You may book this hotel for its perfect location but you’ll be surprised by their service. Overall exceptional stay. No complaints whatsoever. From check-in to breakfast to check-out, the staff are genuinely trying to make your stay a memorable one. Super close to 2 metro stations, unlimited food options around - worth every penny.

Perfect location and exceptional service

Stayed in this hotel because of its location. Received excellent service from the staff. Food was excellent and the rooms very clean and tidy.

I found this hotel not exactly friendly. No, they are not rude! But they kinda give you a feeling of careless, and I am not sure it should be like that in a 4-5 stars hotel. 

The only complaint I had was the shower water pressure and the water temperature not stable. It can really surprise you ….

The hotel staff is friendly and professional.  Our room was generously sized with a functional layout.  The ensuite shower was first rate.  Upon our arrival we asked the concierge about interesting things to see in the area.  He pulled out a map of Madrid and constructed in impromptu walking tour of the area which gave us a great introduction to the city.  This hotel is a great find and we'll be back soon.

A Great Place to Stay in the Heart of Madrid

The hotel was in a perfect location and is close to all sightseeing areas. Rooms are clean, bed was comfy and the staff are friendly. I highly recommend it for those who would like to stay in the centre of Madrid. 

Perfect Location

The hotel is very nice and so is the staff. Our room was very comfortable with great amenities. A lot of great places are within a 15 minute walk from this hotel. The hotel has two restaurants and both have great food options.

Brilliant Hotel

At least two separate guests that I know of (including me) had money stolen from their rooms suggesting a systemic problem with staff - the hotel manager essentially dismissed both complaints claiming a lack of evidence, despite having access to CCTV and room entry logs - DO NOT STAY HERE

Hyatt Centric Madrid is a very nice hotel in the center of Madrid. My wife and I had a one week stay here for our first vacation in Spain. I loved the location and the good hotel services. All hotel staff speak good English and I don’t even feel that I’m in a foreign country. 

Hyatt Centric Madrid hotel

Had a great stay. Despite location in the center of busy shopping district the room was very quiet. English speaking staff. They even switched the TV in the bar from showing Real Madrid game to Chelsea-Arsenal! 

Excellent stay

I 100% recommend staying here.  Everyone was beyond nice and super helpful.  The property is located in a great location and the rooms and hotel were exceptionally clean.  The roof top was amazing and staffed with great staff that were also beyond helpful and nice.

Staff was super Exceptional, very satisfied. Cleanliness thought out our room was perfect.Would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend. Location definitely a plus and the food from room service to the breakfast buffet was superb.

Best visit ever

After having had a brilliant dinner at the Hyatt Centric in Miami, I researched the brand.  I was planning a trip to Spain and thought let's give it a try.  And am I glad that I did.   They were everything that the brand claims.  Central, Local, Quiet luxury, full service with excellent food and beverage.  The views from our balcony were spectacular.  The room was spacious, well laid out and very comfortable.  The location was central to everything that we wanted to do during our time in Madrid.  Just research Madrid roof top bars and this one will come up every time.  Many local bars and restaurants close by.  I had pre-booked most of my activities, but the concierge was very friendly and helpful with arranging train tickets for us.  (and yes he was Spanish lol...)  

This may be my new Hotel brand of choice

Overall we had a good stay. A few problems with the room which the hotel offered to address. The room was very nice and clean and the service was good. The elevators are fast, which is nice. The location is great. Not near the Prado, though. The rooftop bar is over-rated. We had a room with twin beds...too small for us but that was our call.

The rooftop bar is over-rated. Two $18 drinks in sticky glasses and a very rushed server who we never saw again.

Great room and Location.

If you’re looking at this property you already know the location and the rooms look great. What you can’t see from images is how wonderfully accommodating the staff truly is. 24-hour everything and the hotel is ready and willing to make any accommodation. We arrived well after midnight and everyone was so ready to offer any assistance they were able. I would not only stay at this hotel again, I would send my closest friends and family here knowing they would have a great time and be well accommodated. 

