    Exceptional hotel all around!

The location was perfect for the marathon we were attending the morning after our stay. The hotel exceeded our expectations. It was exceptionally clean, fantastic customer service, speedy check-in, and the bar served great drinks with a very friendly and efficient waitstaff. The Hyatt Regency will absolutely be our #1 hotel choice next time we stay in Wichita!

    Bogus charge.

Terrible accounting experience. I got charged for late checkout when I actually checked out before 9:00 AM. I have not yet been able to talk to a real person about my problem despite several phone calls.

The Hotel That Smelled Like Luxury

I had a wonderful stay at the Hyatt Regency Wichita! Everyone on staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout my visit. The rooms were very clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. One thing that really stood out was the amazing scent throughout the hotel. It smelled absolutely wonderful! If I could figure out what fragrance they use, I would have it in my house, office, and car. It created such a relaxing and upscale atmosphere. Overall, this was an excellent experience from start to finish. Great service, beautiful accommodations, and an unforgettable ambiance. I highly recommend the Hyatt Regency Wichita and will definitely stay again!

Hyatt Regency is a good place to stay in Wichita, KS

We had a great experience at the Hyatt Regency in Wichita, KS. The Staff was very nice and helpful. Our room was clean, modern, and very nice. We had a great view of the River and downtown Wichita. Breakfast service was friendly. The buffet was large and good. The location was perfect. There are beautiful walkways along the river. The hotel has a reasonably priced parking garage for a downtown hotel ($15 a day).

    5 stars all the way!!

Excellent stay. Hotel was very clean. My bed was so comfortable that I almost overslept on the last day of the conference. The onsite restaurant was very nice, and prices were fair. I had 2 meals there. I would definitely stay at this location again.

    Rooms not Clean

Room floors, showers, and bedside tables are dirty. No one is paying attention to cleaning thoroughly. We had to switch rooms twice with the 3rd room being barely acceptable. Had to wear pool shoes because the floors were dirty.

    Nice stay

Hotel was nice and clean. Location was centralized. Just be warned there is no river to have a view over so if you are picking it for that reason. Rethink that decision. But would recommend staying here.

Plumbing issues, noisy adjoining rooms, Maintenance never fixed rooms issues

The sound from the adjoining room was very loud. The occupants of that room might as well have been in the room with me. The door separating the 2 rooms was paper thin. The front desk did move me to a new room with no adjoining room so the sound was fine for the rest of the stay, however... During the next three days I experienced no Cold Water at the faucet or the shower. Both taps in the faucet were Hot Water and the shower had no Cold Water to temper the water temperature. So I had to brush my teeth with Scalding Hot Water and take a shower with Scalding Hot Water. Each morning I notified the Front Desk and they were going to have Maintenance fix the issue. I never received any confirmation that the issue was fixed. Each night I came back to the room late and was too tired to move rooms again. Each morning, I experienced the same water temperature issue and each morning I notified the Front Desk. The issue was never resolved and I had to check out on the final day without the ability to even take a shower - it was so hot I couldn't handle it. This is not a user error issue. I have experience working in the Hospitality industry and in the Construction industry. I have a lot of questions that you should consider: 1. How can Hyatt, with its experience in the hotel industry, not have appropriate specifications for sound transmission through adjoining room doors? 2. How can Hyatt hire an architect that doesn't understand or spec the appropriate doors to the GC? 3. How can Hyatt not install proper water utilities to the room? This seems like this was a supply line piping issue or a boiler issue, not a mixing valve issue, since the condition was present at both the sink and the shower. 4. How can Hyatt not commission their rooms properly before allowing customers to occupy the room? 5. How can Hyatt hire a Maintenance/Engineer staff that can't adequately troubleshoot or fix the problem? Or at least follow up with the Front Desk to notify the occupant that the issue couldn't be resolved? 6. How can Hyatt run a hotel operation where customer concerns are not followed up on to close the issue? The Front Desk staff was polite, while they read their "script" about "I understand your frustration" but it was all just platitudes because they never actually did anything about it. They didn't communicate anything useful to me. I've had better stays at the Motel 6.

To expensive for what we got

It was a nice hotel, but there were many details that just made it just as bad/good as a cheap hotel. Of course everything on the outside and even at first glance was fancy and great, but just little details were missed. Bathroom sink that gurgled when draining; no cold water in the bathroom sink; brown ...stuff... on the ceiling above the main room door; and hard to find information on room service. The kids had fun at the pool which was very nice. But the bathrooms are outside the locked door. So it required badging in everytime they needed to use the bathroom and trapsed water in the main hallway. Having the restaurant in the building was nice, but the prices are so expensive for what we got. Just feeding the family was beyond what I was expecting. It wasn't fancy dining either.

    Clean, but not without issues

Hotel was clean, staff was friendly, but glass door showers in the bathrooms leak onto the bathroom floor and the free airport shuttle scheduling is inconsistent.

    Great place.

What a great place to attend a conference. The accommodations are situated in such a large space it was easy to find the sized space you need. It is also very simple to navigate your way around as well. Being downtown, you are not far from Wichita attractions.

Location is easy to get to. Clean, elegant hotel with comfortable beds, nightlights in bottom of bed and bathroom vanity, good restaurant and bar, good coffee shop, easy access to parking garage for self parking or valet.

Stay was fine. Too many kids in the hot tub to enjoy. No complementary water or coffee. Not thanked for being a member or told about breakfast.
