Huge rooms; nice bathroom. Everyone super friendly. I called front desk for help with my tv and they sent someone right up. Hotel restaurant food is awesome!! Pool and fitness center were great too! Very walkable to a ton of things around there. Very safe. Has valet. Will let you hold your bags there until time for your flight. 

Awesome place near everything! Will be back

Second stay for me and the sequel was better then the original. The staff were and excellent and attentive to all my needs. I was able to show off some of the hotel to my family and they loved it as well. 

Las Olas

Wonderful staff, clean and quiet rooms, great pool, solid gym, excellent restaurant with a wonderful manager named Shannette who is always warm and friendly.  Location is perfect and walkable to all the restaurants of Los Olas.

Excellent hotel

Nicely appointed rooms, staff very friendly at front desk and in hotel restaurant. Good location and easy access to area. Pool area is a nice touch with plenty of chairs and loungers. Plenty to do in the area and great for walking.

Very clean and friendly

This hotel is surrounded by great restaurants and close to the beautiful river walk. Breakfasts were fun and delicious specially when welcomed by Renato and served by Direen. The hotel is very well designed with arts on walls even at the pool area. The pool has a great bar and the gym is great too. 

Location, Amenities and Staff made a different to our stay!

What a beautiful space!  Plenty to do in/around this area.  Love the park across the street and the Riverwalk was outstanding.

They have2 restaurants basically on site on site basically and everything was so delicious.  

Will definitely stay there again next time I'm in Fort Lauderdale.

Stay at Hyatt Centric

Used the hotel as a 1 nighter after landing in Miami. 
Everything works, everyone is courteous and the hotel itself is a comfortable place to rest up. 
The bar is convenient and the food is pretty good, the wait staff were excellent 
For us it is close to perfect

Nice hotel, lovely location

Central location, felt like a new hotel. Rooms are spacious, clean; attentive valet, good value. I would certainly consider staying there again. Walkable to many Las Olas highlights. My stay was short but I wish I had planned my entire stay at this hotel, thinking I would receive the predictable experience with my usual hotel chain.

Great hotel in the heart of the Riverwalk. Outstanding facility with an excellent staff! Stayed for a 6 day business meeting and everything went without a hitch!  Meals, breaks, events all seamlessly executed by seasoned professionals. Special shout-out to Eric at the front desk for assisting with special requests!

Outstanding!

The Hyatt Centric Las Olas is one of my favorites hotels in FLL area. It's walking distance to restaurants and shops. Grate location, and top facilities. Very friendly staff and the food is very good.  

I recommend it!

Everything from check-in to check-out was phenomenal. Sharise and Adrian at the front desk were attentive and interactive. The bartender Taylor was an all-star. Stop by and pay her a visit when your at the hotel. 

Vibrant Downtown Hotel With Exceptional Service

Best location for stay in Fort Lauderdale. Near the riverwalk, the water taxi, Las Olas, the art museum. Better tha staying on the beach. Great pool - professional and courteous staff! The bar is fun too!

Great place to stay in Fort Lauderdale

The hotel was very clean, the room spacious with a comfortable bed. The drinks voucher was a nice touch and it was hand to be able to have the use of the beach umbrella, towels and chairs.  There were plenty of bars and restaurants in the surrounding area. We very much enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this hotel.

Good location, nice clean hotel.

I took my dad to a hockey game and decided to stay for a night here.  As a Globalist, the front office team was able to facilitate a nice suite upgrade so that my dad and I had a little more space to stretch out.  The whole team was great from the management, bar staff, valet, and Dorian at breakfast!  Location is phenomenal for access to Las Olas.  We enjoyed it so much we are returning for another stay this weekend!  

Beautifully designed property with stellar location

It’s rare to rate a hotel a perfect score, but this location deserves a 5 Star rating. Everyone was pleasant, the hotel was extremely clean, and the amenities were great! My room wasn’t ready at check in, but the wait was worth it. 