Only thing better than the views is the service

Everything works well. Great breakfast (order a fresh omelette or eggs) and amazing rooftop bar. Good atmosphere and close to the attractions and shops. Staff were friendly and helpful and room was spotless 

Good business hotel with fabulous rooftop bar

 Excellent experience. The hotel staff was attentive to our requests. The breakfast is among the best we have had in hotels. The bar on the roof of the hotel was excellent and no less than the hotel restaurant on the 1st floor. In any case, it is recommended to order a seafood savitza.

HYATT HOTEL - MADRID

I appreciate the staff, i appreciate Hyatt in general! I truly enjoy staying at all hyatts world wide. The location was perfectly surrounded by all the fun spots.  I cant say enough of the personnel, every one was kind l, accomidating and professional.  Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts. 

Greatest time ever!

The Hyatt Centric Gran Via in Madrid rates as one of the best hotels we have stayed in regarding its rooms and reception service.  The room was of sufficient size to accommodate two people and was serviced well.  The reception staff were excellent - efficient, kind, helpful and thoughtful particularly during a medical problem.

The Hyatt Centric was beautiful and accommodations superb. The roof-top bar was such a nice added surprise to our stay. Highly recommend! Location is in the heart of it all! Just walk out the door of the hotel and everything is in walking distance!

Elegant Hotel

The Hyatt Centric Gran Via Madrid is a hotel that never let me down. It’s the place I select for most of my business and personal trips to Madrid. The staff is always ready to help beyond expectations. They are warm, caring and authentic all the time. The restaurants are excellent and are a great great value for money. I highly recommend this hotel at the center of Madrid’s cultural life. 

A place to relax and enjoy Madrid

Great location and very attentive staff.
Beautiful spacious room. Early check in was available as we arrived at the hotel at 10AM after a long flight and really appreciated a few hours of rest.. Close to many attractions. 

Wonderful stay

It was the best location and all the staff were just amazing! They were so nice and helpful plus the hotel is very beautiful, very modern, very clean. Super recommended. Buffet was great ! Will come back for sure! 

The best! Best staff best location

Was a very good experience I have create during my small vacation period. By the way it was my first visit to whole Spain and for sure it will not be the last. I was happy during my time in the hotel and all services was just a great!

My husband and I stayed in this hotel for only one night and we loved it. The location is fantastic right on the Gran Via, the center of Madrid and within walking distance to all the attractions in the area!
The hotel  lobby and bar area are beautiful and the rooms are large with confortable beds and very clean. I loved that we could make our own coffee in the espresso machine whenever we wanted. We loved how attentive the staff were to all our needs. I only wished that the hotel had a pool and gym, that would have made our stay perfect! Breakfast it’s not included but we added it to our stay and it was delicious with a huge variety to choose from; and the best part it’s on the first floor with a 360 view of the Gran Via! We wished we would have stayed here from the beginning of our visit but they had no rooms available those days!

Wonderful hotel

The jewel of this place are the employee staff. Just great!  The minute we walked in, we were greeted with a smile, water and snack. Very pleasant.  Then we went to the restaurant for breakfast, and we were treated like royalty.  I will be staying here again.  

Fantastic Staff

We strongly recommend a room with a balcony. The concierge service was excellent! Professional and friendly staff.  Would definitely recommend and would stay at the Hyatt centric again!

Great location!

Fantastic quick stay just for 1 night. The location is amazing. Accommodating after check out with keeping bags the whole day, etc. and the rooftop bar is a great place to wait for your ride back to the airport!

Hyatt Madrid 1 night stay

Great location for new and old town experiences. Our room was very clean and we had a nice view of the city. The staff was very friendly, personable, and very friendly. We did not dine in the hotel, but did see the menu, and saw many families and couples eating the food offered. (We were busy touring and  chose to eat food from local vendors). We went as a couple, but the hotel is booked with families, couples, and young and older people as well. 

Hyatt Expectations

The location is amazing-near shopping and restaurants. Retiro park is about a mile away. I’ve stayed near Retiro park and Gran Vía location is much better in terms of things to do. 

The Hyatt is simply an amazing hotel. If you can get the breakfast included it is worth it. Fresh fruit daily, eggs cooked to order, waffles, mimosas, etc just huge spread. Super friendly staff-one in particular is Margarita who will brighten up your day with her upbeat and cheerful personality at breakfast. 

