Bratislava Carnival comes alive with a vibrant programme full of folklore, music, dance, and traditional masks. One of the key elements is the Carnival parade, featuring folklore groups, musicians, dancers, and characters in both traditional and playful masks.

The parade moves through the well-known streets of the Old Town, which for a while turn into an open-air stage filled with music, songs, and colours. The atmosphere is enhanced by live folklore performances, musical acts, and dance shows that present Shrovetide traditions in an authentic way.

The programme also offers space to meet friends, watch performances, or enjoy a pleasant walk through the city while experiencing this lively tradition in the streets of Bratislava.
