All perfect. Expect no onsen. Location is great. Service is great. One of my best hotel I stayed in the whole world. Facility is new and modern. Modern Japanese decoration is my favorite also. Will say worth it. 

Awesome Hotel

The location is superb, the best part of Ginza.  Staff are all helpful and kind.  Breakfast buffet is excellent, Inhighly recommend to make this hotel as hub while visiting Tokyo.  If you are driving, this hotel offers parking even for high-roof cars and very convenient.  

Great location and breakfast!

My 8 year old son loves the complimentary snack bar and game machines in the lobby. Great location, great service, great room and great food. Everything is perfect for us, it is our to go hotel when in Tokyo. 

We love this hotel !

The Centric property could not have been better located for your Tokyo vacation.  The hard product of fantastic looking hotel, great amenities, and exceptional staff made this experience amazing.  Ginza is shopping heaven, and if you prefer other neighborhoods, the connectivity to metro of this hotel cannot be beat.

Perfect stay

I'm very glad we stayed at the Hyatt Centric Ginza. The rooms were very clean and modern with enough space for my 2 year old to run around and explore. He loved all the complimentary snacks and juice boxes that were offered in the lobby everyday. He also enjoyed watching the robot dog. The beds were very comfortable, AC works great for those hot and humid summer days. Amazing shower head with great water pressure. Having the mini refrigerator also came in handy to store any sandwiches, snacks, milk from the convenience stores incase my 2 year old got hungry. The room comes with bottled water (for free) which was great. Most hotels charge you. After walking around and sweating during the summer, it was nice have ice cold drinking water. They replaced any bottles we drank every day. We also got room slippers everyday. The rooms are also very quiet, we traveled with another family and got two rooms next to each other. We could not hear their child crying at all. You can also request to rent an Amazon fire stick if you need to stream any of your shows or movies. I loved that they offered that since most of the channels were in Japanese. 

We did the breakfast buffet twice, it had a wide variety of food options to choose from. Very good selection of fresh fruit, vegetables and classic breakfast items. I would highly recommend since not many sit down breakfast restaurants are open before 10-11am in Tokyo. The bar was also usually busy every day and every night. Nice way to end the hectic day and grab a nightcap. 

Location was great, its very central to many popular neighborhoods and attractions. Subway station is close by as well as many department stores/malls. If you're into the luxury shopping scene, this is obviously a great area to stay in. There is a Natural Lawsons down the street if you need anything. 

Staff was very friendly and super helpful. They always had a smile on their face and always seemed happy to answer any questions I had. Overall, I would definitely stay here again. It was very family friendly, great location and amenities with a wonderful staff. 


Amazing hotel with the perfect location

Great location with nicely designed rooms. Easy 3 minute walk to Ginza Metro station as well as 12 minutes to Tokyo station. 4 Night stay with excellent housekeeping and excellent breakfast. Was surprised how quiet the room was considering the hotel was at 100% capacity. Nice touch that the hotel provided the use of umbrellas. Deluxe King was much larger than many Japanese hotel rooms and the air condition worked great during the heat and humidity.Will be staying again when we visit Tokyo again. 

Like the design of the hotel and large rooms for Japan

The location is very convenient, whether it is Tokyu Plaza, Mitsukoshi, Wako, Yurakucho is a few minutes walking distance. The room is very comfortable, stylish large capacity refrigerator, 8 bottles of mineral water supply, thanks to the professional service attitude of each position, make guests feel at home, which is also the reason why I often travel to Japan

The staff was welcoming and responsive here, and the hotel has a very hip, eclectic vibe to it. The room itself was large and very clean, but the layout felt awkward to us. The vanity and sink are in the middle of the room, with the toilet and shower in separate, but nearby areas. You can pull a wall partition partway across the room to separate the vanity/sink from the bedroom, but we still would have preferred a layout that afforded more privacy and efficiency. For example, there was no real place to set your clothes when using the shower. The showerhead, if left in place, faces the door. You can't really adjust the direction of the spray, and although no water leaked through, it felt safer to use the shower as a handheld.

The Ginza subway station was an easy 6-minute walk away, but that particular station is laid out in a confusing way. It's part of a shopping/restaurant complex, and you will have to climb 51 stairs to get to street level, unless you can find the elevator, which was very slow.

