location is good, room is kind of small. front desk service is not too good. While the location is not too bad, the lack of communication before arrival and the disappointing front desk service made for a frustrating stay. Would not recommend based on customer service.

If you're looking for a quieter place outside of the central area, this is a good hotel to stay in. It is about 11-12 minutes walk downhill to the Prague Castle. Also, it is right next door (literally) to the Strahov Monastery. There are cafes, restaurants, and souvenirs about 3-4 minutes down. If you do need to come back and don't want to walk up the hill, you can either take Bolt or catch Tram 22 which stops 3 minutes away. You can also take the tram going down to the central area. The staff are friendly. The rooms are good size and beds are comfortable. They offer free bottles of water downstairs at the reception area. They have a good selection of hot and cold breakfast. I do wish it was slightly cheaper than 32 euros /per person.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Prague. From the moment we arrived, we received such a warm and genuine welcome, which immediately made us feel at home. A special thank you to all the staff — the receptionists were incredibly friendly, helpful, and welcoming throughout our stay, the housekeeping team did a great job, and the gentleman at the bar was also very kind and attentive. Everyone we interacted with contributed to making our stay feel comfortable and pleasant. The location was also great — in a lovely and peaceful area, while still being conveniently located for exploring Prague and getting around the city. We also really appreciated the welcome drink, which was a lovely touch after our arrival. Overall, my sister and I had a great experience and would happily stay here again when visiting Prague. Thank you to the whole team for making our stay so enjoyable!

Great location. Neighbor to the Monetary & very short downhill walk to the castle. Everything is downhill to this hotel. End of day, took tram up. Restaurant staff eager to address my vege requests. I am having trouble with names but will surely update on recollection. My 4th fl rooms had slanted low ceilings. If tall, try 3rd floor. I would visit again.

Great quiet location, just above the madness of town. If you don’t mind a short walk or a short train ride. Found it to be a clean and peaceful stay.

Stay away.. check in was terrible with one clerk doing the check in. The mattress was terrible as it sloped towards the floor. The refrigerator was missing from our room and the terrible customer service response was you can store your food and drinks in the bar refrigerator.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Check-in and out process was very easy. Hotel was clean and up-to-date. Breakfast was exceptional. Location was great for me - close enough to walk down into Prague every morning and right near public transport stop to come back in the evening. Quiet and secluded. Would recommend to freinds and family.

I am a repeat customer at the Lindner Hotel. I fell in love with it two years ago and will stay there again if I have the chance. The location is splendid. A short walk away from Prague’s “Eiffel Tower and right next door to the Strahov Brewery/restaurant and Monastery. We ate at the Monastery beer hall 3 of 4 nights! Tram 22 is a 3 minute walk away and takes you right down to the bridge that crosses into Old Town. The rooms are classic and insanely quiet. The beds are perfectly comfortable. The breakfast buffet has more choices than you can imagine. Simply stunning. The staff at all levels are friendly and very caring. I simply love staying at the Lindner.

The room had poor lighting. The AC would not go below 24 Celsius even though a paper in the room said it would go to 21-22. Staff said 24 is expected. There was a refrigerator in the room but they were unwilling to plug it in even though we had medicine that had to be refrigerated. They did offer to refrigerate it at the bar. There was an evacuation at 10:30pm at night due to a false alarm. On a positive note, the restaurant had good food and the hotel was conveniently located near the tram.

Great value hotel if you are booking on Hyatt points. Location is charming and the rooms have character. I loved the history of the building being part of the monastery, which also houses a well known brewery. Some elements of the rooms are tired - my kettle didn't work, the shower head was cracked (but worked fine), there was a hole in one of the towels (but it was clean). The window in the room was tiny, but this is a function of being part of the original architecture of a medieval monastery. It is up a hill. I love waking and am in good shape so I booked the hotel with this in mind and enjoyed the walk, but it was less appealing for my friend. About 30-40 min walk to/from Old Town (all downhill one way and uphill on the way back), so returning for a midday break is a chore. There is a tram that stops 1 block from the hotel if you don't want to walk, but it does require a transfer from the Old Town. I loved the location - 5-10 min walk to Prague Castle, 5 min from a bucolic park with an apple/pear orchard, but certainly not in the thick of things if you are are looking for a good nightlife scene. Very peaceful in morning and evening.
