We stayed at the Fordson Hotel during a family trip to Oklahoma City, and it exceeded our expectations in every way! Traveling with young children can often feel chaotic, but the staff and amenities here made our stay smooth, relaxing, and fun. A few highlights from our trip: Spacious & Comfortable Rooms: The rooms were modern, spotlessly clean, and offered plenty of space for all our luggage. The blackout curtains were a total lifesaver for nap times! It’s rare to find a boutique-feeling hotel that combines chic, artful style with genuine, warm hospitality toward families with small children. We will definitely be back next time we’re in Oklahoma City!
Good location near the civic music hall. The hotel has such a nice vibe, high ceilings, great details. The rooms are chic and cute, clean, nice rooftop too. The service was excellent. Everyone was so nice. We will return.
Location could be closer to things, but the hotel and the pool and the restaurants were all great. It was a cool space to be. I'd be happy to stay again.
Hotel was in great location, free shuttle w/n 3-mile range very convenient. Love the history of hotel a former Ford Car Mfg facility and the beautiful artwork. Pool vibe is excellent and service top notch. Would certainly stay here again while visiting friends or doing business in OKC.
Mixed bag. Unique hotel with character, but unfortunately flaws for a "4-star hotel" were to glaring to overlook. The hotel is unique and has a certain amount of decorative charm, even if it is modern-industrial in nature. Upon arrival, we were surprised at the lengthy check-in process and how little the front desk attendant seemed to care. The valet process multiple times was delayed and the same front desk attendant even got involved in the drop off and retrieval of cars. Not once was there an apology or appreciation for patience or even a basic friendly greeting. The rooms are strangely laid out including massive floor to ceiling curtains which do not close all the way and let in rays of light. A flag pole chain clanked both nights of my stay and was loud enough to wake me multiple times. When first checking out the room, I noticed a toenail in the shower (yuck). And the shower faucets do not seem to allow much control over the temp of the water. The desk/dresser drawers had trash in them. On the plus side, the AC worked terrific and housekeeping did refresh each day of my stay. I like the history of the hotel and the fact it was different, but those reasons are not enough to warrant a return visit.
We loved staying at this hotel! The combination of hospitality and history makes it our most favorite hotel ever. Most travelers would probably not consider Oklahoma City a top tourist destination, but the Fordson Hotel puts this on the "must see" list!
Steeped in Ford history with a playful twist of taps in the style of steering wheels! Perfect fit for our R66 trip. Beautiful decor/modern art, clean, great service and location. Highly recommend.
This hotel was such a great find! The hotel restaurant was easily the best part. So incredible! The whole hotel had an amazing vibe but the room was extra cozy for a girls night. Definitely going back!
Walking into the lobby, my wife and I were surprised to find such elegance. Amazing room, friendly staff. Highly recommend!
The bathroom had a contact lens stuck to the wall when we arrived. The couch had a gross brown stain on it. The bath water was yellow no matter how long you let it run. The mini fridge did not work. "City view" is just a view of apartments. When I booked my room, I paid extra for a city view and private pool (there were options for no private pool) but I wanted that experience and the private pool doesn't exist. The only pool is one that is technically open to the public because we found out later that people can buy day passes to the pool. We were unable to enjoy the pool due to too many people being there (pool is also very small). The price I paid for the stay was too high for what was offered. The only nice thing was the room was pretty and the ceiling was high. The noise from the hallway was terrible and woke me up at 5 am and continued for the rest of the day so I barely got to sleep after a night out with friends.