The breakfast was the real star here at the hotel. The selection and preparation were top-notch. You can get eggs made to order, the fruit was plentiful and perfectly ripe, and there were mini donuts on a rack. The presentation was amazing, and the staff was professional and friendly.

Complimentary beer in the lobby during happy hour. Snacks and hard candies available all day. You can play PacMan or Space Invaders for free in the lobby as well. Uniqlo Ginza was 2 blocks away.

Really enjoyed our stay

The place just has the best atmosphere... feels special every time you walk through the door, yet also manages to feel like home. Ideal location right in the middle of the Ginza. The staff are incredible and make the whole Japan experience so easy to enjoy.

Our favourite hotel in Tokyo

Hyatt Centric Ginza // highly recommended to stay in Tokyo . it has perfect location in Ginza , beautiful design , Literally close to anywhere . great staff , good breakfast , will definitely return here . 

Hyatt Centric Ginza highly recommended

Stayed at this hotel twice now and most recent with my family (4 rooms) - very clean, complementary snacks and drink (beer, etc from 5 pm to 10pm) - breakfast buffet was enjoyed by all and better than most. Rooms are comfortable and quiet with easy access to Ginza and metro stations.

Great Ginza Hotel Choice

The front desk was not friendly nor professional during check in check out and out of order service.  Hyatt has gone down so badly that I would not choose to stay any Hyatt anymore.  You better off spend $600 a night elsewhere.

The Worst Experience

Perfect location and extremely helpful staff. Everyone speaks excellent English and were more than willing to share some of their sightseeing recommendations with me! The hotel was clean and well stocked with complimentary water which is a very kind gesture given the heat. The hotel is located right by the Ginza corridor which has some nice bars that stay open till 4am.

Best Hotel in Ginza

I stayed for just one night, but the experience was fantastic and I’m looking forward to staying here again. The staff was wonderful and incredibly helpful. The room was comfortable and incredibly well laid out.

Outstanding Stay

Spacious room compared to Tokyo standard, room is new, bedroom facilities are well managed. Perfect location closes to metro and is located in the heart of Ginza shopping area. Highly recommended, and i will return to this hotel again

Perfect location, great condition and friendly staff

THE PROS: 

This is a very well designed property in a great location in Ginza, one of the best spots to be in Tokyo. Very high-end area. Every detail has been well thought out and for Hyatt Centric is very high-end design. The property is spotless, as one would expect for a newer hotel, and being in Japan. 

The breakfast buffet is very good, as you’ll come to expect out of Japanese hotels. The rooms are well designed but lack any views. 

THE CONS:

The service is very poor, especially if you expect any benefits as a status holder with Hyatt. I’m a globalist and received zero benefits, other than the free breakfast. There was no welcoming me as a Globalist, zero upgrades given, in fact I was given the worst room in the building facing construction and a roof of AC units (they know exactly the views when they assign these rooms so don’t let them tell you otherwise). There was no effort to resolve any requests including a room change to something not facing construction, or a request for a softer bed (I had to ask for a pillow-top mattress cover which they did, but only after I had to request this for a solution. They wouldn’t even look on the computer to see if they could accommodate a room change. i only received a “so, sorry”, in a very animated and “screw you entitled American” way. This was perhaps the worst service I’ve received at a Hyatt property in years. Don’t expect this in Japan, normally service is outstanding, though not flexible. Look to Marriott hotels like The Ritz for service that is more accommodating to US clientele. I would strongly recommend anyone with Hyatt status avoid this hotel. I also stayed at the Grand Hyatt and the service is at a level you would expect. 

I felt targeted and dislike as an American. Perhaps that was in my head, that is certainly possible, but I’ve never felt that before in Japan, and I’ve been going for 20 years. I’d like to chalk this experience up to new staff that has not had enough training yet coming out of COVID.  

I booked this long in advance and used points, but the price at the time of check-in was about $1,300 a night. This is outrageous for this hotel and price gauging. I’d put the value at around $300 / night. 