The rooms are ultra modern. The bathroom is huge with a nice shower. The bed is very comfortable. If you can get a room with a balcony it is worth it.

The gym is also nice 2 treadmills, free weights, 2-full body weight machines, elliptical, bikes. Good gym for a city hotel. 

You have to go to the roof top bar. Great views of the city. Good drinks and finger foods/ tapas. Make reservations on the weekend because it gets very busy. Let them know you are a guest of the hotel for the best seats. 

Finally the staff is top notch. I mentioned Margarita at breakfast, Elana one of the managers, and Christina M at the front desk are simply the best. 

Great Location, wonderful rooms, and friendly staff

We only had one night in an executive suite before our flight back home. We arrived early, the front desk was welcoming, held our bags while we explored the city. The hotel was charming, spotlessly clean, and a fabulous location. The staff let us know when our room was ready. When we returned our luggage was waiting in our room and two rollaway beds had been set up for my kids. Fantastic customer service. 

Perfect stay

It was a pleasant experience to stay at this place. In the middle of Madrid center to explore on your vacations do not miss this place to stay on your trip to Madrid and experience Madrid centro, shopping, visiting historical places.

Good place to stay on your vacation

We were unable to make it to the hotel, due to all the roads and metro access to the center of the city where Hotel is located being closed for a parade. We were not adequately notified about this in advance so that we could make informed decision and change our plans. When I inquired with the hotel and asked to switch into a different Hyatt hotel they refused, as we had already paid. We had to pay for another hotel at the last minute and forgo the room at the Hyatt Centric Madrid, the hotel was very keen to take payment in advance for the hotel room, but refused to help or adjust when we were physically, unable to make it to the hotel, hotel also could not assist in making it to the hotel, nor did they notify us of this planned parade at the time of booking (which they definitely knew about). 

As a long term Hyatt member I felt scammed.

Unable to reach hotel due to closed roads and metro. Hotel did not help and just took the money.

I am a Hyatt Explorist and very loyal to the brand. They gave me a room with a great view of Gran Via with a gorgeous terrace in the 9th floor. Little did I know that the rooftop bar on the 10th floor would become a nightmare. I had to take a 10 hour flight at 5 am, and hardly had 3 hours of sleep. Even though the staff at the front desk was super nice and accommodating there was little they could do to mitigate the noise level. The party stopped around 1:05 am and after that they started moving furniture around (I guess to fix the place).

I was expecting better service but the check in and out were below my expectation - the value of money is also not good —— staff are not trained well ——- location is perfect & I wish all points are addressed 

Ok stay

We were so well taken care of at the Hyatt Centric from the minute we checked in until we stepped into the very early morning taxi that the concierge secured to take us back to the airport. The front desk staff was always available to answer questions, and all staff speak excellent English, which is helpful to guests still learning Spanish, like myself! They identified an excellent run for me which took me to the beautiful El Retiro park - a gem in the middle of Madrid. Mario, the concierge, identified three fabulous restaurants for my husband and I for dinner, which we would never have found otherwise. I can't recommend the rooftop bar enough - fabulous drink menu and amazing views of Madrid, as well as attentive staff. The rooms are clean and well air-conditioned, which is key as Madrid is hot! The location is great - central to shopping and exploring other neighborhoods. I would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Excellent staff, great amenities, clean and quiet hotel

Missed connection at the Madrid airport led to a wonderful night stay at the Hyatt Centric in the center of Madrid. Rooftop bar / café and excellent reception, staff experience.  And the silence during the night was amazing. Not a sound to be heard. 

Oasis of calm in the heart of Madrid

This super clean, high class Hyatt is the place to be if you are visiting Madrid. Its in the heart of Gran Via which is the place you want to be. Walking distance to many of the attractions and a very lively street with many restaurants and bars. The staff were super friendly and welcoming. They always went above and beyond their responsibilities to make sure we have everything we need. 

Best Hotel in The Best Spot

My husband and I stayed in this hotel for only a few days but in this short stay I can honestly say that it was an amazing hotel overall with excellent service and friendly staff. We ate one night at the rooftop terrace and the food was surpirsingly very appetizing, as well as the lobby bar. 

