Policies & FAQs

Can I bring in outside vendors?

Due to liability and legal restrictions, the hotel must supply and prepare all food and beverage items. Though we encourage you to choose from our Recommended Services list, you may bring in vendors that are not on our list. The hotel will not be responsible for these vendors hired. We require all vendors to be licensed and insured. All vendors are responsible for securing their own insurance with a minimum coverage of $1,000,000.00 and hold The Hyatt Regency Orlando harmless from any losses, insured, or uninsured. Such certificate must be presented to the hotel prior to the load-in, or entrance will be denied.

Deposits

A non-refundable deposit of 25% of estimated charges is due upon signing the contract. A second deposit of an additional 25% is due six months prior to the wedding date. The remaining balance of all estimated charges shall be paid 10 business days prior to the wedding. You may pay by debit, credit, or cashier’s check.

Fees and Taxes

All ceremony and reception package pricing is subject to a 26% taxable service charge and 6.5% tax.

Will I have a location inside if weather does not permit my wedding outside?

Yes, the hotel will reserve a space inside in case weather does not permit us to host your wedding outside. A collaborative decision will be made by the hotel, decorator, wedding planner, bride, and groom on the day of the wedding. The location will be determined the morning of the event.

What is the food and beverage minimum?

The food and beverage minimum is dependent on a number of factors, including your wedding size and venue selection. But the hotel will set a minimum that is comfortable and easy to achieve.

Can we create a custom menu for the event?

Yes, our world-class chefs and culinary experts will collaborate with you to create a unique menu for your event. Hyatt Regency Orlando is committed to creating menus that delight all tastes.

Will the hotel’s catering manager be present the day of our event?

Yes, to ensure a seamless and flawless event, the catering manager will be present to oversee banquet preparation and service execution, as well as coordinate all on-site internal operations.

Offer code HMOON must be requested at time of wedding inquiry, disclosed in signed wedding contract and offer is subject to hotel participation, availability of function space and guestrooms at time of booking.
