The hotel is really dated. The room was very "worn" and smelled of a cat litter box. There were large stains on the carpet. The walls were scuffed and peeling. The toilet paper holder fell apart. The bathroom vanity corners were broken off. The service in the bar was outright bad. They were understaffed, and the bartender they had so rude. The coffee shop service wasn't bad, just slow - 9 minutes to get a coffee. It is nice to have restaurants so close and walkable. Some of our board members also made the walk to Nordstrom Rack for some shopping.

I stayed here for Pinball Expo in October with friends. The location is convenient, with restaurants like the Capital Grille within walking distance and the convention center a short ride away. The lobby has complimentary water, which is a nice touch. The room undoes it: the water in the refrigerator is $10 a bottle, and I was charged for one I never drank. The front desk said they would credit it, and they didn't. My friends complained about the same thing. Give guests free water downstairs and then charge $10 for it upstairs, and the gesture leaves a sour taste. Front desk follow-through was the bigger problem. I asked twice to move my checkout up a day and was told a manager had to approve it. It never got done. The next morning no one at the hotel answered the phone, even when Hyatt's own customer service called three times on my behalf. A case was opened, and the hotel never followed up. Decent hotel and a good location, but small requests shouldn't take this much chasing.

I Stayed at the Hyatt regency! Clean, convenient, close to everything and reasonably priced. I Loved corner room 5151.

Had a lovely stay. Staff was wonderful. Rooms were clean. Enjoyed the little extras. Apple Cider and Carmel corn and complementary water.

The location was perfect for us. Situated in such close proximity to the mall was ideal. There are some opportunities for updates with regard to carpet and walls (wear and tear). The ceiling in the fitness center could use some attention, but none of this really negatively impacted our stay. Pineapple reference for points!

Friendly staff. Bedding was quite comfortable. Room was quiet. The room was clean. I appreciated the in-room refrigerator.

Stayed here and thoroughly enjoyed it. Comfortable rooms, attentive staff, and the food on site was exceptional. Located near airport, but still good restaurants and attractions nearby.

Great hotel. Very comfortable large rooms. Terrific staff. Very clean rooms and timely housekeeping. Hotel shuttle provided easy transportation to dinners at restaurants in area. Highly recommend

Presidents Cup brought me to Chicago… Hyatt make sure the experience was seamless… plenty of dinner options in the area and close to ORD! :)

Great if you like moisture, peeling paint, and a money-grubbing spirit at every turn. Probably best to stay somewhere else unless you need to be precisely in this spot for some reason.

I visited this hotel for an annual convention as I have many times in the past. It is consistently excellent with a staff that is efficient, friendly and professional from the front desk to the restaurant to the housekeeping team. The facilities are well maintained and clean, and food and beverages available are very good quality, especially the pineapple. I look forward to returning.

The lobby and Hotel location are great. The overall condition of the rooms are very dated and worn. First room I was given smelled like cigarette smoke. Breakfast was very nice. Gym door was broken and unable to be used. Staff was great and accommodating. Overall I feel the price was high for the condition.

The location of excellent close to the city and the airport.... The shopping and the food options we're great on the days that we didn't want to go into the city. The hotel is clean, spacious has all the amenities with a staff is helpful and welcoming.

Nice quiet hotel in great location. Only disappointment was the outdoor had been closed for a few years. We were not able use our pineapple floaties.

Very nice! Lots of space and great common area and bar. Dinner and desert were exceptional!! Many great food options close by. Rooms were quiet/enough room to spread out; didn't hear a thing.

Was able to go relax in a quiet room, and the hotel had the just what I needed, Hyatt family always come through with comfort and welcoming hospitality

The friendliness of the staff and cleanliness was nice. Its in a good location. It smelled fresh like apples or pineapple

It was not clean. It smelled humid as soon as I walked in my room. The door before we walked into the room was broken. The windows of my room were stained. You can tell the beds weren’t fully made because the sheets were sticking out. The only good thing it had was the breakfast area, the servers were very attentive and nice. The barista at Starbucks seemed to be in a bad mood, but it made sense since he was the only one taking orders, making the drinks, and stocking up items. When I tried to change rooms at the front desk, I was told there was nothing they could do because everything was booked. It made no sense, since the parking lot was empty. Honestly, I expected better from Hyatt. Just shocked. Pineapple.
