    "One of a kind!"

The Beekman is one of a kind. Not only is the hotel beautiful but the staff goes above and beyond in every way. It is definitely a place that everyone should try to experience. We hope to be back in the future.

    "Excellent Property"

From the moment I checked in to the online checkout, everything was a pleasure. The staff warm, helpful and polite. Amenities were lovely - room classic old school and exceptionally clean. The location was central to all that lower Manhattan has to offer.

    "Unforgettable!"

Celebrating a milestone birthday, we didn't want just another hotel. The Beekman did not disappoint. From the moment we arrived by the welcoming doorman to the front desk, bell man and bar/restaurant staff, our stay was fantastic. If you are looking for a hotel with character and history this is it! Situated in the Fi Di in lower Manhattan, the subway is a 3 min walk away, The Beekman is easily accessible and a 40 min trip by cab from LGA. Plenty of good restaurants and breakfast places in the area as well as Seaport Museum and dock with view of the Brooklyn Bridge. We ate at the hotel restaurant and it was excellent. Rated sleep quality 4 out of 5 cos it's the middle of NYC not a mountain resort!

    "Great place to stay!"

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Beekman. The staff were knowledgeable, helpful, and very pleasant to interact with. We liked the proximity to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island ferries and the World Trade area.

    "Favorite hotel in the US"

I am always thrilled to come back to the Beekman. The staff are always so helpful and dependable and the food and beauty of the hotel and restaurant always excels. I've had the pleasure of staying there on 4 separate occasions (4 separate years) and I always can't wait to come back.

"Great place for business or leisure travelers!"

Lots of positives with this hotel! Architecture - Gorgeous inner atrium, beautiful restaurant with cushy chairs and couches. Service - nearly everyone we interacted with was great - the doorman, the front desk staff, the room manager, housekeeping and most of the restaurant staff. Rooms - We stayed in a corner suite with 2 adults and 2 kids - there was a small sitting area with a fold out and a separate bedroom (each with TVs if that matters to you) - it was a little tight for us but would be fine with a couple. The bathroom was very large though with a separate rainfall shower and a tub on the other side of the room as well as double sinks (I believe it was ADA compliant so not sure if every corner suite bathroom is the same.) Restaurant - We only ate breakfast there twice so can't comment on lunch/dinner, but breakfast was really good. Great croissants and the breakfast sandwich and yogurt parfait were amazing. It was expensive but not unusual for a hotel restaurant and especially one affiliated with Tom Colicchio. My only quibble was with the brioche french toast - tasty for sure but one piece of index card sized bread does not really seem like $21 is fair - maybe if you added some bacon or sausage or made it 2 pieces?? (The breakfast sandwich was good sized with a generous portion of potatoes for the same price so just seemed weird.) Just from walking through/by it did seem to be a bar scene with a good vibe. Gym - Huge plus if that's important to you - good selection of cardio, weights, and machines over 2 floors and there was a Peloton with the opportunity to borrow shoes I believe. Location - Very convenient for FiDi and walking distance to WTC museum and memorial, and close to Brooklyn Bridge. Just around the corner from the Fulton St. station for subway access. Definitely bars and restaurants within walking distance, as well as Starbucks and a CVS close by. FWIW, we stayed using AmEx points and they were definitely up to speed on the benefits and applied the breakfast and food and beverage credits with no problem. All in all, a great experience - not sure I would go there with my teen and tween unless we sprung for the penthouse (LOL) but I do think it's a very good hotel.