EXCELLENT VACATION

this was the 2nd time within 2 months that we stayed at the Hyatt centric. The location is perfect to walk to all major tourist attraction and restaurants. The hotel has a wonderful rooftop bar with a great view and excellent food and drinks. The service is outstanding and we head a great time.

Nice location, staff looking to help and resolve our needs, clean room and very ample bathroom and shower. Breakfast with buffet and menu options, and both included in the price. Nice roof top to finish your day!!!!

The hotel was very comfortable and conveniently located downtown.  The staff was friendly and the facility was very nice.  Zara was right across the street.  Coffee shop on the first floor with great pastries.

Beautiful Hotel

Great hotel in a great location. Staff were very helpful. The facilities are very clean, quality beddings and toiletries. The fitness facilities are great, very clean and feels very safe. Its surrounded by good eating places and shopping areas. Very accessible to buses and trains. 

Great location, wonderful experience

This is a nice hotel in an excellent position. We wanted a central 5 star hotel with rooms with balconies. It was very clean. The staff were friendly. There is a nice rooftop bar but it’s quite difficult to get a table. The breakfast was good. 
Our only disappointment was that the bar was closed on Saturday evening. We were told to go to the rooftop bar but there was a massive queue. Would recommend this as a good quality central hotel. 

Central quality hotel

Location, staff and overall experience was awesome. Easy walking distance to everything. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling, whether it be with couples or with family. The staff is super helpful, the restaurant options are amazing!


AMAZING

This was a very nice Hyatt. Room was a little smaller than I was expecting but the view was perfect and exactly what we were looking for. Rooms were very clean. Beds were nice. Hotel staff were very pleasant but we really didn’t have much interaction with them. The only slightly disappointing experience was the rooftop patio. It was always very crowded and the live DJ made it feel more like a club. We were expecting more of a casual patio where we could get drinks and small bites while enjoying a great view. However the drinks and food were good and servers were nice. We did end up going to other rooftop patios that were not quite so loud and crowded. Our room was directly below the patio and the music was so loud you could hear it until late hours when it finally shut down. I’m not a light sleeper so it didn’t really bother me. If you are a light sleeper you would want a room below the 9th floor. Having said that we enjoyed our stay and would return. 

Overall great experience at this Hyatt.

The hotel is modern and has great staff, from the check-in personnel, to the luggage handlers, the cleaning team, etc. The room was big compared to other places in Madrid, and the location is top notch since you're in the heart of Gran Via! The breakfast buffet is a bit pricey, but again, the attentive staff makes up for it! 

Phenomenal Hotel in Madrid!

The worst experience ever due to the fact we've booked a master room on the 9th floor with terrace but simply could not use it because of the bar on the rooftop above as you hear every time somebody moves a chair and the loud music too. No solution offered by the hotel and the manager knows about the problem which is clearly permanent. People from the room next door also had their room downgraded to avoid noise but paying the same (more than 500 euros the night). Shameful for any 5 starts and even more for Hyatt.

Everything was perfect! Room clean and nice, staff always kind and quality of food very good. The position is good if you want to visit all the main turistic locations. I will absolutely recommend it.

Amazing

Book the terrace room, it’s worth the upgrade. Gorgeous views, huge balcony (and no noise with the doors shut despite how busy Gran Via is).

Very friendly staff.

Perfect location, stayed in room 504 , a big room. The room was too close to the next building and U can't open the curtains or the window. 5 stars hotel should have a bigger safe for computer, supply a small towel for the  face and hair, dental kit, a comb, welcome fruits. they asked 300 euro guarantee for 3 nights although the hotel was paid in advance, refused to leave such a great sum of money, and they said they would not charge my credit card. 2 nights out of 3 the bar on the 10th floor was closed  due to private events.   

A good hotel

I was delightedly  surprised by the tranquility in the hotel despite being in the middle of Gran Via.The collaborators are very attentive and willing to help or answer any doubt.For sure I will return.

