Our name originates from the Dutchman Fredrik Reiss who ran a semi-legal coffeehouse in the 1750s. Since then, the building has been used as storehouse, drinking den and an epicentre for some of the most prominent poets and writers in European history. Today, timeless local delicacies are served in style, with views over the water towards Skeppsholmen. Classic Swedish dishes with our modern touch deliver mouth-watering meals to locals and guests from across the world. Dine with us as many have done so over the past hundreds of years.
