Resort Fee Policy

A daily resort fee of $68.00 (subject to change) is applied to each room of your stay in order to provide services and amenities, which enhance the guest experience. Please contact the hotel directly for more information.

Incidental Policy

A valid credit card must be presented when checking in. The card will be authorized for room, tax and an additional $150 per night for incidentals. For debit card users, funds will be held as a pending charge and will be temporarily unavailable. Any unused authorization will be released 7–10 business days after checkout, depending on your banking institution.

Smoke-Free Resort

Park Hyatt Aviara does not allow smoking in any rooms. Rooms that are found to be in violation of this policy will be charged a one-time smoking fee of $500.

Parking Policy

Arrive in style and enjoy valet parking at our resort in Carlsbad, California. A limited number of EV charging stations are available, subject to availability. Self-parking is not available. Valet parking is $68 for an overnight stay or $55 for daily parking.

Photography Policy

Pools and Waterslides

The Ocean View Pool (for adults) and the Splash Pool (for families) are open 6 a.m.–10 p.m. daily. The waterslides and slide pool are open 11 a.m.–4 p.m. Sunday–Thursday and 11 a.m.–5 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. To use the waterslide, guests must be over 4 feet tall or 3.5 feet tall with a flotation device. The maximum weight to use the waterslide is 300 pounds.

Pet Policy

Park Hyatt Aviara welcomes up to two dogs with a combined weight of no more than 75 pounds. Individual dogs may not exceed 50 pounds. There is a charge of $150 per 7 nights, and additional charges may apply for excessive damage or cleaning. We welcome guests with disabilities traveling with their service animals. Service animals are not pets and are not subject to this pet policy and associated fees. For more information, please contact the hotel.
