Great weekend Stay
What a great stay! The history of the building and architecture is simply amazing. Such a convenient location to so many places that n downtown.
Vintage cool hotel with a great location
Great vintage hotel, beautiful wood work and high ceilings. Cool vibe (was a mall in the 1900s), beautiful at night. Friendly staff was a plus. Great location to food and baseball stadium.
Exceptional Service with Lots To Do!
My wife and I stayed with our dog to visit friends and see a concert during the week. Kris, the Assistant Front Office Manager, checked us in and was exceptionally helpful and kind. He provided a lot of really good recommendations for local spots to visit while we were there. The hotel was very clean and easy to navigate. We loved that the elevators required your keycard to use any of the buttons for added safety. Everything is within walking distance, including the concert venue we went to. Lots of shops and restaurants nearby, including ones inside the Arcade. Before the concert we enjoyed drinks in the 1890 Lounge that is next to the Front Desk looking out at the iconic atrium. The drinks were well made and they had a lot of unique cocktails. In the morning, before checkout, we got some coffee from Rising Star Coffee which was right next to the entry doors. Highly recommend the hotel if you are looking for a spot downtown with top notch service.
Just Ok- not worth the price paid
The location and convenience of all of the close amenities are amazing however, the room fell short of expectations for the price ($600+ for 2 nights). The outlets on the nightstand didn’t work, no hand soap was provided, some rooms had bottled waters but not others, and no “room occupied” sign was provided and therefore we were awoken by housekeeping. The room smelled musty and the AC was loud.
Stay here!!!!
The Hyatt at the arcade is the absolute gem of Cleveland. It's in the heart of the city and walking distance to the night life on E4th! There is always a wedding which fills the hotel with pure happiness every weekend. The staff is always top notch and the room service is phenomenal. Absolutely stay at this hotel and enjoy the fun!
Fair
The celevant Hyatt is a decent hotel. But the parking is difficult, and expensive. The building is godgus but the tub is a little dirty.
Convenient and Comfortable
Great location and convenient to sporting events, pubs and shopping. Beds are very comfortable and staff is friendly.
Great place to bring guests for a meeting
What a fantastic spot for a business meeting. The meeting rooms were immaculate, modern and spacious. The actual hotel is wonderful and affordable. We moved the meeting from Boston to Cleveland. The nearbye food and activitiy options are amazing and we walked to everything.
Baseball Weekend
Hyatt Cleveland at The Arcade The inside of the Hyatt reminds me of The Titanic. The hotel is beautiful and quiet. All of the staff was nice and very helpful.
Love love love this hotel
I would tell anyone to stay at this hotel. It is the most unique hotel I have ever stayed in. It was from 1890 and it was a mall. It was the first enclosed mall in America and it is something to see and it’s so close within walking distance to all the sporting events, the Cavaliers, the guardians, and the Browns and the people there are so nice. The whole experience to me is perfect.
Hyatt at Arcade was wonderful....
Highly recommend the Hyatt at the Arcade. The Arcade is beautiful and the location of the hotel is great... excellent staff. Room was spacious and very clean.
Mixed bag
Staff was exceptional maybe the best hotel staff I have experienced. The room was hard pressed to rate average and did not match my online description. Parts of the neighborhood felt very unsafe with homeless people and drug users plentiful.
Dirty rooms
My experience at the Hyatt Regency Cleveland was extremely disappointing and far below the standard I expected from a Hyatt property. I arrived Tuesday night, and the moment I opened my assigned room, it reeked of cigarette smoke. I checked the bathroom, and it was also filthy and appeared not to have been properly cleaned. I immediately contacted the front desk and requested another room. I was told the hotel was fully booked and there were no rooms available. I spent more than four hours sitting in the hotel lobby, waiting for a solution. During that time, there was no meaningful communication from management or the front desk. After approximately four hours, I followed up myself and was told housekeeping had cleaned the room. Unfortunately, when I returned to the room, the cigarette smell was still overwhelming and the bathroom was still not clean. A new set of sheets had simply been placed on the bed. I returned to the front desk and explained that the room was unacceptable. I then spent another hour or more in the lobby while the hotel worked on another solution. I was eventually told that housekeeping would return, use an air purifier, clean the bathroom, and change the sheets again. When I returned to the room, the situation was still unacceptable. The bathroom had not been properly cleaned, the beds were disheveled, and the sheets had not been changed as promised. Air freshener had been heavily sprayed throughout the room, leaving the bed area, couch, curtains, and bathroom floor wet. There was also an extremely noisy ice machine directly next to the room, which created an additional disturbance and made it difficult to get meaningful rest. This was particularly concerning because I have asthma, and remaining in a room filled with cigarette smoke posed a serious health concern for me. I was told housekeeping management would arrive at 6:30 a.m. I asked whether a room that became available after an overnight checkout could be cleaned and assigned to me around 7:00 a.m. When I called around 7:30 a.m., I was told there were still no rooms available. Eventually, another room was arranged for me, but it was not ready until approximately 9:30 a.m. Wednesday morning. What should have been a simple hotel stay turned into hours of waiting, repeated attempts to resolve the situation, an overwhelming cigarette odor, an unclean bathroom, wet furnishings, a noisy ice machine, and significant disruption to my night and morning. For a Hyatt Regency, I expected much better attention to cleanliness, guest comfort, health concerns, and communication.
Great Location - proximity to attractions
Great location - easy walk to Rock and Roll HOF as well as to Progressive Field for a Guardians baseball game - clean, felt very safe, awesome bars with good food all around Hotel
Old World Style with today’s luxury
Beautiful, rooms were excellent and the staff was great. It is so beautiful with all the original architecture and yet the rooms were updated and nice (quiet too).
Loud weddings during our stay!
The hotel itself was amazing but if you are going for a relaxing experience you will want to check with the hotel directly to ask if there are weddings booked during your stay. We were there two nights and they had two weddings.
Regency Bias!
My wife and I had a great experience and stay at the Hyatt Regency Cleveland at the Arcade. You could not beat the setting and the staff was incredibly pleasant and helpful. Would definitely stay there again.
Highly recommend.
Great option if you are staying in downtown Cleveland. Nice accommodations and convenient to Guardians/Cavs and Rock N Roll Hall of Fame as well as restaurants.
Cleveland Fun
Our stay was great. Our nephew got married. Reception was at Cleveland Hyatt at the arcade. Great location in downtown. Great restaurants nearby. Mabel BBQ, Marble Room, southern tier brewery and butcher and brewer
Great location, nice staff and a clean room
Clean hotel, nice staff and downtown Cleveland made the Hyatt a excellent choice for us. A really unique hotel, loved the arcade
