Q: Can I create my own menu?

A: Yes, our special events team, along with our celebrated culinary team, will work with you to create a menu that reflects that your style and wishes. In addition to our seasonal offerings, inspired by the tastes and flavors of Blue Duck Tavern, we offer the only dedicated luxury hotel kosher kitchen in the city, as well as our own in-house pastry team.

Q: Can I taste my food selections prior to the wedding?

A: Certainly! A complete tasting of your selected menu items, including your cake, will be scheduled several weeks prior to your wedding. At that time, we can make any necessary adjustments.

Q: How long will my reception last?

A: Generally, a wedding reception is planned for five hours, beginning with the cocktail hour. You can extend the time if desired. Our wedding specialist will advise any extra costs for the additional time.

Q: Can I have an open bar at the wedding?

A: Yes, all of our packages are designed to include a five-hour open bar service, along with dinner wine served tableside and a complimentary signature cocktail.

Q: Can I host a morning-after brunch or a rehearsal dinner at the hotel?

A: Absolutely! We have several locations in our redesigned Gallery level that are appropriate for these occasions.

Q: Are taxes and service charges included in the pricing?

A: No, your contract pricing will not include taxes and service charges. Please remember, pricing is not final until a signed contract is returned to our Special Events Sales Manager.

Q: Can I decorate the reception room?

A: Allow us to give you ideas and suggestions that have successfully worked in the past. Of course, our wedding guru will be happy to assist you in acquiring anything we may not have readily available.
