A Peaceful and Comfortable Stay Near Teluk Chempedak Beach
A lovely hotel in a great location, right infront of Teluk Chempedak Beach. The hotel offers a calm and relaxing atmosphere, with exclusive, comfortable rooms that provide excellent value for money. The rooms are clean, and the surroundings are well maintained. What truly made the stay special was the warm hospitality of the receptionists, who were welcoming, friendly, and lovely throughout my visit. The breakfast buffet was another highlight, offering an interesting spread with a good variety of choices to start the day. The hotel also offers a wide range of amenities, although my rather short, extended stay did not give me enough time to fully enjoy everything it had to offer. Overall, a wonderful place for a peaceful and comfortable getaway. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing stay near Teluk Chempedak Beach.

The best Hyatt for family day
We recently had our family day at Hyatt Regency Kuantan Resort, and I just have to give a huge shoutout to the amazing team who made our stay so memorable! First, Ms. Naza was my very first point of contact, and I truly believe our wonderful experience started with her. When I raised my concerns about the pool closure, she took them seriously, escalated the matter to her team, and made a genuine effort to address the situation. I really appreciated her leadership and how she brought everyone together to take care of our family. Irwan was absolutely amazing in handling our family booking! Organizing a stay for a large family can be stressful, but he made everything so smooth and easy. He was incredibly accommodating, thoughtful, and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience. I really can't thank him enough! Muhammad at the lounge was another highlight! Always smiling, super friendly, and so sweet to my nieces and nephews. He took wonderful care of our family, and my dad especially loved his hospitality! The team at Kampung during breakfast was just as wonderful. They made sure our family could sit together, regularly checked if we needed anything, and even remembered us when we returned for breakfast. Those little gestures really made us feel welcomed. A big thank you as well to the bell team for helping with all our luggage and making things so much easier for us. What impressed me most was how consistent the hospitality was throughout the entire resort. Everyone seemed genuinely happy to help, and we never felt like just another group of guests. I've always believed that a great hotel isn't just about beautiful rooms or facilities, but the people who make you feel at home. This team is a perfect example of that. Thank you, Ms. Naza, Irwan, Muhammad, and the entire Hyatt Regency Kuantan Resort team! You made our family day truly special, and we can't wait to come back!

Very Noisy at Night – Unable to Sleep
The room was comfortable, but unfortunately my stay was badly affected by the noise at night. My room was on the ground floor facing the swimming pool, and I was woken up around 12:30 AM by very loud music. I could not go back to sleep, and the noise was still ongoing at around 4.00 AM. For a hotel of this standard, I would expect better control of noise, especially after midnight when guests are trying to rest. I would strongly recommend avoiding ground-floor rooms facing the swimming pool, particularly during weekends.
Hyatt Regency Kuantan Resort Management, Marketing at Hyatt Regency Kuantan Resort, responded to this review
Thank you for your feedback. We deeply regret that your stay was disrupted by noise, and we completely understand how frustrating it is to be unable to rest, especially in the early hours of the morning. Please be assured that we take this matter seriously. We will continue to review our noise management protocols to ensure a peaceful environment for all our guests, particularly during late hours and busy weekends. We also appreciate your helpful tip for future guests regarding room locations. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back for a much quieter and more restful stay.

Lovely hotel with a lot of restaurants nearby. We stayed at sea view rooms which had breathtaking views. We may come again to stay. Wish there were more parking spots for guests though.

Wonderful Vacation with Excellent Service
Wonderful Vacation with Excellent Service We had a wonderful stay at Hyatt Regency. The room was clean, comfortable, and excellent. The food was delicious, and our group of ladies felt safe throughout the stay. A special thank you to Arift, who assisted with our last-minute request for connecting rooms and arranged a complimentary extra bed. Although I made a mistake with the booking, he did his best to accommodate our needs. He was friendly, warm, and very helpful. One suggestion concerns the large water bottles. The caps were difficult to open, especially for children, and the bottles could not be closed securely after opening. It would be more convenient to provide screw-cap bottles or offer both small and large bottles. Overall, we had a great vacation and would be happy to stay here again!
Hyatt Regency Kuantan Resort Management, Marketing at Hyatt Regency Kuantan Resort, responded to this review

We are delighted to know our colleague's efforts to accommodate your last-minute requests made a difference. We also appreciate your suggestion regarding the large water bottles. This is helpful feedback, and we'll review the current offering to see how we can make it more convenient for families with children. We look forward to welcoming you back.
