Check-in begins at 4:00 PM and check-out is at 11:00 AM. Early check-in and late check-out may be available based on availability. To make a request, please contact our Guest Experience Team prior to arrival.
A daily resort fee of $76.00 (subject to change) is applied to each room of your stay in order to provide services and amenities, which enhance the guest experience. Please contact the hotel directly for more information.
A daily Service Charge of $21.78 (tax included) will be added to your rate for all room nights.
This Service Charge is distributed fully to Resort personnel as a gratuity. Guests may provide a voluntary tip to Resort personnel in addition to the Service Charge. Such charges may be subject to taxes in effect at the time of your stay.
Our Bell Team is happy to assist with luggage storage before check in or after check out. For added comfort, guests also have access to our Departure Lounge, complete with showers and lockers, so you can freshen up and relax before your flight.
Due to exorbitant costs of freight, brokerage fees, customs duty and VAT associated with shipping to The Bahamas, we strongly advise that guests do not send personal packages to Grand Hyatt Baha Mar ahead of their stay. Guests are advised that all costs associated with shipping to the resort will be charged to the card on file.
Rooms & Amenities
All guest rooms, suites, and villas feature plush beds and floor-to-ceiling windows with stunning views of the ocean, island, or fountain show. Please note that our entry-level standard rooms offer limited or no views. For added comfort, West Tower suites include a full kitchen, washer, and dryer perfect for families. Guests staying in Reserve suites enjoy elevated amenities such as a private check-in desk, exclusive lounge access, and butler service available in select two-bedroom residences in the East Tower and poolside villas.
Most of our guest rooms are designed with business-friendly features, including spacious layouts, comfortable workspaces, and high-speed internet, making it easy to stay productive while enjoying paradise.
Hypoallergenic bedding and pillow options are available upon request. Simply contact our Guest Experience Team before or during your stay, and we’ll ensure your accommodations are tailored for comfort.
Housekeeping service is provided every other day. If you prefer daily service, simply contact our Guest Experience Team and we’ll be happy to accommodate your request based on availability.
Accessibility is a priority at Grand Hyatt Baha Mar. We offer accessible guest rooms with mobility features, including doorways with at least 32 inches (0.81 m) of clear width. Assistive listening devices are available upon request for meetings and events. Guest rooms are equipped with text telephones (TTY) and closed-captioning or decoders for televisions. Around the resort, you’ll find accessible pathways, entrances, and facilities designed to ensure a comfortable and inclusive experience for all guests.
All guest rooms are equipped with a mini fridge for your convenience. Our West Tower suites offer a full-size refrigerator, perfect for extended stays or guests who prefer more space for refreshments.
Room service is available 24 hours a day, so you can enjoy delicious meals and refreshments in the comfort of your room anytime.
Rollaway beds are available for a one-time charge of $65. Please note that they can only be accommodated in our one- and two-bedroom suites. To request one, kindly contact our Guest Experience Team prior to arrival.
Parking, Travel & Transportation
Lynden Pindling International Airport (NAS) is the closest airport to Grand Hyatt Baha Mar. It’s conveniently located just 6 miles from the resort, making your arrival and departure quick and easy.

Taxis are available from the Grand Hyatt’s Main Front Drive. The cost is $25-40 each way. Please note the cost varies based on the number of people and the amount of luggage. Note that taxis vary in condition, and many do not take credit cards. Both U.S. dollars and Bahamian dollars are accepted

There are no car rental agencies located directly at Grand Hyatt Baha Mar. However, major providers such as Avis, Hertz, and Budget offer convenient rental services at Lynden Pindling International Airport, just a short drive from the resort
Valet parking is available for $25 and includes in-and-out privileges. Please note that payment must be made by debit or credit card or room charges only; we do not accept cash. Restaurant visits do not qualify for valet validation.
Hotel Facilities
The Baha Mar Property is home to two world-class, full-service spas: ESPA and Sense, A Rosewood Spa. Both offer a wide range of treatments including massages, facials, body therapies, and nail services for both men and women.

Pools and Baha Bay waterpark are open year-round but close at sunset which varies depending on daylight savings time.
WiFi & Digital
Grand Hyatt Baha Mar provides complimentary wireless internet throughout the resort, including guest rooms. High-speed internet is available and generally reliable for streaming and work-related needs.
All guest rooms are equipped with smart TVs that support streaming services. Guests can enjoy in-room entertainment by logging into their personal accounts on accessing popular platforms like Netflix, YouTube, and more.
Families & Groups
Connecting rooms are available and can be guaranteed for an additional fee. To request connecting accommodations, please contact our Guest Experience Team in advance of your stay.
Grand Hyatt Baha Mar is a family-friendly resort offering a variety of amenities for children. Cribs and High Chairs are available upon request.
Most restaurants on property offer kids menus and children aged 5 and under eat free at select restaurants when accompanied by a paying adult.
Kids can enjoy free resort activities such as wildlife encounters, beach activities and arts and crafts. Please check the Baha Mar Compass for more information. All Baha Mar guests have complimentary access to Baha Bay Waterpark featuring slides, a wave pool, kids zone and a lazy river—perfect for all ages. The Explorers Kid’s Club offers games, cultural experiences, and educational fun for a fee (for kids ages 3 and above, based upon availability).
With 200,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor event space, including the award-winning 82,000-square-foot Baha Mar Convention, Arts & Entertainment Center, our luxury resort and casino is equipped to handle conferences and gatherings of all sizes. Pets
We are happy to welcome your traveling canine companions. To participate in the pet program, please inform the hotel you’ll have a pet (or pets) staying with you at least three days before your arrival.
- Damages to the room will be billed on a case-by-case basis.
- Owner will provide a cell phone number to locate guest in event of an emergency. Under extreme circumstances, dog may be moved to a kennel.
- Dogs must be settled by 9:30 p.m.
- We regret that pets are not allowed at the golf course or in the food and beverage outlets, health club or pool areas of the hotel. Service animals WITH DOCUMENTATION are an exception to this policy.
- Dogs must be walked in designated areas.
- Any noise disturbance must be curtailed to ensure the comfort of other guests.
- Room attendants are not allowed to enter guest rooms with pets, unless the occupant is present.
- For your convenience, please call housekeeping to arrange a suitable time to have your room serviced.
Fees: To ensure a comfortable visit for all, we ask that you adhere to the following guidelines:
- A one-time mandatory cleaning fee of $250 for a 1–6-night stay.
- A one-time mandatory cleaning fee of $300 for a stay of 7 nights or more.
In addition, a credit card must be presented at the time of check-in to guarantee against any damages or soiled carpets/soft goods in the room.
Weight Limit:
Only dogs that are housebroken and do not exceed 50 pounds or two dogs under a combined weight of 75 pounds are permitted. Two dogs per guest room or suite.
Booking & Policies
Rescheduled accommodations will be in an equivalent room category to the one originally booked. Accommodation of same room category is not guaranteed and is subject to availability. Other expenses, including but not limited to, pre-arrival bookings such as hotel transportation, kids club, etc., will be refunded. Airline ticket holders are subject to airlines’ policies and guidelines.
This policy does not apply to group bookings. Group booking cancellations will be held in accordance with the group sales contract. This policy is for individual travel booked directly with Hyatt; it does not apply to bookings via third parties, tour operators or resellers. Bookings made through these entities must contact their original booking source for information on the hurricane policy for their reservation.
