Very good location next to the Chong Nonsi tram station. Staff is nice and accommodating. Requested services such as extra towels, bell or iron were received quickly. Check-in was somewhat underwhelming. Breakfast was well prepared and served quickly.

Located in the most iconic high-rise buildings, The Standard exceeded every expectation. The corner suite (1705) is outfitted with an enormous bed with views overlooking the city. The bathroom was enormous, and the spa-like shower and tub room was a really nice treat after a day of exploring. The gym is one of the nicest I have seen in a hotel, and the pool is private with great service! Don’t miss the morning breakfast! The buffet is delicious!

Everything about The Standard was excellent. Amazing staff, food, property, etc. Would recommend highly for anyone visiting Bangkok!

Great location near skytrain, largely covered so can avoid rain. Hotel has great service, always someone around if you. Wed it and helpful. Really thoughtfully and beautifully designed hotel - art, color and views. Room was the standard long and was perfect for 1-2 people. Stunning view

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at The Standard, Bangkok Mahanakhon. From the moment I arrived, I felt completely relaxed and welcomed. The location is fantastic, and the hotel itself has such a wonderful atmosphere. My room was extremely comfortable, and the bed was fantastic — I had a great night's sleep. The staff were exceptional throughout my stay. They were attentive, friendly, enthusiastic and genuinely seemed to care about making sure guests had a great experience. I would particularly like to mention Phon at reception, who was absolutely amazing. Phon was incredibly friendly, welcoming and helpful, and always greeted me with a genuine smile. Her warm and enthusiastic personality really stood out and made me feel very welcome. The whole environment of the hotel is relaxing, stylish and enjoyable. I stayed for six nights and honestly could have stayed even longer. It was such a lovely and relaxing experience. I will definitely be returning. Thank you to the entire team for a wonderful stay and for making my time at The Standard so enjoyable and memorable. I’m already looking forward to my next visit!

The doorman is the first impression of a hotel, and it’s so important. Unfortunately, they were not very welcoming or helpful with the car and luggage, which wasn’t the standard I expected. That said, the reception team were absolutely adorable, warm and lovely.

Great stay. Comfortable and modern. Great restaurants and I enjoyed breakfast as well. Would definitely come back when I visit again.

We went there because we want to celabrate our wedding aniversary with my wife and kids, The key decision is the uniqueness of design and location. We found that the experience was very good. The room and decoration were as we expected. Comfy bed, nice bathroom and almost everything you need in the room or the services could bring what you request to you. The pool was not fantastic but it has nice view to take a nice photo. What we really beyond our expectation (the room and decoration were great) are as follows: 1. Breakfast: this is totally less is more. It does not seem to have the most variety but everything I love were there. Eggs, bacons, joke etc were there and at the quality of the hotel should be. Not something cooking by part-time cook. 2. We got free tickets to visit the rooftop bar of the tallest buildings in Thailand. The view was fanstastic. Too bad that it was just after heavy rain so it was a bit messy. It was a cool place to drink but the price there was bloody. 3. Staff service was very good. The check-in process took very long time and we could not get another room from our booking (we book 2 rooms). We finally had another room like 17:00. However, they made it up by providing a complementary sparkling wine and our drink at the pool. Therefore, I indicated that they care but it might be something unexpected. Overall manner of staffs were great as well. To be fair, this are what I do not like 1. Check-in procedure seems weird. I check-in multiple 5 star resorts (ok but not in Bangkok) and it did not make me boring. About another room, I think there was some communication gap between front and housekeeping. We were reported that the housekeeping was working on it for almost 2 hours with no result even I follow up personally. Anyway, really appreciated that they made up for it. 2. They really encourage valley parking. I use to drive and park my own car so this feel weird in some way. And maybe this is just for me, valley parking seems to use some extra effort and staff seems expecting tip. However, I hate to tip because of the system drive me to tip (unlike for waiter that I am happy to tip anyone who performs). If the hotel has no option but to do valley parking, they the staff there should be better train. It was not that obvious but I know. Comparing to some restaurant that they behave somehow that they do not expect tip, this was clear to me (even I tip the waiter at that restaurant coz I happy with his performance). If I want to tell you, it worth a visit for a night or two for Bangkokian who wants to celebrate special occation as well as a tourist. I really hope I just was a bad luck in that check-in drama and I would take BTS coz the traffic was bad anyway. Anway, I Hi-5 the shift manager who understands how to do to claim your angry customer down lol.