A wonderful experience

This beautiful hotel is located at the absolute epicenter of las olas nightlife. Had no idea that this hidden gem existed and would be absolutely glad to experience it again. The price was affordable and the value vs price was intolerable to my senses lol. In short, my stay was enjoyable   

Amazing

Great hotel, excellent location and friendly staff. The decor in the hotel is very chic. Room was comfortable and clean. The hotel is ideally placed for local points of interest like the River Taxi and Los Olas Blvd restaurants

Pre Cruise stay

The hotel was very beautiful. The restaurant had awesome and healthy food. It’s in a nice area. The rooms were clean. The workout room was what I needed to work out in. The beds are very comfortable. The bathrooms are awesome. 

Beautiful Hotel

I stayed at this hotel for a business trip in April 2023. The hotel was well maintained and clean. The food was delicious. I loved having a smart TV. I had a great stay and would stay at this hotel again in the future.

The team at this HYATT is the best in an America, in my opinion.

They went above and beyond to make our fourth stay here super relaxing….

Great place to stay in Fort Lauderdale , if you want to be close to las olas street and downtown this is a great place to be. 
Great restaurants very closer to the hotel, also groceries, Breakfast is good but not include.

Staying after a cruising experience

The hotel was amazing only problem was the slamming of the doors as you slept. It was a urgent wake out of your sleep, other than that the food and the rooms were awesome. Would stay again as long as the noise could be handled 

Very wonderful place to stay!!

Stayed here after a cruise for one last night.  Was able to check in early to enjoy the pool all day.  Rooms were clean, hotel was spotless.  Would absolutely stay again!

Used rewards points, such a great value.  Nice pool area, great sun, bar open.  Just a really great day in a more intimate setting.  It is a big hotel, but didn’t feel that way.

Short but great visit!

Pre cruise stay in town this hotel was on point for both service and location. Near some awesome food options that will fit everyone’s taste. River walk is a great area to sit and enjoy some great sights. Totally recommend for anyone visiting Fort Lauderdale. 

Great hotel, great location

We had a great stay at the Hyatt Centric Las Olas. We arrived early after our cruise and the staff was great accommodating us ina very short time. The location is right by the river front and close to everything. Highly recommended. . 

Great place after cruise

The hotel was beautiful and everyone we encountered at the hotel was pleasant and helpful.  The room was large and had an outdoor balcony which was nice. The location was great and there were many great restaurants and shopping nearby.  

Great for a quick getaway weekend. Great location. Great upgraded hotel. Located on Las Olas Blvd & 5 min walk to Riverwalk. No car required to enjoy food, dining,, shops intracoastal waterway. 10 min ride to beach.   The very best experience of Ft Lauderdale, Fl.

Nice and clean hotel, room was good. Great location in Ft. Lauderdale, not too far from the airport. Pool is on the smaller side, depending on timing, it could be crowded. Coffee maker in the room, but not thrilled with the powdered creamer :-( Coffee service in the lobby doesn't open until 7 AM

Great location for shopping in Ft. Lauderdale

The pool was very nice I like my pools on the warmer side just like this.. and the luxurious robe they give you to where was a bonus.. the place was immaculately clean.. the room was spacious and the beds were super comfortable.. TV was nice big large screen i think it was a 55 inch with HBO. Local channels and many more.. excellent location to get to Riverwalk, Water Taxis, los Altos blv..

I met Nicholas Espinosa and Staff at front desk incl Safety Coordinator, Lucious and Car/Valet attendant staff to Taylor, Von, Pierre, Hillary, Kierra, Lucus, Renato, and ALL who SLAMMED Dunked this experience by adding to the most outstanding young staff I’ve seen in 5 years! I personally had given up on anyone under 30 and truly written them off as lazy, irresponsible, lacking passion or direction BUT these young people I would actually hire for leadership positions. They are so sweet, all work together, smile, share respect and kindness to one another. I felt heart palpitations and it touched me so much! They must be given more than a recognition. I feel a senior staff and leadership must come from headquarters and congratulate them all for making not just my experience out of this world but that of others at the restaurant, bar or who interacted with them felt the same! We all talked so highly of them and I truly mean what I say, pls come visit and see it for yourselves. Thank you all and I can’t wait to see you again. God bless! 

