There is plenty to experience during your stay! Being only steps away from the beach, you can spend time soaking in the sun, surfing the waves or wandering along the pier. Walking distance from Mission Pacific Beach Resort, you can find the Oceanside Museum of Art and California Surf Museum. Every Thursday, MainStreet Oceanside’s Sunset Market happens from 5-9pm where you can enjoy food, desserts, shopping and live entertainment. Lastly, at the Oceanside Habor you can enjoy water activities such as fishing, whale watching, paddleboarding and boat rentals.
Yes, the Rooftop Bar and Pool Deck located on the 6th floor of Mission Pacific Beach Resort evolves into a 21+ lounge environment at 9:00 p.m. daily. Thank you in advance for maintaining this policy. We invite families with kids or anyone under 21+ to experience Piper, The Shore Room, High/Low or Top Gun House, home of the Famous HIGH-pie, all steps away from The Rooftop Bar for a great evening option.
A few popular attractions in the area are the San Diego Zoo, Safari Park, Seaworld, Carlsbad Flower Fields, La Jolla Cove, Legoland, and Disneyland.
Oceanside’s culinary scene is constantly emerging as an array of eateries, pubs, and coffee shops are opening. A few restaurants walking distance from The Seabird are Craft Coast Beer & Tacos, Swamis Cafe Oceanside, and Ignite Coffee. On Coast Hwy, you can find many enjoyable restaurants and coffee shops, including Local Tap House and Pacific Coast Spirits.

Yes, our ocean view rooftop pool is heated to ~82°F year-round. Pool deck hours vary by season, please check with our team ahead of your stay.
Experience The Beach Rambler located on The Strand; a 1941 fully restored George T. Hall airstream providing a one-stop shop for beach essentials. Enjoy a curated selection of retail, sundries and locally-sourced snacks along with beach chairs, umbrellas and day bed rentals to make for the perfect beach day.
Yes! Our fitness center is open 24/7. You can expect to find all Technogym Equipment, as well as a Peloton.
The Rooftop Bar evolves into a 21+ lounge environment at 9:00 p.m. daily. Please be prepared to present a valid ID upon entry.
Please note:
- Any identification suspected or determined to be fraudulent will result in the denial of entry to the venue.
- Expired identification will not be accepted and will result in the denial of entry to the venue.
- Guests who appear visibly intoxicated will be refused alcohol service and may also be denied entry to the premises.
Parking, Travel & Transportation
Yes, valet parking is $55 per night.
We do offer electric vehicle charging stations. Please note this service is not included in our parking fee. A full EV charge will cost guest an additional $20. Guests needing less than a 50% EV charge will cost $10.
No additional charges prior to 6pm.

Yes, the Oceanside Transit Center is just a few feet away from The Seabird Ocean Resort & Spa, offering Amtrak’s Pacific Surfliner and Metrolink.
One of the best ways to get around town with public transportation is with the North County Transit District. The Coaster travels between the Oceanside Transit Center to San Diego and the Sprinter travels East to Escondido. Take advantage of Oceanside’s free EV shuttle: gO’side operating from 10 A.M. to 10 P.M., 7 days a week in the Downtown Oceanside corridor.
Rooms & Amenities
Your room is equipped with a beverage cooler. The temperature of the beverage cooler is about 45-50 degrees. Please be wary of storing medication or foods that need to be kept at a refrigerated level.
Yes, we offer a full service clean after your third night/fourth day. On the other days, we will do a light service such as remaking the bed with the same sheets, remove trash and replacing coffee and towels.
There are reusable water bottles in your room as a gift to you! On each floor, we have an ice machine and alkaine water station by URBNWATER CO.
Yes! The robes, canvas bags, slippers, Apothia shampoo, conditioner, wash and lotion are all available for purchase. Contact the front desk for more information.

Our bell services are available to you 24-Hours per day. We can conveniently hold your luggage upon your arrival and have it delivered to your room once it becomes available. Should you need assistance upon your departure, we can also hold your luggage until you are ready to depart. For a quicker service, we can load up your vehicle if you valet with us.
Yes, we provide a laundry bag and price listings located in your guestroom closet. Clothes collected by 8AM will be returned the same day by 6PM, Monday through Saturday. Overnight express service is available upon request Monday through Friday.
Do not leave valuables unattended in your room. Please place all valuables in the in-room safe. Hotel liability is limited to California Civil Code 1860.
Traveling with someone who wanted to tag-a-long to your trip with us? Rollaway Beds are available for additional cost of $40 per night. Rollaway Beds are only permitted in any of our King, Partial Kings, Full Ocean Kings, Studios, and our Suites. Due to emergency regulations, a rollaway bed is not permitted in any of our queen rooms. Inflatable mattresses are also prohibited in any of our guest rooms.

Please note early check-in requests are based on availability. We advise you guarantee early check-in ahead of arrival. Early check-ins are not available on holiday weekends, Saturday(s) or Sunday(s) from June 1 – Labor Day.
After 11 AM, a late checkout fee may apply.
All you need is a Valid form of Government Issued ID or Passport with a matching name on a credit or debit card. Guest arriving to complete the check-in must be an authorized individual on the reservation.
Packages can be conveniently delivered to our properties. We kindly ask that the shipping label contains the following information to ensure your package gets delivered quickly and safely:

To guarantee your reservation, we require a deposit based on the rate or promotion booked.
A non-refundable policy applies dependent on our cancellation policy. If you cancelled within your cancellation window, you are able to receive a full refund for full deposit taken. If you cancelled outside of our cancellation window, the hotel has every right to charge one-night Room + Tax as a cancellation penalty or Room + Tax for the full length of stay. Cancellations are subject to our Cancellation Policy agreed to upon the time of booking.
One night room + tax will be charged at the time of booking to guarantee your reservation. 24 Hours prior, your reservation is subject to a full-prepayment for your reservation.
We require cancellations be made 72 hours prior to original reservation date.
Our Hotel accepts the following methods of payment: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, and Diners Clubs. We are a cashless property. Apply Pay or Samsung Pay are methods of payment we may accept only at the time of departure. A credit card or debit card is still required upon check-in. Hyatt Gift Cards can be applied towards any charges made to a guest’s folio at checkout only.
We currently do not accept currency exchange transactions.

- Valid U.S. Passport and/or Passport Card
- Valid Military ID issued by the U.S. Department of Defense
- Valid Foreign Passport (Note: For international guests, California ABC only permits Foreign Passports as valid identification.)

At 9 PM, daily The Rooftop Bar located at Mission Pacific Beach Resort on the sixth floor transitions into a 21+ lounge environment.
A resort fee of $54 plus tax (subject to change) is applied per night per room in order to provide services and amenities that enhance the guest experience. Click here to view a full list of inclusions.
Pets
Yes, we are a dog friendly hotel! We require a non-refundable pet fee of $200. Dogs may not exceed 50 lbs each or 75 lbs combined. Two dogs per room allowed.