Great property, poor service

As tourists we have really enjoyed the stay. We spent five nights at this hotel. The clean, quiet rooms and the great location, where you are nearby large department stores and food options made our experience very enjoyable. We were not impressed with the knowledge of the staff  at the checkin. Also the breakfast was not so great and in following days we ate at the City Bakery at the Tokyu (not Tokyo) department store building nearby. The benefits far outweigh the shortcomings and this is why I give a rating of five stars.

Great hotel at a great location

Extremely helpful staff and the hotel was perfect! I love the wood theme. The bathroom was huge, plenty of bottled water was provided, check-in was easy. I love their complimentary snacks, especially the cup of noodles and Japanese pringles. 

Service was excellent!

This hotel has everything you need and nothing you don’t in an A1 location. That combined with the most helpful and polite receptionist I’ve ever met, make this hotel exceptionally good.Highky recommended

The staffs are friendly, helpful and polite. They will do their best to cater to all guests requests. Ensuring that the guests are happy and satisfied. They can assist to make reservations for restaurants, theatres, etc. Room is big, well kept and clean. 

Superb Hospitality

We were only here for the night before our flight back to London but would have been happy to stay longer.  The room has everything you want (just takes awhile to figure out all those light switches) as well as a great view.

Very comfortable hotel in the heart of the Ginza

I chose this Hyatt property because I had two staff members traveling with me who had never been to Tokyo. They enjoyed being in the heart of Ginza and within walking distance of Tokyo Stations and many wonderful restaurants. The bountiful breakfast buffet was included for Globalists.

Perfect Location for First Time Visitors

Although the overall cost was high, it’s really worth of being in the “Heart of the Heart” of Tokyo’s shopping/tourist attraction areas. The hotel was staffed with great  service mind. The breakfast, which was the only meal we had in more than a week here, was plenty of things you may imagine. All assets were carefully selected with high efficiency. The excellent hygiene was also recognized in all the Hotel’s areas, not only the guest rooms.   

How excellent Hyatt Centric Ginza Hotel is???

Everyone we encountered was exceptionally helpful. The front desk provided useful information and responded to our requests making a longer trip so much easier. The restaurant was fun and delicious and we especially loved the Red Bream. Housekeeping was superb.

Exceptional experience and great location

Friendly staff from the front desk and housekeeping. 
Location is very accessible by walking. A stone's throw away to major shopping labels and plenty of eateries around. Check with front desk and they will give you a map and coupled with Google Maps, finding any place wont be too difficult. 
Convenience stores are also around the vicinity, about 5 mins walk from the hotel to just about any direction, which will lead to either Lawson, Family Mart or 7-11. 

Vacay in Tokyo

Hyatt Centric Ginza is located in the heart of Ginza, with very close proximity to a lot of shopping areas. It is also easily accessible to multiple metro and JR stations, thus can be a great base for exploring other parts of the city such as Shinjuku and Ueno.

The service and staff is exceptional. Before the trip, I emailed to reserve a table at a restaurant. The staff responded very quickly and made the reservation for us.

During checking in, the staff was also very helpful and explained all the benefits. There was a small lounge area with free snacks and drinks for Hyatt members.

The room was clean and well organized. It was a bit small but this is Tokyo. The room has a strange setup with a central station that doubles up as desk and as washing area. This is to save space. Other than that, the beds are very comfortable and the Washlet toilet is great to use as well.

Every day the room is refreshed with free bottles of water and the room is cleaned and organized neatly.

The cash rate is super expensive but we booked before Japan opened up so we were able to take advantage of the low price at the time.

When we checked out, it was rainy and it was inconvenient to carry luggages to walk to the metro station in the rain. So we asked the staff to book a taxi for us. The staff also helped carry our luggages onto the taxi. We really appreciated their exceptional service.

In Japan, you can typically expect much higher level of service than in the US and without the hassle to tip. 

Excellent location and exceptional staff

The location of this hotel is amazing - short walk to Ginza shopping street and many wonderful eateries. The rooms are spacious and layout was well thought out. Despite the windows facing the street there was hardly any noise disturbance! Gym is well equipped and 24 hours which is super convenient. Would definitely stay here again

Great hotel with amazing location

This a great, new hotel in one of the best parts of Tokyo. The rooms are large and have everything you need. The hotel has a very modern design, but it still feels connected to the city and history. The staff is very helpful, both at the hotel and the restaurant. The breakfast buffet is a perfect way to start your day and the team there was very helpful in navigating some dietary restrictions at the one dinner we had at the hotel. Would absolutely stay here again when I come back. 