Fantastic, AMAZING ans Stellar

Absolutely wonderful stay! Quick and friendly checkin - no waiting! Hotel still looks new and has expansive lobby and is perfectly located to explore river walk behind and the las Olas downtown area. 
Very walkable and water taxis run along the river. 
The room was spacious, beautifully decorated, comfy bed, floor to ceiling windows and the bathroom was spotless with great lighting and fluffy towels. 
Elevators were quick - small dog park across the side street.
Check out the pool on the 8th floor!

Wonderful!

It’s a beautiful hotel located in the heart of Las Olas, Ft. Lauderdale!! Easy access to an assortment of restaurants, shopping, local excursions and entertainment. A few short miles to the beach. Excellent location!!!

Anniversary weekend

I stayed only one night in this hotel after cancelling an Airbnb I had stayed in and was dissatisfied.  The customer service was exceptional.  I arrived early was granted an early check-in no charge and I was also granted a late check out without any issue either.  The free 2mile ride in the Tesla was a great service.  The driver was so friendly and drove us slightly further because traffic wasn't too bad.  The room was clean and had everything we needed.  I used the gym and the outdoor pool - both of which were clean and great.  I would totally stay here again if I am in Fort Lauderdale.  It's also close to everything.

Amazing Customer Service

This is a luxury hotel, priced accordingly, that's a great location to enjoy the Las Olas area.  Walking distance to all the shops and restaurants, but not in the middle of the hustle and bustle.  Next to the River Walk and the Water Taxi stop, and not too far from the beach (although you cannot see it from the hotel, I don't believe) by shuttle.

A great place to stay to enjoy Las Olas in Fort Lauderdale

I have done a lot of travelling & stayed at many hotels, but this must be by far be the worst experience I’ve ever had. I picked this hotel, since I was travelling on my own..going for surgery in Florida & wanted a hotel with good service to make the whole experience a bit more comfortable. Upon checking in I was advised there was NO breakfast buffet & also NO room service available!! I explained to the front staff that I was travelling on my own and was undergoing major surgery & would require some help with bringing up food to the room, from their one & only restaurant downstairs. They had no empathy what so every & said that unfortunately they do not offer any room service & most people just order Uber eats or DoorDash! I was shocked & asked several times, but there was simply no way they could help me with this. This applied to when ordering a taxi in advance as well, they advised me that there was easier for me to simply download one of the apps & get an Uber. The cleaners also had an awful attitude & on the day of my surgery when I arrived back to the room at 1pm, it had not been cleaned & when I kindly asked her & had the tip ready she said she would come as soon as she had finished the room she was in, which was 45 mins later! Due to my surgery and lack of mobility, I was sitting in one of the chairs in the room whilst she cleaned. I was in a great amount of pain, but I could see how everything was done. To my disbelief I saw her use the TOILET BRUSH to clean the bathroom sink and she also threw pillows on the floor whilst changing the sheets that she later placed back on the bed. Then when she walked out she said “ My god, bitch”. I quickly put back the tip in my pocket. 

I never take the time to write reviews like this but after this experience everyone has encouraged me to do so because it was by far the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. 

The checking in process was also a nightmare. I had provided them with my credit card and they had debit me for the stay. I was informed that they also required a holding deposit for any incidental costs (i.e mini bar usage etc - mind you, there was NO mini bar) of $600 USD. I said sure & a moment later I get a notification on my phone to confirm a charge of $3000 USD!! I questioned it & the front staff said; “sorry don’t worry, I’ll cancel it on my end” I’ve followed up on this “incidental holding fee” & are yet to receive a response..over one week from checkout. Is this the new standard of Hyatt?!

Worst hotel I’ve ever visited

A very conveniently located hotel on the Las Olas strip. It is not on the ocean, but they still surprise your bill with a destination fee, for wifi and other non critical elements. Fight to get the charge removed. It is just a hidden fee.

Hyatt Centric

Was during the spring break so all hotel were sold out except this one Hyatt Las Olas. Finally, we do appreciate the place. Little bit expensive but nice area nice hotel,very clean et staff available after midnight that's awesome!

