Laurea’s interior is a combination of large-scale 20th century modern design combined with the comfort of rustic Italian restaurant in Princeton, NJ. A towering steel bar structure with cascading light installation is balanced by weightless fabric pergolas floating just overhead along with overflowing planters and piazza-style string lighting. The central bar in Princeton, NJ is surrounded by the warm glow of a pizza oven, an energetic exhibition kitchen, communal and intimate dining, and contemporary wine and private dining rooms with hand-painted antique mirrors. The artwork throughout the spaces is comprised of both original, hand-painted mural art and prints, all inspired by whimsical vintage Italian food and liquor posters of the 1930’s.