Beautiful hotel in a great location!

Although a good central location in Ginza, this was my worst experience of all the Hyatt hotels in Tokyo.  The room was loud and horribly designed with the bathroom sink in the middle of the room. The breakfast was decent, but tables next to me left we often left dirty through my entire meal. There was construction noise throughout the entire 4 day trip through the weekend that was so loud our background noise machine could not cancel it out. You could also hear people walking and moving around in the adjacent rooms. 

Great location but the rest was below par.

This was my first time staying at a Hyatt Centric and it left me impressed.  I’m a loyal Bonvoy member but tried this out because of location. The location simply can’t be beat. So central. Great shopping. Close to everything. Subway 3 minute walk. Stay here!  

First time staying at a Hyatt Centric and I’m impressed. Location is amazing!

The Hyatt was by far the most expensive per night stay in Japan.  Yet it was not closer to transportation and the beds were smaller by comparison.  It's a nicely design space but I don't think I'd stay there again.

Not worth the cost

Amazing location, incredibly friendly and helpful staff, good-sized rooms that are clean and well maintained, great sound-proofing, excellent food, the list goes on. The people at this hotel just have everything covered. I’ve stayed at hotels around the world for over 1000 nights (lifetime platinum at Marriott and recently switched to Hyatt) and this is now one of my favorites. Will definitely look to stay here again when traveling to Tokyo! Thanks for such an awesome stay!

What an awesome stay

Amazing beautiful hotel - maybe a little expensive - right in the heart of Tokyo. The hotel is small but that’s what makes it beautiful and boutique

Location is great for shopping, easy to get a taxi. Fairly new hotel with good sized rooms and great amenities. Comfy beds, loved the contemporary design of the rooms and the hotel overall. The room did not have a nice view, though as it looks into another building.

Excellent service, beautiful modern hotel, central location in Ginza

Keijiro was great in helping with all our needs and getting a big taxi for us upon checkout.  He's also an excellent swordsman. Saito really came through with our late Globalist checkout request.
Taiko, Dai, and the others at the front desk are always so welcoming when we return to the hotel each time that it makes it feel like we are returning home. 
All the restaurant staff are great and a special shout out to the cook in the back who always knows what I want to eat. 
The housekeeping department is so quick with all requests and they do a fine job of cleaning the room when needed.

Our stay was perfect, thank you.  My children love the Aibo, video games, and snack offered in the lobby. I like the complimentary beer in the evening.  Breakfast in the restaurant was fantastic and the chef is awesome and always knows what I want.  The wait staff is great as well and is always so helpful with my small children.

Our family was very well taken care of.  We couldn't ask for more.


Amazing Hotel in Ginza

Hyatt Centric, mid range of the Marriott Bonvoy group is a family friendly hotel on the best street of Ginza, Namiki Dori. Everything is on your doorstep from bars, restaurants, cafes, shops and entertainment. Designer labels and boutiques on every corner and Lawson on the next block, it’s a shopper’s heavenly paradise. If that’s not your thing, Gibza corridor and Tsukiji are nearby. Excellent staff and extremely clean, your stay here will be easy and comfortable. Clean, cool and dark rooms with no traffic noise. The breakfast and evening dining at Namiki667 are both recommended but many other options extra nearby. I would certainly stay again. 

Excellent location, family friendly.

This was our second stay at the Hyatt Centric Ginza. The last time we stayed there were some slight issues at check-in but this time Ms. Tamura was very helpful in answering all my questions and arranging for a smooth check-in. 
The Hyatt Centric Ginza is in a great location in the heart of Ginza on the beautiful Namiki Street. The bar is great for having a drink and they have a happy hour as well. Mr. Tanaka at the bar was nice enough to arrange for some wine to be sent up to the room along with the smoked nuts they have on the menu which are amazing. 
We were upgraded to a larger room and the rooms are spotless and just beautiful. We took advantage of late check-out the next day. Also enjoyed room service for both dinner and breakfast (being lazy) and it was always quick and the food was wonderful. 
We have stayed at many Hyatt hotels throughout Japan and the Hyatt Centric Ginza is definitely one of our favorites!!