Nice hotel

Great location on Las Olas boulevard. Sunlight at the pool between the morning hours of 8:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. afternoon hours after 2:00 p.m. The sun comes back. Small pool with limited seating. If you want a good night's sleep, I would not recommend this. Hotel outside noise from downtown Fort Lauderdale is very loud.

Not worth the money

My check in process was very easy and fast. I think the process took about 4 minutes. The valet took my car, and that process was very easy. The bedroom was very clean and nice. The staff was very friendly. My overall experience was excellent. 

This hotel Rocks!!!

Near to the las olas restaurants and just 20 minutes to the beach by bike (lovely ride).
The staff is always helpful. The hotel is new, clean.
I recommend go to The Warf (few meters from the hotel) e grab some snaks and beer.

Great location

The location, the staff, the cleanliness and the amenities are all fabulous.  I would like to come back in the future with our group of 40 attendees, all well traveled and all very pleased with this property and all it has to offer.  

This property exceeded our group's meeting and outing

This hotel is perfectly located in downtown Fort Lauderdale with the Riverwalk at the back of the property. The water taxi is close by and the shops and restaurants on Los Olas Blvd are within easy reach. The hotel itself is immaculate and amenities are first class.

Fabulous stay in Fort Lauderdale

Not an enjoyable stay.  Rough edges. Not recommended.  Needs upgrading. A lot of little things that added up.  Hopefully hotel will make changes, starting with electric plugs, hard to imagine a hotel with worst electric plug placement

Bad experience

There were only two small problems with staying here at Hyatt centric. One was the overprice bottle of Aquafina water and the other being not providing transport to airport after spending a lot of money to be there. Make sure you set up transport options ahead of time to the airport because they do not provide it at 4:30 or five in the morning.

It’s a good hotel

Stayed here for one day post cruise. A short ride from the airport and cruise terminal and then everything else within walking distance: plethora of restaurants , shops, grocery.  The staff was genuinely friendly . 

Fantastic location and staff

We were traveling over a week and stayed at various hotel Our stay here at Hyatt Centric was the most comfortable. The room was spacious and very modern with outlets everywhere. The salt water pool was heated with lots of towels and chairs all around. Overall, the environment was very friendly and welcoming. I would definitely stay here again.

Really comfortable hotel

Fantastic Accommodation for our Weekend Getaway! Everything from the Bed, TV, Bathroom, Balcony, Mini Fridge, Robes, Night Lights was Great! Only a 5-10 minute car ride from the Beach and 10-15 minute car ride from the Airport!

Top Tier

Ok hotel but not definitely worth the money. I stayed at much higher and cheaper hotel that offered more amenities and things to do. The location was just about the best thing I can remember that was memorable.

High quality accommos as we have come to expect with Hyatt properties. Seamless check in with accommodating and professional front desk crew. Great location near Las Olas. Fun watching the boat traffic on New River, people & birdwatching overlooking Huizenga Plaza.  Only negative comment is overnight valet parking at $36/ night seemed a bit steep.  Next time I will request a balcony room!  Great stay

Hyatt Centric Did Not Disappoint

Took my wife away for a quick wknd getaway and everything about this hotel was spectacular!!  The hotel decor, scents at lobby, rooms, staff and they even assisted with providing the best strawberries I've ever tasted and champagne for my wifes bday.

Well done Las Olas FLL!!!

Weekend Getaway

We come here a few times a year, great location, close to all the action on Las Olas, decor is modern minimalistic which we love, beds are super comfortable and shower in the room is very good, the bar downstairs is the best place to start the evening

Great hotel in a great location

The stay here was a pleasure. It's about 10 minutes from Fll Airport. Great sized, updated rooms. Clean. Overall good service.  Only negative I have is run from the breakfast potatoes no bueno.  The pool area was nice as it appears in photos. I also was not happy with the view from my 9th floor room, when I moved the curtain I was surprised not to see floor to ceiling windows, it was giving basement window vibes.  Other than that great.  

