Check-In & Check-Out Policy

Check-In: 4:00 PM

Guests are welcome to check in starting at 4:00 PM local time. Early check-in requests are subject to availability and may incur an additional charge. Guests arriving before the designated check-in time are encouraged to enjoy our hotel amenities while we prepare their accommodations.

Check-Out: 11:00 AM

All guests must check out by 11:00 AM local time on their departure date. Late check-out requests are subject to availability and may incur an additional charge. Guests who fail to check out by the designated time without prior approval may be subject to a late departure fee.

Early Check-In & Late Check-Out Requests:

  • Early check-in and late check-out are not guaranteed and are based on availability. An early check-in fee equivalent to 50% of the daily room rate will apply.
  • Fees may apply depending on the length of the requested extension or late check-out. A $100 late check-out fee may apply for departures past 1:00 PM.
  • Guests should contact the front desk in advance for any special requests regarding check-in and check-out times.
  • Luggage Storage:For guests arriving early or departing late, complimentary luggage storage is available at the front desk.

Additional Information:

  • A valid government-issued ID and a credit/debit card are required at check-in.
  • Guests must be at least 21 years of age to check-in unless accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
  • Any incidental charges incurred during the stay will be charged to the credit/debit card on file at check-out.

Pet Policy

At Hyatt Centric South Beach, we are pleased to welcome your furry companions during your stay. To ensure the comfort and safety of all guests, please review our pet policy below:

Pet Eligibility: We allow pets under 20 lbs. to stay with you in your guestroom. A maximum of 2 pets per room is permitted.

Pet Fee: A non-refundable pet fee of $175 per pet, per stay will be applied. In addition, an additional $100 deep-cleaning fee may be charged at the time of check-out.

Pet Behavior: Pets must be kept on a leash or in a carrier while in public areas of the hotel. Owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets, and pets should not be left unattended in the room.

Health and Safety: All pets must be up-to-date on vaccinations and must be in good health during their stay.

Damage or Noise: Owners are responsible for any damage or disturbances caused by their pets. If a pet becomes disruptive, the hotel reserves the right to ask the owner to remove the pet from the premises.

Room Damage Policy

Guests are responsible for any damage to the room, furniture, fixtures, or linens that exceeds normal wear and tear. Charges for repairs, replacements, or deep cleaning will be assessed based on the extent of the damage and applied at the hotel's discretion.

Smoking Fee Policy

Hyatt Centric South Beach is a 100% smoke-free property. To maintain a comfortable and healthy environment for all guests, a $500 cleaning fee will be applied per incident if evidence of smoking is detected in guest rooms, or any other designated non-smoking areas of the hotel. Guests who do not honor this policy may be escorted off the property at the hotel's discretion. Thank you for your cooperation in preserving our smoke-free environment.

Resort Fee

A daily Resort Fee of $40.00 (subject to change) is applied to each room of your stay in order to provide the following services and amenities, which enhance the guest experience. Please contact the hotel directly for more information.

  • Beach Access w/ 2 Beach Chairs and towels (provided at beach club)
  • Pool Toys/Floats
  • 2 Welcome bottles of water

  • Gym Access at Sea Spa @ Lowes
  • Sunrise and Sunset Yoga Classes on 3rd Street and Ocean Drive (Yoga mats upon request in front desk)
  • Daily 10% off beverages at The Deck Sixteen Bar (Not including happy hour)
  • 10% off Spa services with K'alma Spas both in-room or offsite.

Additional Amenities and Services

For the convenience of our guests, valet parking is available. The front drive serves as a designated drop-off area for unloading vehicles, with bell carts readily accessible for assistance. Additionally, this area is available for guests requiring support with third-party transportation services.

Self-parking options include two city-operated parking garages within walking distance—one located directly across the street and the other just two doors down.

From securing reservations at premier dining establishments and arranging private transportation to booking exclusive attractions and curated experiences, our concierge team is dedicated to ensuring a seamless and memorable visit.

Shipping and Receiving Policy

The following fees apply for package receiving and holding at the hotel:

  • Envelopes: Complimentary
  • Packages weighing 1 to 20 pounds: $5 per package, per day. This fee applies each day the package is held at the hotel until it is picked up by the guest.
  • Packages over 20 pounds: The hotel will not accept packages exceeding 20 pounds.