Another great stay

We really loved our stay in this hotel. The hotel felt new, maintained well and the staff were super friendly. The location is also amazing as it sits between all the major shops for your pleasure. The room was also great, we slept really well. Although at that time there was a small construction outside our window but it didn't really bother us. I hope they add a few vegan food options in the menu. And we only ate breakfast there once and ate the bar food once also. But we would love to be back for sure!

Great hotel with a great location

The hotel is very modern and rooms are clean and specious. My families enjoy the stay and we had a good sleep during the night. The location is great and it's easy to go shopping in Ginza. The staffs are very friendly and super helpful!

Everything is wonderful

Everything you need for a comfortable stay is provided for.  The location is excellent, close to shops and restaurants that represent Ginza.  Accessibility to all parts of Tokyo is fast and simple.  A simple luxury in the heart of Ginza.

Tamura-san at the front went above and beyond with a printed personalized info to ensure that I was able to plan my trip back to the airport in the most smooth and cost effective manner. 

Breakfast was amazing that satisfies the most common demographics: Westerners, Japanese and Chinese and everything was on top.

Room was amazing and the table was genious with saving space and serving multiple functions. 

Location was central to everything in Ginza. The neighborhood is quieter and cleaner than Shinjuku so it is great for a business traveler.

Overall a great place in a great area. Staffs were very helpful, super friendly and polite.Hotel is really nice, beautifully decorated.  Free snacks, drinks and water.  Would definitely stay there again when I come back to Ginza.

Review

We were staying at the Centric because we thought that was the business hotel brand for Hyatt but the Centric Ginza is next level. Exceedingly nice hotel with a very nice restaurant where we enjoyed daily breakfast and even had dinner twice it was so nice. The set menu was very well enjoyed.

Exceptional stay

Bad procedure! Not reasonable to ask for payment for the reason of staying long time (only 9 days). room already guaranteed by credit card. hotel wont even give 1 extra hour for late checkout for a customer who stayed for 9 nights

The hotel takes you to a new level of accommodations - it is artsy but practical, comfortable and conveniently located where the (shopping) action is. A “hidden” gem because the check in counter at the fourth level hides from the pedestrian outside the nature of the establishment. 

A hip and cool hotel in the heart of the Ginza

From the first days we stay, we already take pictures if the toilet bowl floor is very dirty… alot of spot, also the customer service already come to my room and take pictures for documentation. But unfortunately The hotel management not said anything also not give any explanation also compensation.

Terrible and Very Dirty

It's the best of all Hyatt properties in Tokyo I've stayed in, calculating all their quality-price ratio. Best rooms (even the most basic ones), best services, great food. And the reception is the highlight because they're always very willing to help and ready to respond to any inquiries during our stay. For example, at check-in we found that a basic king-bed room could not accomodate a roll-away bed for our 8-year old, they immediately helped us change to a twin bed room so that we could have two beds to solve the situation. They were also responsive on the online system because I used the application to ask for a pair of ear plug when we were out to visit the city. And they delivered it before we came back to our room one hour later. We were just so very satisfied with our stay. Would definately stay here everytime we go to Tokyo!

Best Hyatt Property in Tokyo

My hotel of choice in Tokyo, that is until, of course, i design and build my own!- which may be a long time off for the time being!

This hotel has everything, great service, great location and a very friendly GM who is extremely knowledgeable in Japanese sneaker culture!

Your home in Ginza

Location of hotel is excellent and service is impeccable.  Staff attentive and warm.  The condition of the hotel is very good.  It is very well maintained esp during COVID.

A hidden gem in Ginza

Comfortable business hotel. Very good location to Ginza area, where there is good shopping and dining options. Near subway stations too. Smaller size Hyatt, easy to get in and out, very nice service, although dining is not the same level as a Grand Hyatt. Guest area on lobby floor is nice to do your emails and take meetings.

Excellent and practical choice

Not your typical Hyatt - especially the design of room. Very modern and energitic. The staff were dressed in Polo, young and very helpful. There was only 1 restaurant in the hotel and since this was Japan, i was surprised there was no Japanese food on the menu. Had a Wagyu burger and a lobster bisque soup for dinner....I was lookibg for something Japanese. The food was nice though and the staff at staff were very friendly. 