Beautiful Clean Great service

Great hotel! Nice amenities and location. The food and wait staff for lunch was outstanding. The rooms are spacious, modern and clean. The fitness room was exactly what you while traveling. I will stay there next time I am in Ft Lauderdale!

Travel a lot and I highly recommend this hotel!

This hotel is a real jewel.  Love the location.  Close to some really nice restaurants. Staff is welcoming and professional. The pool and outdoor bar are a welcome addition to the facilities that are offered

Friendly and professional service

I stayed nine days at this location - for personal vacation. I would definitely return. The property is well maintained, new - I think with a friendly young staff and a pleasant vibe. Super clean room. Location is great - downtown. if you want a beach experience this is not the place although I took Uber once to the beach which was easy. Food was good - a perfect burger and fries. I opted out of the tomato jam the second time around. The pool is not always in the sun so you cannot expect to sun all day - and the pool can get chilly but my stay was in late Jan into Feb. I had a balcony room which was worth it. My only complaint is too. many dogs. I would so like a dog free hotel but I don't think that will happen esp. in South Florida.

Nine days

This property is at the head of the Las Olas district and overlooks the New River and jackknife rail bridge. For that it can be a bit noisy, but it’s a charming noise of bridge bells and motor yacht hails. Great views and people watching. Next to a huge dog and ball park. 

High Rise next to the Riverwalk

I stayed here the night before my cruise. It was my first trip to Fort Lauderdale. I checked in later than expected due to flight delays, but I still received a warm welcome. 
I booked a suite, and it exceeded my expectations. It was so clean, comfortable, and modern. All I personally needed was a place to shower and sleep, as well as a nearby place to eat. I did very much appreciate the included amenities in the suite, like a keurig with included coffee and tea, water, an iron/ironing board, and a safe. I even requested slippers and received them right away.
Bri at the front desk was spot on with her recommendation to visit YOLO for dinner. She made me feel very welcome and provided the level of customer service that I expect at a higher caliber hotel such as Hyatt Las Olas. Overall, I would come back to this location and I recommend others to give it a try.

Wonderful experience as a pre-cruise stay

We absolutely loved this hotel. The location is fantastic.  We walked everywhere and had to take the opportunity to get a complimentary ride in the hotel Tesla.  The hotel staff are amazingly cooperative and pleasant to talk to. We will absolutely come back.

Great location and superb customer service

We stayed at the Hyatt for just one night and it was lovely. Nothing to complain about. Room, bathroom were clean, beds comfy, staff helpful and breakfast delicious.
Close by all the restaurants on Las Olas.  We will be back. 

Excellent stay

The hotel was in a great location, however the price was too high for the accommodations provided. Ask about the water taxi voucher because we were not told about it and purchased at full price. Offer a ride to the cruise terminal.

Pre Cruise accommodation

Terrible experience! I checked in at this property after 6 pm. And before going to bed we found the bathroom sink was gross!! There was a blue spit on the sink!  So I decided that I will inform customer service in the morning. In the morning when was checking out, I showed pictures of the dirty sink, therefore, the customer service front desk employee promise me around $60 in a refund. Which I thought was reasonable, so agree to a refund and asked that do I need to wait to get approved. But the employee said no need to wait and that I will get the refund within 24 hours. Well, I haven't seen that refund even after 2 weeks! Moreover, the terrible part is even after emailing the supervisor, she is so unprofessional that didn't even reply to my email. What unprofessional, liar, and cheap Hyatt employees or management. 
Most importantly, there is absolutely nothing for kids around this hotel. So differently not going to recommend it for family or in general to anyone after I paid around $400 for a night to stay, and get a DIRTY BATHROOM and unprofessional employees.

Terrible experience!

Had issues at the front desk credit card was charge 3 times which then locked my bank account due to fraud. The manager at the front desk acted as if we didnt have funds to pay for the weekened instead of seeing this was their error. Also be aware of the amount of "fees" and then taxes of the fees for this hotel. It was nice but for sure not worth the money!! 

