The Rizzo Center is ideal for business travelers, academic visitors, conference attendees, and guests seeking a quiet, refined stay. Couples and solo travelers looking for a relaxing, nature-inspired environment also find the property especially appealing.
Standard check-in time is 3:00pm, and check-out is 12:00pm. Early check-in and late check-out may be available upon request, based on availability. Please dial the front desk on the morning of your arrival and departure and ask to speak to a guest services agent at 919-913-2098.
The Rizzo Center does not charge a daily resort or destination fee. All standard amenities are included in your stay unless otherwise noted.

While the Rizzo Center is set apart in a quiet, wooded environment, it is a short drive from UNC-Chapel Hill, downtown Chapel Hill, and nearby business districts. Meadowmont Village, home to a mixed-variety of shops and restaurants, is located only a short walk from the property.
Rental cars are available at nearby locations. Please contact the front desk for further assistance. Guests may additionally experience the grounds of our beautiful 30-acre hotel through an abundance of trails for walking, running and biking. Ask a member of our Reservations Team about the bike rentals we offer.
We offer ample on-site, self-parking. Parking is complimentary for all guests. We do not offer valet parking.
A limited number of EV Parking spaces are available on-property in the guest parking lot. Please inquire to the Reservations Team for further assistance at 919-913-2098.
Hotel Facilities
The Rizzo Center does not have an on-site spa.
The Rizzo Center does not offer an all-day on-site restaurant and instead offers walk-in options for morning fare and late-night bites.
Meadowmont Grill offers complimentary breakfast for all overnight guests and is located on the first floor of McLean Hall. Its hours are 6:30am until 9:30am Monday to Friday and 6:30am until 10:30am Saturday and Sunday.
For additional dining options, Shaffer-Kenan Lounge, Rizzo's UNC-themed Sports Bar, offers a wide-selection of wines, local spirits, and delicious appetizers from our bar-fare menu. Shaffer-Kenan Lounge is located on the 1st floor in McLean Hall and is open daily from 5:30pm until 11:00pm.

Our outdoor heated lap-pool is heated and open year-round for guests to enjoy.
WiFi & Digital
Complimentary Wi-Fi is available throughout the property. Guests may connect by selecting RizzoRoadrunner and following the prompts to sign in to the network.
All guest rooms feature standard TV’s. A channel list can be access via the Guide and the Digital Compendium via QR-Code on guest keycards.
Guests may take advantage of Hyatt’s mobile check-in and digital services via the World of Hyatt app, where available. All keycards feature a scannable QR-code with up-to-date information regarding facilities, amenities and area attractions.

With 55-meeting rooms and 27,500 square feet of IACC-approved contemporary meeting space, the Rizzo Center specializes in hosting meetings, conferences and group events, offering flexible event spaces and dedicated planning support. While we do not offer wedding services such as ceremonies or receptions, we do offer pre-and-post wedding social events, such as rehearsal dinners, bridal luncheons and post-wedding departure brunches.
Pets
The Rizzo Center is not pet-friendly. Only service animals are welcome in accordance with ADA Guidelines.