I would go and stay there again even though the restaurant had no Japanese menu.  The hotel is right in the middle of Ginza and I could have just gone out for a Japanese dinner. 

Nice Surpise Staying at the Hyatt

Great hotel, great staff, great location, F&B up to great standards, a very good address in the center of Tokyo. I would highly recommend this hotel for any sort of trips, business or personal, it's great

Great Experience

This hotel has everything you need for a comfortable stay in the heart of Tokyo. Very spacious considering the size of hotel rooms in Tokyo in general. No pool, so if the purpose of your trip is to relax at the hotel, might be better to stay at another Hyatt brand or hotel, but with a fitness room and large enough lobby area to relax or do some work, I found our stay very enjoyable. Do recommend, especially if you want to be based in Ginza.

Great hotel in very central location.

I very much enjoyed my stay here. I travelled for business and this hotel suited my needs. Very centrally located to all the shops and resturanrs that Ginza has to offer.
Very close to a train station and walkable to most attractions in the city if that’s your preference.
Staff were extremely helpful and all spoke very good English. Very good choices for breakfast, great room service menu and the on site restaurant was very good.
All in all, I had a wonderful stay. 

Great hotel in a great location

It was a convenient location in Ginza, 3-5mins walk to the Ginza Metro Station. High end branded shops close by, e.g. LV (2mins walk), Rolex (next unit). Family mart, Lawson closeby too. Alot of restaurants within walking distance.

Convenient Ginza location

Stayed for 2 nights for a quick trip. Hotel was clean and well appointed. The art work throughout the hotel was great to watch. Hotel is located in middle of Ginza and a relatively short walk from subway stations. Breakfast on 3rd floor was delicious. Would not hesitate to go back. 

Great place to stay in heart of Ginza

The Centric brand brings a refreshing feel to the traditional Hyatt brands. Rooms were spacious for Japan standards and had everything you'll need, including a good size gym. The bar area was nice but opening hours were short.

Amazing hotel in good location

Very impressive by the quality of Customer service , the reply for the queries was as quick as possible , the romm was very clean. 
I like the design of the room, extremely calme , outstanding ambiance as at home 

Like a hotel boutique, excellent experience

Been staying at this hotel for a few times and absolutely love it everytime I visit it. 
Noticed a few changes since the previous visit, and glad to see that things are started to getting back to normal.

- The restaurant & bar has resumed normal operation hours.
- World of Hyatt members can now enjoy free drinks (non-alcohol) & snacks available at the lobby lounge.
- Full breakfast buffet at the restaurant has resumed instead of the previous in-room dining breakfast option.

Home base in the middle of Ginza

The Hyatt Centric is an ideal Hotel in the centre of the Ginza to enjoy the shopping, sight seeing and business for a seasoned person on business. This Hotel has all the amenities you will need in order to have comfort as well as the options for restaurants to enjoy modern day Japanese food.

May Tokyo Travel

I can't say enough good things about this hotel.  My room was spacious, very well appointed, clean, and extremely quiet. The staff is absolutely wonderful, they truly make the place special. The restaurant has really good food and a great happy hour.

Very attentive staff and management.  Genuinely care about the customer.  Highly recommended.  The location is top help being right in the centre of Ginza.  A short walk to just about everything you would ever want to see in Tokyo.

Great Hotel!

I got very clean room stay and excellent services such as providing beverages.
Also for COVID19 the hotel provided a circumstance carefully least to contact a person.
I would like to stay hear again storongly.

Cleanness & Services

Totally not worth the money! Service was extremely bad, and staff were not genuinely service orientated. The view was also terrible, facing directly into another building's office, and unable to open the blinds for natural light to come in. For a hotel, the fittings looked dated, possibly due to bad maintenance. The only saving grace was the central location, but with newer hotels sprouting up, better to stay in those. 

Extremely Bad Experience!

I usually don’t write reviews, but I am really pleased with my stay at Hyatt Centric Ginza.

I stayed two weeks there; the price is very reasonable and the room is huge with good street view. The location is excellent, one of the most expensive area and two minutes from Main Street ginza, also lots of boutiques and nice restaurants nearby. Staffs are very friendly and helpful. 
I really enjoyed my stay, it’s like my family there. 

