As part of the Driskill Mezzanine, the Austin Room offers 390 square feet of space and room for intimate meetings of 12 to 30 attendees.

With 759 square feet of space, the Crystal Room was once part of the hotel’s former design. Dazzling chandeliers create a supremely elegant backdrop for a range of events, hosting anywhere from 25 to 80 attendees.

Located within the Driskill Mezzanine group, the Jim Hogg Parlor features 667 square feet of space and room for 16 to 50 attendees depending on the venue configuration.

The Governor’s Boardroom is grouped within the Driskill Mezzanine, and offers 364 square feet of space. 15 Attendees can comfortably gather here in a conference-style setup.

The pinnacle of luxury events are held within the Driskill Ballroom, with a vaulted trompe l’oeil dome that took three months to complete and crystal chandeliers. Once the hotel’s Grand Salon, today the ballroom continues to host opulent balls and distinguished functions, with 2,501 square feet of space and room for 60 to 230 attendees depending on the room configuration.

This stunning 510-square-foot venue once was home to a private men’s club; today, it boasts a location in the 1929 tower addition, and is an ideal space for downtown Austin business events and wedding receptions for up to 50 attendees, all while retaining a historic Texas club feel.

This Victorian-style café is ideal for cocktail receptions or private dinners for up to 70 guests. Offering 1,275 square feet of event space, this venue features beautiful stained glass windows, quaint connecting patio space and a backdrop of Austin’s famed downtown.

Located on The Mezzanine level on the Tower side of the hotel, this event space offers 1,872 square feet for classroom setup meetings, or banquets and receptions for up to 150 attendees. This event venue features an opulent ambiance of yellow and gold touches, and has the ability to connect to the historic Citadel Club.

Adorned with a color palette of gold and white, the Maximilian Room features unique accents such as eight lavish gold leaf mirrors, originally discovered in the 1930s. This charming space has since been converted into an area for premium dining events, with 1,500 square feet of space and room for 20 to 100 attendees.

Spanning the second floor of our hotel, the 5,634-square-foot Driskill Mezzanine event space has played host to downtown Austin’s most elegant social events, political functions, and much more. Elegant décor, painted marble columns, and a piano up the ambience for one-of-a-kind events with up to 1,000 attendees.
