  • Noisy AC unit

    My husband and I stayed for one night and unfortunately had a disappointing experience due to a loud AC unit in Room 250. Even when the AC panel was turned off, the unit continued to make a loud, continuous noise (similar to leaking water or crack/ticking noise), which made it difficult to sleep—especially after a long day of travel. We reported the issue at checkout and followed up via email with a video. Manager Benjamin reached out and was initially very responsive, asking, “At this point, what can I do to make it right?” However, after a couple of emails, I never heard back from him again, which was disappointing and left the issue unresolved. We redeemed a free night for this stay, so it felt like a wasted opportunity. That said, the property was clean and in a convenient location, and I’m hopeful this was an isolated incident.

  • A fantastic place to stay for excursions into wine country and beyond

    Outstanding experience. The staff were extremely accomodating and made our experience a memorable one. The Hyatt was central for our trips west to Bodega Bay, and also into Sonoma, Napa, and surrounding areas. Would definitely come back again to stay.

  • Awesome Hotel and Staff

    After reading a few of the reviews I was anticipating a non friendly staff who weren’t willing to meet our needs. This wasn’t the case!! The staff was beyond friendly and assisted us quickly. In fact, they were much friendlier than a lot of hotels we have stayed at. The location is ideal and the rooms were clean and the bed was awesome!!

  • An okay stay

    The staff was friendly. The room was clean, but did not have a coffee maker in it as was advertised. The location is not the best - right next to the freeway

  • Bad choice plus bad experience

    I’m genuinely shocked that Hyatt allows this property to operate under its brand. This is by far the worst Hyatt hotel I’ve ever stayed at. I even injured my right foot from broken pieces of a body lotion bottle left in the shower. I requested a blanket and asked for someone to fix the connecting room door, which couldn’t be locked. The front desk assured me someone would come shortly—but no one ever showed up, even after waiting the entire night. Absolutely unacceptable. I’m now seriously considering canceling all my upcoming Hyatt reservations for my August trip.

  • Don't forget to hang by the pool

    Michael at the pool bar creates the perfect cocktails for a hot poolside afternoon in wine country. Above average hospitality!

  • Disappointed with Sonoma Hyatt

    The front desk personnel were perfunctory. They could have been more informative about special event --(complimentary wines sponsored by local winery) the afternoon we checked in and given us useful information about the city surroundings since we have not been in Santa Rosa before. There were no cream cups for coffee, the wine cork screwer was flimsy, and our toilet seat was loose. We are Hyatt members and had better experience with other Hyatt hotels.

  • An excellent one-night stay

    Room contemporary and very clean. Well appointed. Parking was convenient with choice of valet or self. Self-park lot seemed secure. Mattress & bedding super clean and very comfortable. Quiet. Nice glass walk-in shower with separate toilet room. One sink. No room service. Breakfast offered in restaurant or pick-up to take to room. Food quality average, nothing special. All staff extremely friendly and helpful.

  • Great Stay

    Great stay. Pool was fantastic, especially on a sunny day. Room was clean and quiet. We also enjoyed the location - easy walk to a few great restaurants and the mall.

  • I don't recommend this hotel

    I booked the room for king size bed but was told that only double bed room can be offered. In addition, I was told that the parking is waived as the room that I booked was not available but when I check out the staff told me that the person who was telling me this is new to this hotel and the information that she gave me was incorrect.
