Bad for light sleepers or people who like fresh air
Really most things were fine but I could not sleep my whole time I was there. If you want fresh air or don't want air blowing on you constantly in your sleep this is not the place for. I had a terrible experience that being said it was all sleep related, no other issues.

Greetings from Hyatt Regency Washington on Capitol Hill, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are pleased to hear that most aspects of your stay met your expectations and that you experienced no other significant issues during your visit. At the same time, I am sincerely sorry that you were unable to get a restful night's sleep. We understand that guest comfort is essential, and we regret that the room's ventilation system and lack of access to fresh air negatively impacted your experience. A comfortable sleeping environment is one of the most important aspects of any hotel stay, and we understand how frustrating it can be when that expectation is not met. Your comments have been shared with our leadership and engineering teams for review as we continually look for ways to improve the guest experience. We appreciate your candid feedback and thank you for highlighting that the remainder of your stay was positive. We hope you will consider giving us another opportunity to provide a more comfortable visit in the future. Safe and Happy Travels, Mike M.

Very convenient to Capitol Hill. Fun and Exciting atmosphere. Rooms were clean, comfortable , and quiet. Climate control worked well and not too noisy. Nice desk set up for office work. Checkin was a little slow, but check out was rapid. nice variety of fitness equipment , but layout and selection was not well thought out as could have been. Great place overall!

stay at Hyatt
The Staff very helpful. They showed genuine care for their customers. the restaurant staff was just as helpful. Rooms need zero calorie coffee creamers. The coffee packages in my opinion is a waste of money for the hotel and bad for the environment, and most of the items in there is not used by the customers. Assigned room very noisy! Speaking generally for my group, the hotel is nice and the proximity to the capital and other points of interest is great!

10/10 recommend the Hyatt Regency Washington at Capitol Hill.
We had a wonderful stay thanks to a welcoming staff, incredible service, and the most generous suite upgrade we have ever received during our years of tier status with World of Hyatt. This beautiful, modern, and welcoming property is blocks away from the Capitol building. This was our first stay at this property, and I believe it recently underwent a full renovation. The lobby and every other space we saw were clean, modern, spacious, and welcoming. We didn’t use the pool or gym area, but they looked great. Every interaction we had with various staff was kind and helpful. Many thanks to Hyatt Regency at Capitol Hill for making our first visit to DC nothing short of extraordinary.

5/5 and then some
I went to DC for a quick solo museum tour - this location was perfect. The lady in front was able to check me in at 11 in the morning. I asked to switch rooms the first night due to a very loud next door neighbor and the concierge was quick, kind, and walked me to the new room. The renovated rooms are beautiful, bed was 10/10, the staff were always so kind and accommodating. It was the perfect place to go home to after a long day of walking. I would 1000% stay again, what a lovely experience.

Great Experience!!
My trip to DC started off great with checking in at the newly renovated Hyatt Regency on Capitol Hill. Even though I hadn't been there in a year, I was greeted by Megan Kantor, the Guest Experience Manager, like an old friend. I was no longer a Globalist member, but she still extended many of the benefits, like allowing us to check out at 4 PM instead of 2 PM. I was there last year while renovations were taking place, and the finished product is truly amazing. I love making this Hyatt my homebase whenever I'm in town.

Blew me away ! !
Wonderful experience! Arriving about 10 pm - after checking my bag there at 4:30 - the bellman accepted my ticket and then asked "What color is your bag, sir?" "Red" Presto: bag! I thanked him and went straight to my room: gorgeous room, simple, neutral colors, clever lighting. Breakfast: coffee & juice by one server, condiments from another, order by a third, nice. Outside the porters gave me clear directions to the train station - and I was off! Thank you Hyatt!
