staff was even better. I enjoyed my breakfast, which was also priced very reasonably compared to the rest of the area. I did not get to go swimming because I was constantly working, but it is a nice area to sit outside if you want to. I enjoyed this hotel and will be using it again when I have to go back to the area in a few months. I will even ask for the same room. Also, if you get cold at night, there is a drawer filled with extra blankets. Oh and did I mention how wonderful the shower was? 

This was a great place to lay my head when in SV.

While the hotel isn’t the closest to the convention center, it’s close enough.  The location is great and has several restaurants and a Whole Foods within a mile.  The hotel is updated and very clean.  The staff is really friendly and helpful.  We came with a soccer team and the staff was very accommodating and helped us have the whole team stay on the same floor.  They also helped to provide a space to feed an entire team dinner on the patio (which had heaters that worked extremely well in 50 degree weather).  I would definitely stay again!

Highly Recommend

Staying in town since I WFH and my apartment was without power for a couple days due to the recent bad weather. Hotels filled up fast and I was lucky to book this one for us. The WiFi was excellent and fast, beds very comfortable, breakfast delicious. Staff was on the ball and we felt welcome.

Worth a stay they are doing a great job

The hotel is in great condition and very close to great america theme park as well as SJC airport. The room is spacious and the living room has nice sofa bed for our kids. Overall a very relaxing stay.

Great condition

This hotel is right next to highway 101, so traffic noise never ends. It was hard to sleep at nights. I Asked to be relocated to a different room twice and the noise was the same no matter what. Cleaning less of the hotel is spot on.

Too Close to highway 101

I will be staying again soon!  This was an excellent stay and rooms and hotel are super comfortable. Only thing I would change is the heating system was too loud and sporadic. 
Great feel for a hotel!  Like being at home. 

Awesome hotel! Very resort feeling and excellent property!

The pool was not heated even when requested, bathroom does not have any sink to wash the hands. Bathroom door consisted of two small halves with no lock. No breakfast. Window in the room was damaged and had just one glass instead of 2. The air conditioner was so noisy I could not sleep.  

Just ok

Good, clean, everyone was nice. Nice to have the market to get water. Would stay here again. Breakfast was nasty, was told it was a set down meal. It was $40 down the drown. Would not recommend it at all.

The facility was very nice. The food selection for breakfast was diverse. The wait staff was cordial. The room was more luxurious than expected. The floorplan was very conducive to working, lounging, and privacy for sleeping. The only addition that might be considered is a microwave. 

Hyatt Centric

Amazing room, very clean and new. Beautiful lobby with great artwork. I’d recommend this as not only family friendly but more upscale than most places you will go. Gym was great, and front desk staff friendlier than anywhere else in Northern California. 

Beautiful facility

This is a well kept property, with nice amenities, but too close to the freeway for me.  It was quite noisy at night which made sleep difficult.  If you want a good nights sleep without traffic noise, I would suggest staying at another property that is a block or two further from the interstate.  There are several others in the area.

Nice hotel, but noisy due to the freeway

This location was great.  We were there for a 49er's game and it was perfect.  The room was very nice and very clean.  Breakfast was good and the wait staff was terrific.  I would highly recommend this property, we had three rooms with three couples and we all enjoyed our stay very much.  The only downfall was the hotel lobby bar closed a little early and when we returned there was no nightcap available.

breakfast not varied enough and also not complimentary (on some days it is buffet and others it is a la carte which takes a lot of time and is even more expensive).

We are Hyatt Brand Explorers and we were very disappointed with our recent stay! The elevators were broken, they refused to give us creamer for our in room coffee maker and housekeeping was missing! Definitely not the Hyatt we are use to staying with! Very disappointing 😞

Disappointing

Very nice, clean beautiful room and great rate. Nice service when arrived, nice bar too. We had a few small things like our shower door wouldn't stay closed and no "do not disturb sign" to hang on door so someone opened our door pretty early and yelled hello! Sacred us out of our sleep but not a big deal. Kinda funny. Small stuff. We'd stay again no problem. 

