The first upscale boutique hotel in Anchorage, The Wildbirch Hotel is the ideal base camp for the full spectrum of Alaska adventure. Whether you’re here to chase the northern lights, discover Anchorage’s vibrant culture, or embark on an expedition, we authentically connect you to our local community and the wilderness that awaits you.
Art displays curated in partnership with the nearby Anchorage Museum offer guests authentic cultural immersion, while expansive meeting and event spaces provide ample means for connection. The Wildbirch Hotel perfectly embodies the rugged charm of the region, while providing guests with elevated accommodations and curated experiences for some of the state’s most notable outdoor activities and attractions.

Standard check-in is at 3:00 PM and check-out is at 11:00 AM.
Early check-ins and late check-outs may be available on a case-by-case basis depending on occupancy and are subject to additional fees.
Early check-in fees are a full previous night’s rate before 6:00 AM, half the nightly rate from 6:00 AM to 10:00 AM, $60 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, and $40 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
Late check-out fees, based on availability, are $20 for 1:00 PM, $40 for 2:00 PM, $60 for 3:00 PM, half of the day’s best available rate until 6:00 PM, and a full night’s rate after 6:00 PM. All fees are subject to applicable taxes.

Downtown Transit Center – Just a 5-minute walk from the hotel. This is the main hub for People Mover buses, connecting you to neighborhoods, shopping areas, and attractions throughout Anchorage.

Alaska Railroad Depot Step inside this 1917 landmark where Anchorage’s story began, just a short walk from The Wildbirch. The iconic blue-and-yellow trains departing from this station still carry travelers deep into Alaska’s backcountry, connecting you to glaciers, mountains, and remote towns inaccessible by road. Even the waiting room tells a story, with historic photographs documenting a century of journeys into the wilderness.
The main rental car hub for Anchorage is located at Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport (ANC). Most major rental agencies—including Avis, Budget, Enterprise, Hertz, and National—operate from this central facility.

Booking & Policies
Cancellation and deposit policies vary based on the confirmed rate and are provided at the time the reservation is made, including in online and email confirmations. For standard reservations, cancellations must be made at least 24 hours prior to 11:59 PM local time on the day of arrival to avoid a one-night room and tax charge.