Disappointed with hotel

I am a frequent visitor of this hotel a few times a month and throughly enjoy this property. I love the location on Las Olas and very easy to get where you need to go. Very high quality gym and excellent breakfast in the morning. The staff is always pleasant and eager to assist guests. Valet is spot on as always. I would like to give extra Kudos to Frisland for finding my iPad and returning it to the lost and found. I truly appreciate her for doing that. Overall, if you are a Hyatt Member or not, this is a great place to stay.

The hotel was very clean, staff upon check-n AND at the hotel restaurant were very friendly and the hotel is centrally located by lots of restaurant options.  I traveled for work alone and felt very safe the whole time.  I would definitely stay again!

Highly Recommend

I booked through Expedia and I decided to extend my stay.  I went to the lobby and they said I was all set.  My wife went to a near by spa while I got on a super important business call from my room.  My phone in my room then started to ring over and over like a psycho caller.   I then unplugged the phone after telling them I would be down after my call I was on.   About three minutes later two people from the hotel knocking and knocking and knocking on my door until I opened.   Remind you I’m still in my extremely important call but they did not care.   This was all over a $4 dollar difference in room fare.   I couldn’t believe it.  I would never stay at this hotel ever nor would I ever recommend it to anyone.   It was god awful.   

Awful experience

This is an edited copy of an email I sent to Regina Stitt, the hotel's Rooms Coordinator in response to her bulk "Thank you for being our guest" email the day we checked out. As of a week later she has not reached out.

Hi Regina -

Absolutely the worst Hyatt experience I've had & certainly the worst imaginable @ the Lauderdale Centric - a hotel we've stayed at multiple times.

We knew it would be cold when we arrived, but had no idea the hotel had no heat. When we called from our low-60 degree room & spoke with Arturo, rather than "Here's how we're going to make it right," he offered more blankets - IN THE AFTERNOON! We did not intend to spend the day in our Deluxe King in bed. He offered us 5,000 (useless) points. We declined. I'm in my 70's & that cold could impact my health. In fact, my wife fell ill & is now in bed with a bad cold. Great stay, right?

I said we'd have to leave the hotel to get warm & he said he'd send up a kettle so we could make tea! I asked if that's how he heated his house. He told me I was being abusive & there was nothing he could or would do. My wife then called him. He told her that no hotels in South Florida had heat. She called the other Hyatts nearby and found that they ALL had heat. When I re-called him, he said he didn't lie. Really? This is so different from the fabulous staff assistance we'd received, particularly from Megan.

I requested compensation down to a price that reflected a stay at a Motel 6, because that's the way we were living, huddled under blankets. We left for the rest of the afternoon and evening until bedtime. We were deprived of the use of the premises from check in until bedtime. We had intended to work & then eat downstairs. To add insult to injury, you charged a 3-day Resort fee even though there were no bikes made available, no beach equipment and nothing else we could take advantage of. The cold was not your fault. The way you handled it and the lack of heat and facilities certainly were.

I suggested to Arturo that the proper thing would have been to alert travelers that the hotel had no heat and offer to cancel or modify their reservation should they wish. He said he'd take it up with the manager. When I asked to be put in touch with the manager, he said "He" was away for the holiday - at least someone was enjoying their time away - and he wouldn't bother him. Nice! Real Hyatt Hospitality & responsibility. 

Management Failure Ruins a Once Great Hotel

The hotel is in a great location, walking distance to everything except the beach.  You have to take the car to get to the beach, and if you have kids, the pool is 4 - 5 all the way across.  Those are the only cons, otherwise, its a great clean hotel and a very lively area to be in.

Hyatt Centric Las Olas

The room was better then expected! Very clean, very comfortable bed, etc. it’s a beautiful hotel! Good location. The only bad thing I would say is that there’s a lot of noise at night on the streets (which is not the hotels fault) it’s downtown Fort Lauderdale.

High quality and excellent service.  Bar was well stocked.  Gym was much better than most hotels.  Rooms were quiet and beds were very comfortable.  Laundry delivery was right on time. Elevators were efficient.   Highly recommended.

