Pretty hotel, clean. lacks night time entertainment, shares shows with family and adult only side. Would be nice to have adult only night entertainment.
I've been to several all-inclusive resorts in the Caribbean, and this is my favorite by far. The friendliness and helpfulness of the staff is unparalleled. The resort is clean, easy to navigate, and there is plenty to do for folks of all ages. Lastly, the food is incredible! The quality and presentation of the dishes at each outlet is far-and-away the best I've experienced at an all-inclusive resort. Can't recommend enough!
The facility is fresh and exciting. Impressive on all levels. Plenty of space to entertain. The staff understand hospitality and are gifted with it. Food/Beverages are delicious and the decor and ambiance make it magical.
This was an amazing vacation and the food/service exceeded our high expectations. Blind Butcher was amazing. Lazy river was great. Service and wait times were perfect.
We recently stayed at Hyatt Zilara Cap Cana, and while there were a lot of things we enjoyed, there were also several aspects of the experience that fell short of our expectations. Starting with the positives, the staff throughout the resort were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The grounds are absolutely beautiful and very well maintained, and the food at most of the restaurants genuinely exceeded my expectations for an all-inclusive resort. These were easily the highlights of our stay. Unfortunately, there were a few frustrations that took away from the overall experience. The check-in process felt unnecessarily drawn out and overly focused on upselling. In particular, the constant promotion of The Blind Butcher became frustrating. I couldn’t even get a straightforward answer about the cost of upgrading to Club Level without first having to sit through another sales pitch for the restaurant. It wasn’t the welcome I would expect from a resort at this price point. Speaking of The Blind Butcher, it was easily the most disappointing part of our stay. The experience was extremely overpriced and overrated. There were far too many performances throughout dinner, to the point that they became distracting rather than entertaining. More importantly, the food was actually worse than what we enjoyed at the resort’s included restaurants, and the service was mediocre at best. For a restaurant positioned as a premium dining experience with an additional charge, I expected considerably more. Another disappointment was the cleanliness of our room. We noticed dirt and hair in multiple areas, which simply isn’t acceptable for a resort positioning itself at this level of luxury. While the common areas and grounds were beautifully maintained, that same attention to detail didn’t seem to carry over to the guest rooms. Ultimately, we enjoyed aspects of our stay, particularly the wonderful staff, beautiful property, and generally excellent food. However, the overall experience didn’t quite live up to the resort’s premium positioning. We booked our stay using Hyatt points, which made some of the shortcomings easier to overlook. Had we paid the advertised nightly cash rate, I would have been extremely disappointed with the value we received. Overall, it’s a beautiful property with genuinely great people, but the attention to detail, cleanliness, and guest experience need to improve to justify the prices being charged.
A premium experience at an all inclusive. We’re not buffet folks or big drinkers, so we may not be the tropical all inclusive couple. The restaurants (i think 11 or so) were all great. The value for us was the ease and simplicity of the vacation.
The atmosphere was lovely and peaceful. It was elegant but also relaxed. The details from the smell to the faculty uniforms and the furniture seemed to show that they went the extra mile. The entire experience felt like a dream. Will definitely come back!!
What a fabulous resort. We were there for a company incentive trip and it was perfect! The resort itself, the staff, the food, the rooms, the pools, the excursions, the pickleball… it could not have been better. We upgraded to a swim up room and I would highly recommend that upgrade!
This was the most incredible resort I have ever been to. The swim up pools, the grounds, the STAFF was beyond! It was unreal, every single person wanted to help you so much! Each and every restaurant was even more beautiful and impressive than the next! But the best was that I was given a Personal Concierge Chef due to dietary restrictions! Chefs JJ and Sebastian texted me for every single meal I was there asking what we wanted to eat, and what restaurant we wanted to eat at. Each morning I was greeted with "Good morning Fam! What would you like for breakfast!" I've never had my needs more anticipated or catered to! I truly felt like royalty!
Title: Another Great Stay at Hyatt Zilara Cap Cana My wife and I returned to Hyatt Zilara Cap Cana for the second time to celebrate our anniversary, and we had a wonderful week. We stayed in a corner Club Ocean View Junior Suite King, and honestly, the view was one of the best parts of our stay. Our balcony overlooked both the ocean and the resort, and we couldn’t have asked for a better room. We enjoyed the restaurants, the food, and simply having time to relax together. A special thanks to our personal concierge, Larisa. She was terrific throughout our stay—friendly, attentive, and always available when we needed something. We really appreciated her taking such good care of us. I’m an avid golfer, so I also took advantage of being close to Punta Espada Golf Club and played two rounds during our trip. Meanwhile, my wife was perfectly content enjoying the resort and getting some much-needed relaxation. Overall, we had a great anniversary trip. There’s a reason we decided to come back. Thanks to Larisa and the rest of the staff for making our stay so enjoyable!