Very clean and beautiful rooms

Very clean, short walk to Levi’s stadium, staff was very friendly and helpful. Will stay there again. Went for the Chiefs vs 49ers, took an Uber to the stadium but walked back. Only negative was no bartender on the morning for game day and we wanted bloody Maria’s. So not a need but a want. Room was very clean.

Great place to stay

Absolutely wonderful.  Clean and modern rooms.  Staff extremely friendly and helpful.  Food was good and the bar served the best Lemon drop drink I ever had.  I would certainly stay there again and would certainly recommend this hotel to my friends and family.

Elton John concert

excellent staff for providing early checking-in need and always smile in assisting us.  My wife had a small burn by hot water in the room, front desk staff talked to Chef in the kitchen and provided vegetable oils for soothing the pain which is the regular practice in the kitchen with small oil burns.  This extra effort made us feel stay at home.   

Excellent staff willing for extra miles

Overall a bad stay. Hotel was not cleaning rooms, and even after asking multiple times they did not chance out my room once. Staff was aloof and not helpful. I stay at a lot of Hyatts  and was surprised.

Terrible experience

The hotel from reception to room was clean , comfortable and friendly. The staff were attentive and dealt with any requests immediately. The rooms were comfortable, clean and well decorated. A big thank you 

Recommended Hotel

My experience at Hyatt Centric was excellent. We booked an overnight stay for an event at Levi stadium. I was able to check in via email the night before and received a notification of when my room was ready for check in which was great. Staff was friendly and helpful to needs. We stayed on the second floor facing the front of the building and it was super quiet!! Room was clean and comfortable, AC was a bit loud and tricky to get to a comfortable setting but it was no big deal. My only small inconveniences was the room remote said we could watch from our streaming accounts but there was no option on the TV to do so and also wish there were more beverage options to purchase in lobby (Choices being pepsi or mountain dew or water) Parking was $20, no issues. Overall I would stay again if I was in the area.  

Overnight stay

This hotel is perfect for any celebrations or if you’re attending any events held at the Levi’s stadium! After we checked in we went outside to see the pool and ordered food / drinks. Service was fast and Jesus who was the bartender greeted us and welcomed us- kept checking on us if we needed anything else! This hotel is very nice, the rooms are very clean and spacious! Definitely will be coming back! 

Amazing stay for concerts and any special events!

Overall experience was great.  Good customer service all around (front desk to bar).  Viewed meeting rooms for possible meeting in the future.  Pool was clean, property overall in good condition.  Easy parking.

Great Experience

they overcharge my credit card and I´ve paid the bill twice . E,mail them front  desk three times and they don´t have the courtesy of answering my emails . I´ll never ever satay in that hotel again.
Front desk service does not exist , they don´t care about the passenger and do not answer to the claims at all ... my worst experience ever ... I recommend to all my contacts to not stay there

trip

This is a beautiful hotel in a great location.  We were very happy with how new the hotel is and all the modern amenities the lobby is Beautiful and the staff was very very nice.  check in was fast and they were very accommodating.  The Bar Tender/Waitress was very nice.  We wanted to eat at the restaurant for dinner, but the menu was not really kid friendly and when we told the waitress that we would have to leave and go eat somewhere with more kid items. she was kind enough to give us some other options nearby.

Large beautiful Room

A/C was out and didn’t sleep all night. Front desk didn’t move us, bring fans, or provide any discount. Disappointing, to say the least. Had to leave the windows and blinds open otherwise we would have roasted. Could hear the freeway easily.

A/C didn’t work and no accommodation

Attended concert at Levi stadium with friends from high school. Haven’t seen them in 30 years. Last concert was the Red Hot Chili Peppers and it was a reunion.  Great hotel for our gathering. We will return soon.  

Perfection.

We booked a 2 queen room on the website but once we got to the room it was 2 double beds. This would not work because there was 5 of us and putting 2 adults in a double bed is not ideal or comfortable. I called the front desk and they explained there's nothing they could do as the part of the hotel that has the 2 queen beds was under renovation.  I explained my family situation above and was only told "You can try calling back after 8pm when a supervisor gets here and they might wave your $25 parking fee for the night." I asked why would the website let people book rooms that were unavailable due to renovation and the representative just said "I don't know". At this point with it being 7pm, and is being in the Great America theme park all day we were tired and I didn't have the patience to call around to other hotels asking if they have 2 queen rooms and probably having to pay a lot more.  I just accepted the fact we won't be using Hyatt anymore and we used sofa cushions for a makeshift bed on the ground for one of our family members to sleep.  Book at your own risk.