Surprised

The staff was very helpfull and professional. The location of the hotel was the best, yo are walking distance to mayor attractions in Madrid, like La Chueca, Plaza del Callao, Puerta del Sol, Plaza Mayor, crossing the street is a Hop on Hop Off stop, and many shops and restaurants.

Excellent service and location!!!

The hotel is very centrally located and is a perfect jump-off point for touring Madrid, either on foot or through public transportation - most (if not all) the sights of Madrid are eaisly accessible by foot or public transport from the hotel.

In the middle of pretty much everything

This was a really nice hotel, right in the center of Madrid. The staff were super nice and the hotel exceeded my expectations for a business trip. My only complaint was that the prices were quite high compared to a local chain I stayed at across the street for a personal extension to my business trip. The other hotel was not as modern, but the breakfast was much more reasonably priced and quite good. And the cost of the room was about 2/3 what I paid at the Hyatt.

Great service, modern, central location, but pricey

Great location, beautiful looking hotel from the outside.  But we were confirmed for adjoining rooms, we got two rooms next to each other.  Then was offered to move us to suite with two beds and a great view of the magnificent Madrid city.  However, the suite has a strong rotten egg odor that suggested sewage issue, and the janitorial staff was not able to fix issue.  They were sold out so there was not another rooms for us to move to.  We kept all windows opened the entire stays and now one of us has unexplained rashes!!  This is not the World of Hyatt experience we have known and expected.  Highly Disappointed!!

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Hyatt Centric Gran Via Madrid, and will definitely stay at this hotel the next time I’m back in Madrid. The location is excellent and all the must-see city attractions are with walking distance. There is a Metro stop right near the hotel. The hotel staff were helpful and friendly, and always made me feel welcome. My room was spacious, quiet, well furnished, and I was able to open the windows to get fresh air in the room. And the food was wonderful - make sure to visit the rooftop bar - El Jardín De Diana and take in the view and the ambiance. Lots and lots of breakfast options each day, and the food at the hotel restaurant was fresh and delicious! The concierges were very helpful in giving me directions and suggestions on what to see and do. I only wish I could have stayed at this hotel longer. 

A wonderful stay at the Hyatt Centric Gran Via

We often go on vacations, this was one of the best weeks we've experienced. Much thanks to the hotel. The staff was amazing. Outstanding. I would especially like to mention Marcos from the reception, who helped us a lot, recommended great places and helped with everything. We felt like we had a friend in the hotel. At the concierge desk is the wonderful Mario! Assisted with restaurant reservations and even delayed leaving on his way home to help us catch a taxi during rush hour. Thanks to the excellent staff, we will return to the hotel for Christmas

great experience and location - easy walk around in town  - no noise despite it being at the center location. transport in and out very easy + if one is into trains as well. lots of places to each around.

Great experience

The Hyatt Centric Madrid proved an immaculately maintained, centrally located, luxurious hotel in which to begin our vacation in Spain.  We booked the small suite, which was ample, bright, and incredibly comfortable from beds to linens to shower, etc.  Truly great staff, excellent food and drinks and, to my surprise, eminently reasonable pricing on room service.  We shall be back, thank you!

Outstanding Accommodations in the Heart of Madrid

Hotel is centrally located to many of Madrids major sights.  However, it is a very busy and noisy area and requires careful navigation through hoards of crowds.  Staff at the hotel was very accommodating and friendly.  We had a room with an outdoor terrace on the 9th floor.  The room was clean and spacious, but we did have to move rooms to the opposite side of the floor because of noise from the rooftop restaurant/bar.  
If you don’t mind being in a very busy neighborhood then this hotel is a great option.

All is good

We enjoyed our stay in the new Hyatt Centric.  The decor was modern and comfortable without being the minimalist discomfort one often finds in "design" hotels.  The Spanish touches were clever.  The breakfast service was outstanding.  Shout out to ?Arianna? from Greece (sorry if I have her name wrong).
The location was perfect.  Easy to walk to most of the top sights in the museum district.
Would love to stay here on our next visit to Madrid

Comfortable, Modern Hotel on the Main Drag (Gran Via)

Perfect location to explore the city. Very nice hotel and great staff. Use the concierge - they recommended us a great Flamenco location. You must visit the rooftop bar really cool place and much better than others visited. Easy to get to by either taxi or train and once there majority of the sites are walkable. Couldn’t recommend more.