As for improvement, I think the food/in room dining could be better. However it’s understandable that the kitchen operates with limited capacity during Covid 

Excellent experience and very reasonable price

We stayed at the hotel for one night as we had an early morning flight.
Staff was very helpful and friendly.
The lady-staff who helped us with our luggage (8 pieces altogether) was exhausted.
The room was extremely clean and spotless.

helpfulness and cleaniness

If you like to read, drink and chillax, the Hyatt Ginza is a great place for that. The spacious lobby with good books and fast Wifi is perfect for reading up on Japan or just having a cup of coffee. The location is great and the ambience of the entire hotel is wonderful. 

A chill place in Ginza

Had a special staying experience there. People are nice, cozy room and very good access at Ginza. New and modern facilities. Strongly recommend if you visit or stay at Ginza area. Regardless business or private.

This Hyatt is centrally located in Tokyo Ginza, close to a lot of great restaurants. Staff is very friendly and helpful. However the check-in area is somewhat confusing and crowded. Rooms are basic but pretty big for Tokyo standard. 

Great location, but expensive for room size and quality

Room is big in Tokyo standard. Clean, bedding very comfortable. Big shower/bathroom. Friendly and helpful staff.Very convenient location. Close to metro station and prestigious shops. Abundant restaurants near by.

Great Stay

Excellent services. Your staffs at reception are professional who took the trouble to help me get back a backpack I lost in shuttle bus from airport to Ginza station. My total experience at Hyatt Ginza is great.

Excellent service

The hotel is excellent. Very centrally located in Ginza. Best for shopping, dining in the area. The room is big and staff very helpful. Decor is trendy and cool yet also suitable for family. Will definitely stay here again.

CNY Holiday

Hotel is in the heart of Ginza which allows you walk around explore and see the city. Very close to the train station and very central.  Rooms are great staff is excellent.  Breakfast buffet needs more items. Price needs to be adjusted. 

Amazing location

Love the location of the hotel but hotel need to provide a detailed map of the location on their web site for new guest as we took a little while to find this hotel without a detailed one.  

Staff provided excellent service.  Went out of the way to try to accommodate our request.
Lots of free drinking water provided in room. Can request for more if needed.

As the hotel is still relatively new, everything was still well kept and clean.

Like the fact that it is a non-smoking hotel. Therefore no musty smell.

Room is spacious for Tokyo standard.

Will return in a heartbeat.

A Very Comfortable Stay

this was our second stay at Hyatt centric Ginza Tokyo. Everything was perfect, the service and foods are excellent as expected. Staffs there are professional and friendly, always offering help and we have no trouble communicating

Good service, excellent location, good value for money, contemporary hotel. Courteous staff, very responsive and friendly. Didn’t try their restaurants though as there ere so many choices nearby. Must try next time. Would recommend for travellers. 

Excellent location, chic hotel

Interesting Hyatt contemporary property in the middle if Ginza. Great access to restaurants and shopping and the Tokyo experience. Having lived in Tokyo, this property and the Grand Hyatt Roppongi are two premier properties that allow a great Tokyo "omotonashi" experience

Hyatt Centric Ginza Tokyo

Excellent hotel with wonderful room. We loved it and returned to stay again. The staff were very helpful and professional and the location is fantastic. Smack in the centre of Ginza, made moving around very easy.

Excellent hotel

Great location, wonderful breakfast, comfortable and quiet room, helpful and friendly staff. We highly recommend and would stay here again. Numerous metro stops are close by. Also great selection of nearby restaurants as well as shopping. 

Great hotel in Tokyo

This hotel is perfect for young travelers as it is located at a perfect location. But the hotel does not offer much restaurant options nor does it offer late-night room services. Even the bar at the hotel closes early too! The room is okay, quite spacious compare to other local hotels, but the design is somewhat cramped. The sink is quite awkwardly designed, while the bar stool is placed facing the bathroom. If you order takeout/room service, there's not much place for you to eat it. WEIRD... the thermostat is a major problem and many of my friends feel the same!

