Great stay
The hotel and our room was very clean and the staff were very nice. Great water pressure for the shower on the 10th floor. Hotel was very close to restaurants and Rupp arena.

I like the location
good location, secure, place needs a lot of updating. Felt dark and lonely. Gym is outdated, water temp fluctuated everyday in the showert

Not worth the money you pay ... tired and dated hotel
This is a tired, dated hotel ... way, way, way too expensive for the value provided. It's connected to Rupp Area - super convenient if you're there for a game, so I guess they have a "captive audience" as a result.

Thank you for your useful feedback. Rates are strictly based on market demand and being connected to Rupp Arena is a nice value add. We begin renovations this month and they will conclude in early Q2 of '27. You will be pleased with what is being addressed. We hope to see you again soon.
another Keeneland weekend
probably 20th stay at this hotel, staff always friendly, from check in to check out. was told back in April that renovations were about to take place, didn't see any signs of that happening. it is badly needed. facility wise it is light years behind the Marriott down the street. but what keeps me coming back is the people and the location, both are excellent

Unacceptable Operations Planning & Management
Bare minimum staff for a three-day conference held adjacent in the Rupp Arena Convention Center. There was only one cook assigned during dinner hours for their only restaurant onsite, and only one front desk personnel and a security guard covering the night shift.

A great place to stay when traveling here for business!
I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived with the friendliness of the front desk and bar staff. I enjoyed the comfortability of my bed/pillows and loved the shower.

Great property
A definite must if you're visiting lexington, this hotel is in a great location. The staff are wonderful, very friendly and helpful. The hotel is very clean. The rooms are large and immaculate. Please take note: this hotel has those feather pillows, which are awful, so if you have a way to bring yours from home, do it. You'll need three pillows just to get any kind of support. That's the only downfall of this property. I would highly suggest you stay here

Great stay!
Nice hotel. Rooms were good, clean and spacious. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Internet was good, allowing me to take some business meetings in my room.

Nice Welcome to Lex
The rooms were very clean and front desk staff was always in a great mood and very accommodating. There was always someone at the front desk, did not have to play seek and find with the front desk staff. Very humorous and efficient. Housekeeping provided full service to my room each day without request (most hotels make you request this).

Disappointing stay during University of Kentucky Stay
The hotel is very old and in need of updating. The bathroom had water stains underneath the sink and appeared to have mold, which was concerning. The in-room safe also did not work. In addition, the hotel is located right in the center of town, so it was very loud at night and difficult to sleep. Overall, the condition of the room and the noise level made for a disappointing stay.

Not great
Very run down hotel. Rooms are not maintained. Stained linens, dirty armchair. Fridge cabinet was falling apart. Not what you would expect from the Hyatt brand.

Great service and wonderful breakfast, a very nice stay
Staffmembers Leonia and Loretta were very warm and helpful, it was a pleasure to meet them. The breakfast buffet was superb and so were the menu options (e.g. chia pudding). My 4yo enjoyed the pool, which was serviceable though outdated. I heard from a front desk person that the pool is being removed later this year (2026).

Old and outdated
Disappointed in the outdated condition of the room and hotel. Carpet stains, knicked up furniture, scratches and chips in bathroom, no ottoman to put feet up, no gift/sundry shop for snacks. Felt more like a budget hotel than a Hyatt.

Excellent!
The bar service, drinks, conversation and food were wonderful!! Rooms were clean and roomy. The location is excellent located across the street from amazing food and attached to the convention center.

Landlord Special
This hotel needs to be renovated immediately. Nothing is majorly wrong but everything is run down and just not what I expected.

Lexington Hyatt is not too shabby!
Very clean, sheets were amazing fantastic, room layout and view was fantastic. I also enjoyed a really nice piece of carrot cake and a delicious martini espresso.

Convenient Location, needs a refresh
Fantastic location. Hotel is in major need of an update. Restaurant staff was stretched thin and has limited hours of operation. Front desk staff was incredibly helpful and fun!

Great short getaway
Our stay with family was great with very good food and drinks and an indoor pool for kids was perfect. Some items need repair or replacement but that was minimal.

No climate control.
Was on the 12th floor during the heat wave in Kentucky. The AC did not work even after I was moved because they put me in the wrong room to start. Was told the AC was on one system and that they were slowly upgrading the building. Manager never contacted me after the complaint. I stayed for 3 nights and barely got any sleep because I couldn't even sleep with so much as a sheet on me. Was pretty upset. Better off staying at a Residence Inn.
