Rooms are beautiful, confortable and clean. Although the noise insulation is not very good. The staff was helpful and friendly.
Such a cool hotel! Not many "boutique" hotels left to explore but this one is! The "Dia de la Muerta" theme of the room - it had a sugar skull carpet and gothic like decor - was really unique but; and this may not be everyone's cup of tea; the cemetary that is on the hill right behind the hotel and visible from my room, added an eery charm and is probably no more than coincidence but I personally thought it was very cool!
Cool Architecture, nice friendly staff, great decor. Bathroom felt upper class and well done. Wish they used good toilet paper - single ply makes no sense for an establishment like that. More towels and better shampoo would have been nice. But overall, the nice staff and the great decor and clean, comfortable, and modern furniture and shower made it a great experience.
I love this hotel. From the service to the high-end decor - the Hotel Nyack is an 11 out of 10! The lobby even has a custom scent that instantly reminds me of a luxury spa. I will definitely stay here often.
I visited te hotel for my 50 year high school reunion. I knew the former GM from stays at another property, although this was my first visit. The room was charming, with what should have been great views had the weather cooperated. The staff was attentive and welcoming, and it's proximity to the highway was helpful yet not noise intrusive. My only issue is that parking was rather far from any of the entrances. Other than than, great value, great room, great view, great location
"Excellent hotel with clean and well-maintained rooms. The restaurant served great food, and the service was wonderful. The staff was friendly and attentive throughout my stay."
Great experience; from check-in to the bar, restaurant , meeting space, room and check-out! I recommend staying here.
Not super clean. Below average on most things across the board in the room. Wasn’t horrible, but not worth the price in my opinion. Beds and pillows were very comfortable. Front desk staff at check in was short with us and quite rude. Wouldn’t stay here again in the future.
The rooms have barely anywhere to put clothes in. No microwave. Thin walls, heard neighbors constantly complaining mostly on the room and lack of places to put your clothes. You are okay if you only have one outfit and staying one night but otherwise you will be tripping over the luggage in your room. Lack of useful furniture. Electrical outlets were not working properly. Almost missed the brunch I was giving to my guests because the phone with my alarm didn't charge and instead was drained from the outlets. If there is more than one person staying in the room I would go somewhere else. The personnel at the Nyack were fine, they have no control how the Hyatt designs the rooms. This looks like it was originally a warehouse converted into a hotel. It is even hard to bring your luggage into the hotel because the doors are not electric and heavy to open when bringing luggage into and out of the hotel. Sorry I don't have pictures but we were to busy walking around are open three suitcases so we didn't trip
The pictures can be deceiving. Overall this did not seem like a typical HYATT experience. The elevators smelled of urine, the pool was small, the jacuzzi did not work, the gym had no towels, and the bugs in the pool and dining area were unbearable. There were lantern flies everywhere.
