Destination Fee

A daily destination fee of $25.00 (subject to change) is applied to each room of your stay in order to provide the following services and amenities, which enhance the guest experience. Please contact the hotel directly for more information.

FIREARMS POLICY

Guests or visitors of a Hyatt hotel who lawfully are permitted to possess a firearm, may bring such firearm onto hotel premises for storage purposes only. Any guest or visitor who is in possession of a firearm on hotel premises is personally responsible for abiding by all applicable federal, state and local laws with respect to firearms, in the jurisdiction where the hotel is located, and ensuring that the firearm is unloaded; secured in a locked, hard-sided firearm container provided by the guest; and securely safeguarded at all times in a guest room (or personal vehicle), except when transporting the firearm into or out of the hotel.

CASH-FREE ENVIRONMENT

Please note that our hotel is cashless. You may pay with a debit or credit card; however, we currently do not accept contactless payment methods.

INCIDENTAL HOLD

An incidental hold of $75 per night will be authorized on the card provided at check-in. This is an authorization for charges made to your room, however any remaining credit will be released at checkout. Depending on your bank, this may take two-three business days to fully release back to your credit card. Please note that this authorization will place a hold on funds on your debit card and may take your bank up to seven business days to release.

PET POLICY

At Hyatt Regency Portland, traveling with your dog is easy. Our pet-friendly hotel makes it convenient for dog lovers and their four-legged friends to enjoy the sights and sounds of Portland, Oregon. Hyatt focuses on providing a hassle-free experience for travelers. While dogs are allowed at Hyatt Regency Portland, please see a list of associated fees below for dogs that stay at the hotel:

A nonrefundable pet deposit of $50 for a one-night stay, and $100 for up to six nights is applicable. An additional $100 fee is applicable every six nights after this. Please note dogs are not allowed in food and beverage service areas.

SMOKING POLICY

There is no smoking allowed in the public areas or in our rooms and suites. The hotel will apply a $250 cleaning fee plus taxes to any guest room that violates this nonsmoking policy.

EARLY DEPARTURE FEE

Hyatt Regency Portland has an early departure fee of one-night’s room and tax. Departure dates are reconfirmed at check-in and are subject to a fee if changed after the check-in process is completed.

PACKAGE HANDLING FEES

Our Guest Experience team will handle your incoming and outgoing packages.

A one-time package handling fee will apply to each package received. Please note that packages will only be stored for 3 days before incurring a storage fee.

Items measuring over six feet in size are considered oversize and will be assessed an additional oversize fee.

PRIVACY POLICY

For those guests utilizing the “presently occupied” sign, at Hyatt, the welfare and safety of our guests and colleagues is a top priority. It is Hyatt’s practice to enter every occupied guest room at a minimum of once within a 24-hour period, even if a guest has requested privacy.

EARLY CHECK-IN

Guaranteed check-in time is 3 p.m. Please note: An early check-in before 3 p.m. is subject to additional fees plus taxes.

LATE CHECKOUT

Complimentary late checkout of noon may be available; please contact the front desk the day prior to your departure. Late checkout requests after noon may be granted upon availability at a $10 per hour fee plus taxes up until 4 p.m.

TAX EXEMPTIONS

If you are a federal government employee on federal government business, please complete and turn in the tax exemption documents to have the tax exemption applied. To verify your reservation is tax exempt under Oregon law and find the needed documents, please visit: https://www.portland.gov/revenue/transient-lodgings-tax. The completed documents can be scanned and emailed to the hotel at pdxrp.quality@hyatt.com or turned into the front desk at check-in. For an expedited check-in and most accurate folio, please email the completed form and necessary documents to the hotel at least 72 hours before arrival.