You may not get what you booked

The check in and out process was very easy, I liked how I was able to check out on my phone and was notified when my room was ready. The hotel seemed very new and was clean. The queen size beds were more full size which was the only inconvenience. The bed were also uncomfortable. I did enjoy the living space area which was spacious. 

Nice quiet and clean

We stayed from Friday- Sunday, July 15-17 as a staycation and to swim in a pool since we live in Daly City, where it is normally cool weather. We stayed in the pool for about 2 hours. After the pool, we all showered and find out that my husband, son and daughter have chemical burns from too much chlorine in the pool. Informed the hotel front desk the next morning and it was recorded on file. My poor 3 year old son cried as he got a bath and could not understand why. His chemical burns on his inner thighs are still red and present. My daughters chemical burn is on her chin; her float or was rubbing on her chin as she was swimming in the pool. My husbands scrotum is raw, painful, red and still present. After checking out, the staff “waived our parking fee.” There was no manager present but was given their email address. Another family also have chemical burns and their room was complimentary. We needed to buy things to treat the wounds. For the severity of this situation, the manager should contact us.

Saw some reviews that says they did not receive globalist benefits during their stay. For my stay, I got upgraded to a suite prior to check in. Daily bottled water and complimentary breakfast were offered to me too. I’d love to come back again.

Received Globalist benefits

I did not have any prior knowledge of Hyatt hotels. It was my first stay at this location and experience with Hyatt. The best part was the over-head rain shower in the bathroom. The overall experience was ruined by a few things. The main concern was that the a/c unit was not cooling. It remained what felt like a clammy, humid 80 throughout the stay. The tv in the bedroom did not work. The windows in they room were dirty so you couldn’t see the view to the pool. The comforter was also dirty with what looked like red food stains.

Rooms need improvement

Very good location. They don't have a microwave in the room. other than that very clean room and stay. Would like to have a few complimentary water bottles going forward. Very close to Sunnyvale and San hose downtowns. They do charge for car parking also. 

Great location and comfort

I booked this hotel in my last visit to Sunnyvale CA. It was clean, the design was pretty. Hotel staff was very friendly. The location was also very convenient. I only had breakfast at the hotel once but the restaurant bar looked nice and fun. 

Comfortable, clean, stylish hotel!

The TVs didn’t work my entire stay, when I asked about the televisions I was told that you were able to stream from your phone on to the tvs, and was also told that the tvs would be working in a couple hours, I ended leaving for the day when I came back for the evening I asked if the TVs were working and if the streaming was working, I was told that the tvs weren’t able to stream and that they should be working. When I got to my room I was surprised that the tvs were still not working and I Went back down to the front desk and told them about the situation and was offered to be given a discount for my stay. I accepted the offer but was not given the discount . Overall the service was bad each front desk person contradicted each other and none of them knew what was going on.

Horrible customer service

Overall good service, room was very clean and it is conveniently located in Santa Clara with short distance commute to my work place at Bay Area, various selection of good restaurants (recommend the Fleming's Steakhouse) and shops. 

Clean and convenient location

The staff was great but had to switch rooms 3x before I had one that had no issues.  Traveling with two little ones, it was frustrating getting them settled in then realizing something didn’t work.  We were late to the wedding we were attending due to the shower not working and having to wait for a room to move to.  That was not good as my daughter was a flower girl in the wedding.

A bit frustrated

This used to be the Plaza Hotel and Hyatt has taken over. Room keys were not working the night we arrived and had to change rooms in the morning. That evening the tv in the bdr was not working and changed rooms again. No working ice machine except for the 2nd floor and no microwave in room. Nice lobby, cafe and bar but no free breakfast.  

Newly reopened Hyatt

This hotel was a pleasant surprise. My wife and I didn’t really know what to expect, but this hotel exceeded expectations in every category. I plan to stay here on every Trip to Great America. Great location and family friendly
