Nice atmospher and great location

Very nicely located if you are going to Greenville. Found it nice to be able to easily walk to shops and restaurants in downtown Greenville, SC. Also parking was very easy and we were able to self park and easily walk to car.

Nice Hotel, Spotty Service

The hotel was clean and beautiful. The location is great. However, the breakfast delivery in the morning is hit or miss. I received my food the first morning as ordered, and it was still warm even though several colleagues received their food very late and cold. The second morning I didn't receive my breakfast at all, and I was still charged for it. When I tried to call the hotel I kept getting rerouted to the Accounting Department who never answers the phone regardless of the time or day of the week. I've called the corporate number, and they opened a claim.

Excellent

It was perfect. Great check in , the room was clean also comfortable. The property is beautiful I really loved all of the Christmas trees and the Starbucks located in the hotel was very convenient. Couldn’t have been better

Lovely hotel

This is a very nice hotel. Staff are welcoming and helpful. The hotel was decorated for Christmas, making it very festive! It is located in a great area of Greenville with lots of shopping and restaurants nearby. We would highly recommend this hotel.

No Hot Water, Staff Unresponsive

We've stayed at many Hyatt properties over the years (we are Globalist) and generally, we love the Hyatt Regency branded hotels. We have family in the Greenville, SC area, so we've looked forward to staying at this Hyatt Regency for years. We were disappointed with some of the maintenance issues (no hot water -- 4 cold showers) and the lack of responsiveness (none!) by the Hotel (front desk, or management). There was a motion detected overhead light in our room. Every time one of our sons rolled over (sleeper sofa), the overhead lights would turn on, requiring someone to get out of bed to manually turn off lights. It would be excellent if there was some sort of note on that light switch ... or a way to turn it off from being motion detected. The breakfast buffet was excellent. Food/Beverage staff & food quality was excellent. Front desk responsiveness and maintenance issues ... not good.

Great Hotel

A Great Hotel with a very attentive staff. The location is also great because you right downtown and in the heart a lot of activities. Many restaurants from good ole southern comfort food to pizza and of course a Great Steak.

Hotel food was excellent...

Location is great for business meetings/conferences. The food provided by the hotel for the conference was excellent! The conference rooms were clean but the temperatures were kept too cold that I nwore a jacket and wrap myself in a blanket.

Poor restaurant

Hotel was fine but the only choice was one indifferent restaurant that had the atmosphere of a cafe and very poor menu choices. Service was average at reception and in the restaurant. Room attractive decor but a little worn in places. Good location

Bed bugs galore, Filthy, Worst Staff experience

Hotel is in a good location. That's the only pro. From check-in, the front staff seemed to not want to be there. Got into bed after a decent shower so was quite hopeful. At around 1130pm, I woke up with my skin on fire. Turned on the lights only to see bumps all over and bedbugs from the corners of the bed. I untacked the sheets of the other bed only to see the same. Called the front desk and they stated they'd send someone over to guide me to a new room. Oh, and they stated that it was most probably because the previous occupant had bugs (so basically stating that they don't clean their rooms before the next arrival). Then, they send a huge MAN in the middle of the night to "escort" a woman travelling alone to her new room. As you had all guessed, the new room had no hot water or shower gel. Thank God I had packed my own shower gel. During check out, the front desk didn't seem to care about my experience and simply stated that it's a housekeeping issue and not theirs. DO NOT STA HERE. Better hotels in the same area

Great work trip

Stayed 3 nights for work. Room was clean and nice. Breakfast provided by hotel was delicious. I was able to check in earlier than the stated check in time, which was very convenient. Definitely recommend!