Location, Location, Location!

This hotel location is perfect. In the Main Street of Madrid. It is close to everything. I don’t recommend the rooms facing the Main Street as it could be noisy sometimes because of vehicle and tourists traffic. The service is good except for their bellboys who just watched us when we are entering the hotel and not even hold the door for us while we are carrying shopping bags. Their hotel -airport transport is great, the driver was on time. Overall , it was just an ok experience.

My trip to Madrid

My husband and I are return customers at Hyatt Centric Gran Via Madrid. The hotel is always clean and inviting. The entire team is extremely professional, friendly, and helpful! We highly recommend this hotel to couples visiting Madrid.

We stayed at Hyatt Centric Gran Via twice during our time in Madrid: once in an emergency (we were locked out of our apartment), and once for a “staycation.” On both occasions we were welcomed and immediately made to feel comfortable. During our staycation, the staff even set up a doggy station in our room to make sure even he was comfortable. They go above and beyond to make sure your every need is met. Well worth the cost!

Above and Beyond

We enjoyed our stay. Location is great and the staff gave us a great service from the minute we arrived to the minute we left. The rooms are big enough and everything was so clean. Also we enjoyed from the roof top.

5 star hotel!!!

The location of the hotel is right in the middle of everything the street of Gran Via has to offer.  Shops, restaurant and even theaters are all within walking distance from the hotel.  The facade of the hotel looks very prestigious.

The hotel staff goes above and beyond their means to satisfy every requests and needs that we had.  Shout out to Guillermo and his team for doing such a terrific job!  My daughter's birthday celebration was a great success, thanks to their assistance!

I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely come back in our next visit to Madrid!

Amazing Stay in Madrid

The hotel is located at the center of Madrid. You are at walking distance to some of the most important attractions in the city. The service is superb thanks to a staff extremely well trained that cares about your needs. The food at the restaurant Hielo y Carbon is a great combination of Spanish and Mediterranean flavors. 

A great boutique hotel at the heart of Gran Via

We really enjoyed our stay, great hotel, great staff, great location, near all amenities and metro stations, but beware of pickpockets operating in the Gran Via metro station and the vicinity. Food is excellent and the bar is also a very relaxing place to chill out.

Lovely stay at Hyatt Centric during a very busy period in Madrid.  Very comfortable room, excellent staff.  Big shout out to Martin at the concierge desk who provided a superb service for us, guiding us to excellent restaurants and shopping.

Great stay

We stayed here for 9 nights when visiting our study abroad student.  We were on the 5th floor in a king bed suite.  Room was dark at night and very quite--despite being so close to the Gran Via.  The air-conditioning/heating controls were fully adjustable, which is not always the case, and the rainfall shower was luxurious. We opted for the breakfast option, which allowed us to fuel up each day without taking up time from our planned excursions.  There was a full buffet with much variety, but wait staff were quick to offer up made to order eggs and bacon, omelettes, and pancakes.  Staff was very friendly and helpful, and made an effort to call me by name when helping me.  We loved the roof top bar, and the central location in the heart of Madrid.  Good dining and shopping were just a few minutes walk away, and everything else was accessible by 3 nearby Metro stations or by a short taxi ride.

Good location, dark and quiet rooms

Except my early checkin request that was handled badly, the servuce was perfect. My room was a bit noisy with too much light from sorrounding shopping malls. Without curtains I always had daylight! It was close to nice retaurants, clubs and bars.

Great location, noisy on street sides

Perfect location in the heart of it all!  Marcos and Martin were amazing along with the awesome manager, Jesus.  The service is outstanding at this hotel!  Very helpful and responsive to your every need!  Love the comfy beds and the rooms are very comfortable.  The bathrooms feature marble throughout and are luxurious.  Walk out the door and you are in the middle of all of the action.  The restaurant hosts a welcome party which is fun-filled with a signature drink and tasty bites.      

Hotel in the heart of it all in magical Madrid!

