My wife and I were traveling to South Africa for a vacation. We flew into Johannesburg for 3 night and stayed at the Park Hyatt as part of our trip. At this point I've stayed at 3 Park Hyatts and each one is a little different. This particular Park Hyatt was located right in the middle of the city and had a very boutique feel to it. The entire Hotel only has 32 rooms. The rooms are decent size and very well organized. The bathroom in particular had a spa feel to it. We had dinner and breakfast at the on-site restaurant. Both meals were excellent.After dinner one night the chef came over and asked us how we enjoyed our meal. The customer service in particular is outstanding. The staff constantly anticipated our needs an did everything they could to make our stay as comfortable as possible. They also do an excellent job of recognize World of Hyatt members with a special emphasis on Globalists. As I mentioned, the Hotel has a very centralized location in the city. It's always ~0.5 mile from a real nice mall/shopping area. There's also a coffee shop and pharmacy a block away.

This is a boutique hotel only 32 rooms and they make you feel safe and comfortable. They welcomed us with a cold beverage, which was nice after a long flight. The young butler gave us a tour of hotel and even a personal escort to the mall with umbrella so I stayed shaded while we walked. I appreciated they anticipated our needs. The food was delicious. I wish we could have stayed longer. Beware the beds are so comfy with a wide variety of pillows to choose from, you may never want to leave your room to see Joburg.

This will no doubt be my go-to hotel in Johannesburg. Friendly and fantastic staff, beautiful rooms and ambience as well as a superb restaurant makes for a brilliant experience. The airport transfer service is also a great addition with fantastic, friendly drivers in lovely new Mercedes cars. The restaurant also hosted a great business dinner with a great selection of food and drink all well priced.

The Park Hyatt Johannesburg is a 24 karat diamond in one of the best locations in the city. I have stayed in other high end hotels in Johannesburg and none can exceed the overall experience of your stay like the Park Hyatt! If you need an excuse to visit this vibrant city: a stay at the Park Hyatt suffices.

Amazing find! Lovely boutique Hotel with amazing service, beautiful rooms with high quality finishes and provisions but most of all we loved the food!! We will definitely be back!!

The Park Hyatt Johannesburg is a unique and oasis, in the middle of J'Burg. We enjoyed our stay so much, it was difficult to go out and explore, as we were truly just getting away and enjoy the break! It is well situated in the city, safe and secure - every detail was catered to, the facilities, immaculate, the staff caring and genuinely interested in our stay. i have stayed in many hotels over the past 30 years, traveling the world, but few experiences compared to Park Hyatt, at Johannesburg Thank you for creating such a wonderful memory - we will be back, as will our friends to whom we will certainly making such recommendations to!

My stay at Park Hyatt Johannesburg was nothing short of amazing. From the moment we arrived, the service was absolutely top-notch, warm, attentive, & genuinely personalized. Exceptional experience in a great facility with incredible client focused team. They were checking on us regularly to see if our stay was meeting our expectations and if we did not need anything else. Room was great and dinner and breakfast were excellent.
