The Hotel La Compania is a destination all in itself. An outstanding property that takes you on a journey through time. Be sure to take a moment to view the historical photographs and prints throughout the guest corridors. The hotel team exceeded our expectations in every regard. The restaurants were a delight, and the location was ideal. We will be back.

La Compañia was one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in! Attention to detail in every moment. A lot of history and soul, but in a very contemporary set-up. Five restaurants, from budget-friendly to high-end, and still not overly expensive. Rooftop bar with a view of the Casco Cathedral, rooftop pool, and beautiful spa. Very antique entourage wine cellar, and even a library! Ahhh…and bed…I have never slept so well in a hotel! La Compania is not a hotel—it is the Experience!

I only wish I had discovered this gem sooner! From the moment I stepped through the doors, this hotel surpassed every expectation I had—and then some. The level of service was truly outstanding, with staff who were not only professional but genuinely warm and welcoming, making me feel like a valued guest from start to finish. Every detail of the hotel is thoughtfully curated, from the elegant and charming decor to the impeccable cleanliness throughout the property. My room was spotless and beautifully appointed, and the bed—oh, the bed!—was hands down one of the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in. It felt like sinking into a cloud after a long day of exploring. Dining was another highlight, with multiple restaurant options that each offered their own unique atmosphere and delicious cuisine. Whether I was in the mood for something casual or fine dining, the quality and presentation were always top-tier. This was, without a doubt, a true five-star experience in every sense of the word. Thank you to the entire team for making my stay so unforgettable—I can’t wait to return!

La Compania made us feel at home. We came for relaxation and this hotel provided. Enough restaurant choices to satisfy our tastebuds. Documentary on room tv about the renovation of the building gave us a better appreciation of details thru out the hotel.

Excellent property, very well kept, comfortable room, very good restaurants/bars, friendly and helpful staff. Central location in the Casco Antiguo with several attractions at walking distance. The Mother’s Day Brunch had a great variety of food, unlimited mimosas and live music.

Probably one of the nicest hotels we've ever stayed in. It was in the middle of everything we wanted to see, the building itself was beautiful and there was a history lesson throughout every wall. Although it was very upscale and we felt very pampered just staying there, we also felt like it respected the culture of Panama through exploring the history of the place and keeping the original architecture of the convent it once was. We would stay here again in a heartbeat! Oh and the breakfast was amazingly delicious!

From the moment we pulled up in a car, all the way until the second we drove away, our stay was incredible. We only had one night booked so that we were closer to the airport, but my entire family wished that we had stayed longer. Every need was anticipated, and we were very impressed with the level of service and facilities.

Truly exceptional hotel in the most perfect location! I did prefer our room on the interior courtyard. I am a very light sleeper and the one on the street side you do hear some noise. The rooms are gorgeous and very well appointed. We stayed in the Spanish wing and would highly recommend it! The hotel is a total experience with the best dining and service we experienced in Panama. El Santuario is a total must for dinner!! Our kids loved the food too! The catch of the day was fabulous!! We stayed at the Sofitel too and I would go back to La Compañia again and again!