Great location. Great staff. Very accommodating. Walking distance to everything, restaurants , shops, grocery store.  Near river walk. Uber to beach and airport - don’t even need a car. Rooms were very nice 

Perfect location

Did you ever just walk into a place and feel like you belonged there?  My recent stay at the Hyatt Centric was exactly that.  Front desk staff greeted me like I was an old friend.  The rooms were beautiful, and super clean.  This is a new hotel, set in the heart of beautiful Las Olas Blvd., Fort Lauderdale.  What could be more perfect? 

Exceptional hotel

Nice room overall but toilet made a loud noise after flushed and only resolved itself after 10 minutes; floor was dirty; light in corner wasn't working; maid service skipped a day.  Bed was super comfortable; front desk was very friendly upon check in;  used valet 24 hr parking per day for $33 per day..... used only once and was charged for my entire stay of 9 days.  Front desk had no problem reversing the charges.

Dirty room.   Used towels and bathrobe.  Used opened water bottle left in the room. That blew my mind that they would just tighten the cap on an halfway full water bottle and put it as complimentary  No sheet.  I opened the bathrobe and it was wet and dirty.    I will never stay in a Hyatt again

They gave me a dirty room.    There was an open water bottle left there that they just put with the new water bottles.

Great location; a stone throw away from many shops and restaurants.  The hotel is reasonably priced.  It's clean and modern and the staff were personable and helpful.  Definitely would recommend this beautiful property.

Our Stay at Hyatt Centric

The location of this hotel can’t be beat, and the hotel itself is excellent. It’s clean and fresh, the rooms are spacious and the food is good. The staff is always helpful and the valet is always prompt. I’ll be back. 

My Go-to in Ft. Lauderdale

Great room, location value for money. Excellent staff! I was welcomed very friendly and the staff was eager to find the best possible rate and room for me. Helped me out with everything. Room was spacious and luxurious. Great experience!

Great Stay in Hyatt Las Olas

Better than expected.  Staff were great.  Hotel room was very clean and comfortable.  Located in a great area and within walking distance to countless restaurants.  We normally stay at a hotel on Ft Lauderdale beach and decided to give this a try.  Definitely worth it and would stay again.  

Excellent location and stay

The hotel is in a great Fort Lauderdale location next to the River Walk and every style of restaurant you may like.  We were made welcome by all Hyatt personnel.  The Hyatt brand never fails to impress us.

Great one night stay

Location was perfect for this trip to attend a Miami Dolphins game. RIght in the heart of the new river area. Room was excellent and staff very accomodating. Would definitely stay at this Hyatt location again!

Beautiful hotel, perfectly located, clean & updated, staff was extremely accommodating & professional! Hyatt centric will definitely be my first choice for future reservations! I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Fort Lauderdale! 

Would definitely stay here again!

The manager "z", cleaning staff, and general staff were great! However, World of Hyatt and chase bank's helpfulness in resolving placing me in the wrong room was very poor. I booked a king deluxe room w/ sofa bed through Chase's rewards website, but was placed in a room w/ no sofa bed. When I contacted Chase and World of Hyatt neither party took responsibility for their mistake in booking a different room than advertised and told me there was nothing they could do. However, the manager "Z" was able to get me into a room the following early evening. 

However, after spending 3+hours on the phone w/ consumer service and two full days in the wrong room I was still charged resort fees and not compensated for my troubles. I booked this room specifically for the larger space and sofa bed and was negatively impacted by being placed in a much smaller room w/out a sofa. Again, the customer service of this specific location was great, but Hyatt overall basically told me to go "f-off". 

Great Manager and terrible parent company

The manager called Z was very rude and created complete dissatisfaction. She could not find my reservation and asked me to change rooms, she was not even available to tell me to collect my bags. No care for the customer. Then he called to say he could stay in the same room.
We had a team of 8 people staying at the hotel and in 8 different rooms. We have used your hotels in other places as well and never experienced this.

This modern hotel has well appointed and well equipped rooms, including a raindrop shower head and handheld (there is a distinct lack of these in US hotel it would seem). 

If I were being critical I could call out the damaged show tray or the laminate flooring that had come up, but this is effect my overall stay. 

But the hotels is located in a great position and offers a free shuttle services that takes you to the bridge (which is a bonus if you are looking to go to the breach.

