Caring for the planet is a natural extension of Hyatt’s purpose—to care for people so they can be their best. Below are specific examples of environmental stewardship at our hotel.

Overview

  • Sustainability is daily at the heart of our reflections of each department of the hotel: in the kitchen, in our back offices and for our housekeeping teams that do not use any chemical cleaning product in room (except disinfectant when necessary) – just dry steaming. Our staff is regulary sensitized to the respect of the environment. 
  • We use Hyatt EcoTrack to monitor sustainability metrics including gas emissions, energy, water, waste, and recycling.
  • All rooms are offered a way to reduce the amount of towels and bed linen that need to be washed.

Carbon Emissions and Water

  • Double-glazing windows have been installed on the highest floors to reduce airconditioning and heating needs. 
  • LED lighting has been installed everywhere in the hotel, along with water-efficient fixtures across all guest rooms. 
  • Housekeeping teams offer daily cleaning service, but will only replace sheets and towels after the third night, unless expressly requested by the client.

Waste and Circularity

  • All our departements work to reduce waste and plastic use whenever possible, and strive to advance waste sorting and recycling. 
  • In meeting rooms, note paper and pens are offered at a central location, rather than at each table setting and water in large glass bottles is the default offering. 
  • We use bamboo cutlery and eco-contenairs for take-aways, and we offer biodegradable welcome amenities in guestrooms. 
  • No packaging is used for returning guest laundries unless requested otherwise. 
  • Mobile room entry solutions help us avoid plastic keys.
