Traveling with Pets

At Andaz Peninsula Papagayo Resort, Costa Rica, we’re proud to be a pet-friendly hotel and welcome you and your furry friends to relax and have fun with us. Leashed pets are welcome to explore the property with you, though they are not permitted inside our restaurants. Fees

A $282.50 one-time fee includes use of bedding, meal containers, water and a deep clean upon departure.

Family Travel

Kids ages 0-4 years old eat free from the kids’ menu available in our four restaurants and Eat In

Kids ages 5-11 years old eat from the special kids’ menus that our chefs have prepared at each of our restaurants and Eat In. A 50% discount applies for the breakfast buffet at Rio Bhongo.

Food & Drinks Package

5-11 - 50% of meal plan cost

 12+ full meal plan cost

*The Food & Drinks Package is per person per night and it must be purchased for all of the guests who are registered in the room. The package must be applied to the full stay without interruptions.

Room Occupancy

The maximum occupancy per room is:

King-bed rooms: three adults or two adults and one child (under 11 years). Only one extra bed can be added to the room.

Double-bed rooms: four adults or two adults and two kids (both under 11 years). No extra beds can be added to the room.

A charge of $75.00 + tax and resort fee per adult will be added to the nightly rate for the third and/or fourth adult.

 

Resort Fee

Resort Fee: 12% per room, per night (taxable)

A Resort Fee will be assessed nightly.

Resort Fee covers the following—per day, per room:

  • Scheduled transportation throughout Peninsula Papagayo
  • Non-motorized water sports equipment at our activities (snorkeling, kayaking, and stand-up paddle boarding)
  • Fitness center access and amenities
  • Valet parking
  • CAMBI Kids Club
  • Local phone calls
  • Healthy minibar with sodas and snacks
  • Selected daily resort activities (additional costs may apply on certain activities)