Sadly just stayed one night. We could enjoy more of Madrid with the extraordinary location of the hotel. Food was at its best. Compete with any place around. You do not have to get out if not want to. Restaurant is good & Tapas at the top enjoyable

Central & strategic location in Madrid

I enjoyed the hotel so much I came back later in the week.  Friendly staff.  Location good on Gran Via shopping area next to Real Madrid store.  Walking distance to the Royal Palace, Plaza Major, and historical tapas bars.  Excellent breakfast buffet.  But spent much time at the hotel's rooftop bar, where food and cocktails are high quality.

Stayed Twice in the Same Week

This hotel was fantastic. From start to finish the service was impeccable, food is great and the location is right in the middle of Madrid.

Our equipment wouldn’t fit in the outlets so they provided adapters, we couldn’t weight our luggage so they provided a scale - and they even left us a nice lava cake for my partner’s birthday (several times actually) 

Fantastic experience

At every turn the place was a disaster; the food was terrible everywhere in the building including the top floor terrace restaurant. The information I received at the front desk--restaurants, directions, taxi, etc., etc. There are much better hotels in the price range in quieter areas of central Madrid. There are no go restaurants to walk to in this area. 

Not worth tthe money

From check in to departure the staff at the Hyatt made us feel welcome and very helpful. The room was always clean and well equipped, the location was great, centrally located and in walking distance to many activities.

Great location

This was our first stay in a Hyatt Centric property. We were thrilled with the hotel. It provided 5 star quality without the stuffiness you can sometimes find at such properties. The staff went out of their way to make sure we had a good stay. The hotel is within walking distance to the museums and the palace as well as easy access to Metro and nearby shopping and restaurants. But its hard to beat the rooftop bar and restaurants which places a premium to serving hotel guests. We are Hyatt Globalists so we had a great room upgrade - the Terrace Suite gives you a wonderful balcony for reading and enjoying city views. The bed was super comfortable and the shower was a great way to refresh after traveling from the States. Do Not Hesitate to book this hotel. 

Fantastic Location, Comfortable Rooms, Terrific Staff

Stayed twice for one night each.  The location was excellent as we could walk easily to see museums, get great food and hear great entertainment. People watching on the street was also very entertaining. Will definitely stay there again.

Great Service and location

Great Location, wonderfull rooms, felt like home. right in the midle of Madrid with many options for public transportation , taxis. You can walk to many locations of interest from there . The roof top is also very nice.

Perfect hotel and location

smaller chic hotel right on Gran Via. walk to all central sites. near metro/train for excursions. The rooftop bar/resturant were cozy and not too pricy. Breakfast was buffet style or menu order with staff very helpful on refills. Umbrellas available 

great location, modern place

The hotel was in the middle of Madrid, yet provides a quiet oasis at the end of the day after visiting various landmarks in the city. Staff was very helpful and courteous. The rooftop bar served tasty drinks with a good city view.

Oasis in the middle of city

The hotel is ideally situated. It has a great roof top bar and the rooms are fair size for a city central hotel in Europe. The breakfast was average with not much choice of fruits. Getting taxi’s in the morning was a problem at this central location.

Well located hotel

The location of the hotel was excellent, right in the center of the city with many shops and restaurants nearby.  The room was clean and spacious.  The staff was friendly and helpful.     Many public transportations were available as well.

Fantastic

We only stayed here for a night, on our way back from Barcelona, and I wish we stayed here for the nights in Madrid on the way out! Plenty of staff were able to assist, our room was ready upon arrival, the room was incredibly large (and not just for a European room), though I'm not sure if that's just because we somehow ended up with an accessible room. Bed was comfortable and the room was otherwise well appointed. Only issue is that it took me too long to figure out how to get the shower to flow through the overhead waterfall shower head, but I was also half asleep!

Wish we were there longer!

Perfect location with an amazing view. Everything was as expected! The room was very clean. The staff were super helpful and gave us a ton of ideas what to do. The rooftop bar/lounge was awesome the drinks were good and the view was amazing.

Wonderful hotel with professional, friendly staff.  Perfect location.  Room was outstanding and the place is immaculate - very clean.  My #1 choice in Madrid.  The manager of guest services is doing an extraordinary job.