Both bars were very good, with polite, chatty and make our overall experience 10/10. Special mention has to go to Charles at the Elev8 pool bar who was friendly, witty and happy share his knowledge of the Ft L area. He is a real credit to the hotel. 

Great location, polite staff, modern rooms

Good location, new construction, everithing went well. The room was clean and all devices where working. Quite place, walking distance to Las Olas boulevard and close to the channel and main atractions. 

Good Place to Stay

Great location and exceptional staff . The bed was very comfortable and the amenities in the hotel were fantastic . I would highly recommend staying at the Hyatt centric when visiting Fort Lauderdale . 

There’s downtown and then there’s downtown. This Hyatt is impeccably located right on Las Olas entertainment district but ALSO adjacent to the Riverwalk. I literally walked to my boat every day and left the vehicle at home. WELL DONE. 
ps. The food is surprisingly GOOD. 

Downtown Centric

Excellent hospitality! Gracious staff, amenities and service. Our beautiful view was above the pool. The room, bed, shower, and choice of pillow types were wonderful. Shambria at the front desk made us feel like family.

Fort Lauderdale Wedding.

Staff and property very accomodating; great location and mostly full service.  Positive experience and would stay at this property again in the future.  Very clean, beds were very comfortable.  Bathrooms were updated and clean.

Very clean and efficient for business meeting

We held a meeting in this hotel and I cannot say enough about the staff and their attention to every detail in making our meeting a success. The hotel itself is wonderful, clean, modern and full of great amenities. It is the experience with every member of the staff at the hotel that made it stand out for me. Highly recommend this property!  

Fantastic Service!

I asked if our room could be changed to a different view and by the time we got back from being out and about, our bags were already in the new room. The front desk people are always great there and the valets were nothing short of amazing. The rooms are always in tip top shape. The Hyatt centric will continue to be my go to hotel for visiting Fort Lauderdale.

Fort Lauderdale Hyatt centric stay

We originally were to go to Naples, but with the hurricane they had problems at the hotel & 5th ave so we made arrangements to go to Fort Lauderdale and we were very pleased with the hotel but disappointed about $33. a night for parking.

This was my 1st time staying at Hyatt property. I can say I will be returning everything was better than I expected. Glad I gave it a try look forward to visiting again. Loved the outdoor poolside bar. 

Beautiful property

Beautiful and clean hotel.  Rooms and bathrooms were big.  Very friendly staff. I was there for a business event.  Food served at the event was very good. The hotel is situated within walking distance of several restaurants.

Please note the valet staff are not members of the Hyatt brand. Issue with damage to my car. Completely dealing with a 3rd party company that’s a nightmare. Poor reflection on the Hyatt Brand. You guys need to do better. 

Valet damaged car.

If you don't mind staying at a hotel that is more like a dog kennel than a fine hotel, this is the place for you. Constant dogs barking, dogs fighting in the lobby, dogs in the restaurant (some even at the bar in the laps of the owners!), dog urine in the elevator, etc. The hotel does list that it is a pet-friendly hotel, unfortunately they don't mention that it is NOT a human-friendly hotel.

High-priced Dog Kennel

I was extremely disappointed with the service at this hotel and with all of the hidden fees. I travel to this hotel because I was having surgery at a nearby hospital. My husband while I was in surgery went to check in and the room was not ready until almost 5 PM and I was already out of surgery. Valet was asked to please have a wheelchair ready when I arrived back at the hotel there was no wheelchair. It took a while for them to retrieve one and when they did they did not open it or set it up they just ruled it over to my husband who had to figure out how to put it together. After putting it together the legs on the wheelchair were also broken and no one offered to help us up to our room. 

A lot of hidden fees

The Hyatt Centric is a great location . You can walk to the best restaurants and lounges. It sits right by the Riverfront which is beautiful. There is a lot to see and do in the area. The hotel was very clean and the décor is beautiful throughout, The bed and pillows was very comfy we did not want to climb out. Every day we walked out of the room someone was cleaning something.. I will return and I recommend Hyatt
