Great Location and Nice Property, but Service and Pool Cleanliness Need Improvement We stayed at the Hyatt Centric Las Olas for two nights before departing on a cruise. The location was excellent, and the property was modern, attractive, and well maintained. Our room was clean and comfortable, and we appreciated the upgrade to a King Skyline View room. Unfortunately, staff interactions were hit or miss, beginning at check-in. We arrived early and understood our room wasn’t ready. The front desk took our luggage and phone number and directed us to the rooftop pool to wait. Still dressed in our northern travel clothes, we spent approximately 90 minutes sitting in the hot Florida sun. We were never contacted, despite discovering later that our room had apparently been ready. We certainly didn’t expect early check-in, but we did expect the promised communication. Another disappointment was the rooftop pool, which was consistently dirty throughout our stay. Given that it’s a featured hotel amenity, we expected better attention to cleanliness. Overall, this is a very nice property in an excellent location, particularly for a pre-cruise stay. However, more consistent service, better communication, and improved pool maintenance would significantly enhance the guest experience.

Waiting in the heat without the promised follow-up falls short of our standards, and our engineering and pool maintenance teams have been directed to increase daily cleaning cycles. We appreciate your valuable feedback as we work to ensure a seamless experience throughout.
I love this Hotel , i always stay here , nice pool , nice staff, great gym .Restaurant and bar has a nice menu .Parking is pricey but you get in and out privileges.

Great value, great location, nice breakfast, clean and modern rooms, nice bedding, friendly staff , across the street from a nice park, multiple restaurants nearby

It was just okay. No complimentary water…it’s $6 for a 16.9 oz bottle. Pool closed 5 hours early for a “private event”. Allegedly all king rooms were either “sold out” or there was a “leak”. My first and last Hyatt property.

The hotel location is very convenient. Staff is very friendly. Even has tesla service to send you nearby locations, also has bike and golf cart, though i haven't tried. Also the pool is bigger than typical hotel has. Interior of the room looks very modern. I like the night lights.

We had the absolute best time celebrating my husband's birthday here for a local staycation! He officially has a new favorite hotel. Special thanks to Javier at valet, Gabriella at the front desk, and the wonderful breakfast staff for making us feel so well taken care of. Also, Room 901 is pure magic—keep that one on the down-low! This nis a very comfortable, well-designed hotel. It is well located at the top of the Las Olas strip which has great shops and even better restaurants. It is across the road from a brilliantly curated modern art museum. Rooms are spacious, bathrooms clean and well laid out. It also has a great pool area with a bar. The staff are very helpful and full of Southern hospitality. Much more fun to stay here than down by the beaches to be in the midst of things.

As always, Hyatt Centric Las Olas always delivers world class comfort. From the front desk staff to the bartenders….to the breakfast crew, to the dinner servers and to the housekeepers, you guys are amazing! I’d like to point out a few people that we adore and love. Both Shawn and Danny at the bar are amazing. Madison is like a daughter to us, Jean is amazing and our breakfast crew are the best. It starts with Sandy, and then Direen, Shanette, Shardine, and Lila. I can’t say enough good things about Eduardo. Love him! We’ll be back on November 6. Hotel was great and location is fantastic. Only dissappointment was that on a weekend stay I wasnt made aware when making the reservation or checking in that the pool was closed on Saturday from 2:00PM on for a private party, when in Fort lauderdale for the weekend a pool is kind of one of the reasons you are there.
