This is not a hotel. It is a Palace. I am a globalist who used a suite upgrade award and had my 4 night stay in a regency suite. Property is absolutely stunning, the pictures do not do it justice. There are 30 foot ceilings and it is surrounded by 15 foot walls next to a beautiful lake that takes 4 miles to walk around. Breakfast buffet is amazing, might be one of the best I have ever had. Club lounge is nice too, somewhat limited hot food items but excellent fruit and desert. Such an under rated property

We had a wonderful stay at the hotel, the facility is well maintained, I am also very impressed with guest service. Every staff member is so friendly and helpful. Lydia with guest service was able to help me locate my jackets that I left in the room after I checked out, and had them shipped to me promptly. I really appreciate her help.

Wonderful experience, the hotel is simply beautiful and the amenities, the pool, just spectacular! The convenient location and the attached park, lovely . One of the best I’ve stayed around the world. I would recommend this hotel to anyone without a second thought!

What a great hotel. Beautiful property. Across the street from a nice shopping mall and not far from Tang Paradise area. It’s about a 20 minute car ride to the old city, which is fine. Recommended! And now I need to write 40 more characters. Done!

This hotel is simply outstanding. Don't even think about, just book it. We love the Hyatt brand, but this was one of the best ones we've stand at anywhere in the world. The room was huge, comfortable, and well appointed. (In fact, the room was bigger than many peoples' studio apartments. Did we get an upgrade?). The bathroom was spatious and the bed comfortable. Blackout curtains are important to us, and the room was nice and dark for sleeping. The breakfast was abundant and excellent, and we couldn't wait to try new foods everyday. They have a variety of Western and Chinese dishes and we had so much fun trying different Chinese foods every day, that we didn't have room for any Western breakfast items. The swimming pool is huge and has excellent lap lanes (bring your cap and goggles for lap swimming). There is also a sauna and hot tub in the men's and women's locker rooms. The pool and spa are open to 10 pm and were never crowded during our stay. We enjoyed the club lounge in the evening with its food and drink options. Lots of fun Chinese dishes, but then the upscale mall across the street had great restaurants too. Picture menus at the restaurants. Use Google Translate app on your phone to decipher. Just be prepared for people in China not wanting to speak English and using their phones to translate.

The hotel location is convenient with a park behind the hotel, and a huge shopping mall across the road. The lobby is massive and the overall condition of the hotel and rooms are very well maintained. We had breakfast and dinner buffets at the hotel restaurant on ground floor, and there is a wide variety of food options (Chinese, western, japanese), and the quality of the food is good.

This is a beautiful hotel. The room is spacious & beautifully decorated with a balcony outside the room. Both the dinner & breakfast buffet served both quality Chinese & American food, definitely not to be missed. So many choices, definitely something for everyone!

Air conditioning did not work staff tried to help but only solution was a different room with balcony so we could open the door. Only having one restaurant was a surprise. Buffet was great but didn’t want it two nights. It would be great for one night stay .

Regency hotel is usually a normal hotel in USA, however this hotel looks a luxurious hotel. The room is spacious. Breakfast has the choices more than I expected. I cannot expect more from a regency hotel in the world. This is one of the best hotel I stay in Xian.

Too many group guests make the hotel really busy. Hotel was only 9 years, but really feels like a 90s hotel with dim light and wear and tear here and there. Breakfast is great though.