Great location (but not so much facilities)

This is the third time I stayed at Ginza Centric Hyatt.  The location was exceptional.  Close to restaurants and shops within walking distance.  Services and staff were nice.  The only thing one has to be aware of is the hotel has small rooms.  Some rooms are not large enough to have sofa bed and/or roll-away to accommodate additional child.

Best Hotel in Ginza.

This is a fantastic hotel in the heart of Tokyo.  Location is very good in Ginza nearing lots of shopping and great restaurants.  It's just a short walk (5 min) to subway (Ginza Station, 1 stop away from Tokyo Station).  The hotel itself is clean and modern with very friendly and helpful staff.  Rooms are a little small but we are still very comfortable (family of 4 with 2 kids age 7 and 9).  Highly recommended!!

Fantastic Hotel in the center of Tokyo

Chic hotel with attentive service.  Very helpful.  Great location, convenient, right at all the happenings.
The concierge has booked all our desired dining venues.  Thumb up.  A contemporary hotel with personal service.

Great Hotel, Great Location!

Stayed for 3 nights. After staying for 2 nights, I returned to my room after lunch only to find an eerie religious item placed standing on top for a wall lamp in a corner of the room. Properly spooked, we called the front desk requesting their immediate assistance. Staff attended to the matter responsively and courteously but could not conclude how or why the object ended up there. They made all sort of guesses to assure, even gave drinks and breakfast voucher (both I have no use for), but nothing can soothe my spooked mind. For this, although the hotel is as flawless as can be in all other aspects, I can’t say that I’ll be a returning guest.

Flawless but eerie

Wonderful location, friendly and knowledgeable staff. Pleasant facilities and good ambiance. Clean and new! Great new addition to the Hyatt family. Wonderful for a nice chill out in the evening. Will come again!

Wonderful Experience

Perfect location! Food at the hotel cafe was also very good. The rooms were much bigger than regular Japanese hotel rooms. Rooms were very clean as well. We will definitely go back and stay at the same hotel. 

Japan w family

This is the worst service experience I've had in over 30 years of business travel.  Upon arriving around midnight from an international flight, the hotel had incorrectly booked me in a suite that was thousands of dollars more than the typical room I have booked there in the past.  When I caught this error (which wasn't hard when I saw the rate) the staff insisted the error was mine and that they would charge me for the full room rate regardless of whether I stayed there.  I've never had a less customer service oriented discussion with a hotel manager.  The whole experience left me feeling like they did not care about the guest experience and had put me in a crazily expensive room because they didn't have others available.  If so, that's not my fault.

My company has since dropped using this hotel - there are plenty of other good options in Ginza and this a a great part of Tokyo in which to stay.

Overcharged by unsympathetic staff

Stunning Hotel. Rooms were large and clean and overall fantastic! Perfect location in a great city. Would have loved to have stayed more than just one night to make the most of this stunning hotel and all it's facilities. Sadly, the Robot dog, which my kids were looking forward to interacting with, was not charged for our stay. 

Great location Beautiful hotel

Very hospitable!  Extremely comfortable, welcomed and well taken care of.  Thank you to the outstanding staff! Enjoy a lovely stay and also meet the newest staff member Roc the robotic dog.  He is so cute and lovable.  Highly recommend your next stay at Hyatt Centric.   

Loved the Hyatt Centric

The hotel is fantastically located in the heart of Ginza, 5 minutes from Chuo Dori. Amenities were modern and sleek, use of space efficient. A great little gem if shopping and eating are top of your itinerary.

Beautiful, Modern, in the heart of Ginza!

I travel to Tokyo a lot and always with my family. I think this hotel might be more suitable for business people, definitely not for family. The service is far from the usual Japanese hospitality. The room layout is not nice, with an open dressing area right in front of the door, while the shower and toilet area behind another wall. Room service menu is very limited. The only good thing about this hotel is the location. Otherwise, there are better value for money in other top hotels in Ginza area. 

The price is not worth compare to the level of service

Perfect location, if you are after a Ginza experience of Tokyo, luxury retailers and upscale restaurants and bars are all around the concern. Hotel staff are very professional, not overly friendly but ready to provide help at anytime, which is perfect. Did not like the semi open bath room design but overall the room is comfortable and I sleep unusually well, will stay at the Hyatt Centric Ginza again :-)
