Loved everything about this hotel. Fantastic location to the expore the city on foot, great view, comfortable rooms, good amenities.

Totally not worth the money, Overpriced, and charged more than $100 per day in additional fees. The hotel is old and not well maintained. The first night my bed was missing some sheets. Ended up paying over $800 per day including parking.

The hotel is well located within walking distance to Boston Commons, Chinatown and Downtown Crossing. A good hotel for leisure or business.

We did not feel that this hotel provided what we would expect from a 4 star experience. When we arrived with our heavy cases from the airport there was nobody to help us get our bags from the pavement where the taxi dropped us. We wheeled them in ourselves got ourselves up to the lobby floor - it was midday so we did not expect our room to be ready but wanted to leave our bags. There was one person on reception who wasn’t overly helpful but we got him to store our bags. We asked if we could have a tea/cofferr before we went out - he did get us that. We returned later to go to our room - no obvious help with bags was visible or offered - we find this amazing for this level of hotel. The room was very comfortable. We did not use the restaurant or bar or room service during our stay. We went up to have a swim in the pool - it was disappointing - there were no staff at all in the gym or the pool (which are adjacent) there seemed to be lockers but nobody to explain use of them - the changing area was very small and there were no private spaces to change. The pool anyway was cold - both us and another couple that were there at the time decided not to swim in the end! We would not recommend this hotel even though it is in quite a good position - sure there must be others e it th better overall service.

The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance to South Station, Boston Common, dining and entertainment. The staff was very responsive to my needs.

Wonderful experience in Boston. I highly recommend this hotel as it was by far my best Hyatt experience. The staff is so friendly and will give you the best advice on where to eat, shop, and where to explore all the sightseeing Boston has to offer.

love the location - its walking distance to almost all we wanted to see in Boston. our room was big compared to other city hotels.

This hotel is in a great location and makes an excellent base for exploring Boston. It’s conveniently close to downtown, Chinatown, and Boston Common, making it easy to explore many of the city’s main attractions on foot.

Hyatt Regency Boston is the best hotel in Boston. Easy access (walking) to Boston Commons, North End, Seaport and Newberry. I have stayed in this hotel many times over the last 9 years, and the entire staff is amazing including Willie.

This hotel stands out b/c they have outstanding Staff. From the front desk to the dining room to the concierge, I don't think they could have done any better. Next time I'm in Boston I'll be staying in the Hyatt Regency downtown.

Location is fantastic, and staff is super friendly. Was also pleasantly surprised by their complementary flavored still/sparkling water dispenser in the lobby. However, for the nightly rate (plus the $35 per night destination fee tacked on at the hotel), I expected there to not be peeling paint in the bathtub and for us not to be able to hear every whisper, movement, voice, etc. in the adjoining room next to ours. I checked the door to ensure it was shut on the other side, and it looked like the doors just don't seal well and have a gap underneath. Prefer more privacy. Rolled up a towel to help muffle it a little (they got up early and we stayed up late talking; I'm sure they weren't pleased with us as neighbors either) but could still hear their normal level of conversation. To be fair, we did not notify the front desk, so they didn't have an opportunity to offer another room (not sure that they would have, but we didn't give them the chance).

Thank you for an outstanding stay at the Hyatt in Boston from September 11–13, 2026. From check-in through departure, every aspect of the operation was flawless—efficient, attentive, and consistently professional. The team made the visit seamless and genuinely enjoyable. I would not hesitate to return or recommend the hotel.

Great location in the middle of where you want to be. Every time we come to town for a Red Sox, bruins, or Celtics game, we stay here. This was probably our 10th time visiting this hotel, and we will be back in 2 weeks. Great hotel!

Loved every single second we spent here ! I can’t explain how grateful we were with everything at this Hyatt. From the staff to the amenities to the overall ambiance.

Lots of false promises when checking in. Promised a 'free' selection of newspapers daily as part of the $35 destination charge. In reality, there was only the Wall Street Journal which if you were not in the lobby for 8.00 am you weren't getting one. 'free' cup of clam chowder daily at lunch. Waiter provided us a starter sized portion and charged it to the room so ended up not being 'free at all.. Was also charged for someone else's breakfast to our room. 10% off at Macy's through destination charge, Macy's had not heard of it, yet another part of the daily $35 destination charge that failed to materialise. Walls in room very thin and could hear guests in rooms either side very clearly talking, not the best if you're planning on a good nights sleep. All in all, not worth the money

Stayed here for a long weekend and had a great time. It's walking distance to most attractions and surrounded by good food/drink options. The room service food was the best I've ever had without exaggeration. I'll stay here again the next time in Boston for that reason alone.

This hotel was amazing. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms were spotless. And everything we could have needed was within walking distance. 10/10 would recommend.

Perfect city location. Walking distance to MBTA stations, Boston Common, the Public Garden, Cheers, and Boston's Old City Hall. Many options around to eat, drink, and shop. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Very well located hotel, check in was smooth and attention at all times was very good. Room service was better than many restaurants nearby
