Average. Some staff great others below average and rude. Left waiting 30 mins after check in time for room and no apology or anything. Disappointing.

Great location, modern & clean. The rooftop area is amazing! Would recommend upgrading to a room with a Hollywood sign view if possible.

Beautiful hotel and very modern. Beautiful rooftop bar and restaurant and pool . Very good location for Universal Studiios . Only downfall was they couldn't give us a twin room for my 2 adult sons and they had to share a double for the duration. Lovely friendly staff and housekeeping superb

Great rooftop, sadly it stops there. Staff are embarrassingly uninterested in you, too casual, body language terrible and I raised a flag that someone was fighting in the room next to me and it was greeted with “oh”. Sadly it’s not a once off because I had this experience before I really thought it was unlucky the first time but sadly not. Avoiding next time.

Reasonable hotel in weird location. The location is quiet in the day, very noisy, and incredibly busy at night but the rooms are nice, modern and clean, our room faced the Hollywood sign which was a nice touch. The reception staff are surly and not quite what we expected from a Hyatt Hotel. Equally the service we received in the breakfast area wasn’t as expected. We waited 15 minutes for our server and then decided to leave to eat elsewhere. Overall, wouldn’t stay again, there are much nicer hotels in LA.

Sadly, I don’t recommend this hotel for anyone who requires foundational essentials. I arrived in the evening and the front desk person had a horrible odor and was disheveled. She never acknowledged me as a Hyatt member and clearly gave me the room that had issues intentionally. When I entered my room, I immediately noticed a heavy bleach smell, which then revealed, once dissipated, a foul stench from the bathroom drain. The room had someone’s hair in the bed, in the shower, and even on the glasses on the bathroom counter top (which were used previously but never replaced). No iron or ironing board either. When I went down stairs to check out from disgust, the concierge simply said, “you’re all set”, without even noticing that I was clearly checking out early. I asked if he could verify the email address he had on file for my folio. He then proceeded with a slight annoyance. Once he confirmed the email address, he then inquired why I was leaving. There were other guest waiting to check in so I didn’t want to make a scene—just wanted to confirm that I wasn’t going to be fully charged for entire stay. Between the cost of the room, the facility fee, incidental hold of $600, the experience, and quality of room staff, this was NOT worth it. This hotel is a motel 6 with an expensive dress on that doesn’t fit.

I was generally happy with my stay at Dream Hollywood. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were very attentive and friendly. My only dissatisfaction was the lack of drinking water supply near my room and I would have liked a coffee machine or kettle in the room.

Dream was a great spot for our birthday celebration weekend. It was close to so many things so it made walking very easy. Hotel staff was friendly and housekeeping was equally as welcoming. We would definitely stay again. We had read reviews about clubs and noise, and I would say if you do a marginal amount of research you can see that there is nightlife in the area. This was perfect for us, and the noise was really not that big of an issue. If you want to be where there is plenty to do and see, this is the place!

The Dream hotel was amazing with an a mazing room! I slept well every night even with loud busy street on Friday and Saturday night. The rooftop was amazing with amazing views of the city and the Hollywood sign. Breakfast and lunch was very good on the roof top as well. Decent, quiet gym. I wish I had more time here at the hotel.
