My worst hyatt experience ever by far. Primitive, rude, dishonest, abusive staff tried to cancel a night and then tried to change my rate to pay almost double as I was recovering from an injury and w serious medical needs. Truly despicable.

Front desk staff need better training... there were 6 of them all behinf a single computer screen disregarding the amount of guest waiting to be checked in, and all of them avoided eye contact as they were fully aware of the situation..management did not do anything about.. they just walked by

I had an amazing dinner at the Terrence roof bartandler was great next day in the morning. The waitres at breakfast was very attending. It makes us feel very welcomed

Hotels feels really cheap, the bed is like if your at a comfort inn. Everything looks like they dont do innovation or control check of their things to often,

I had a great stay at the Hyatt Place Tegucigalpa. It's a modern hotel, centrally located downtown, that has a great restaurant + rooftop pool, bar and gym. The views from the roof provide a great vista for the entire city. A special thank you to Grecia, at the reception desk, for providing stellar customer service, throughout my entire stay.

Mrs. Milagro from the restaurant area EXCELLENT FOLLOW BY Samaria and Alejandrina and Mr. Neri amazing staff. Mrs. Maria the Morning chef she is awesome and super on Point making delicious eggs and plantains. Carolina good organization and the event chef awesome . From the bar area Omar prepared good drinks/mixologies. Housekeeping staff Ms. Edith and Leslie. Always attentive and very detailed. An Unforgettable Experience in Honduras! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ From the moment we walked in, the team here made our experience absolutely unforgettable. A huge shoutout to the incredible bartenders: Omar, Katherine, Jonathan, and Alexander. These four are not just bartenders; they’re the heart and soul of the place. They made sure we were always taken care of, offering up amazing cocktails while making great conversation. Not only were they attentive to our needs, but they also created such a warm, social atmosphere that we felt right at home. Plus, their music selection? Absolutely on point! It set the perfect vibe for the entire evening. This was my first trip to Honduras, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience, thanks to these legends behind the bar. They truly made it a memorable one. Also, a special mention to Boris and Hansel for their hospitality. They went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and taken care of. Their friendly and accommodating nature really elevated our time there. And last but definitely not least—Samaria, the best waitress! She was so attentive, always with a smile, and made us feel like VIPs throughout our entire visit. Her service was top-notch, and she added an extra layer of warmth to an already amazing experience.

I booked a night at the Hyatt for my wife’s birthday, and let me just say – I expected a nice stay… but what we got? Next level. We kicked things off with an epic rooftop pool night. There was a DJ spinning tracks that somehow made me believe I could dance (and yes, I did… all night). My wife and I twirled under the stars like teenagers with no bedtime, and it was perfect. Katherine was the MVP of the night – checking on us, making sure we had drinks in hand, and keeping the good energy flowing like she was part party host, part fairy godmother. Then came the morning. Most people dread waking up early after a night out, but Hyatt’s breakfast made it worth every yawn. Their buffet runs from 6 to 10 AM, and let me tell you – it’s a Honduran dream. Fresh baleadas, traditional favorites, and the kind of coffee that brings your soul back to life. I would’ve written this review just for the breakfast, honestly. To top it off, Alexander helped us reserve a poolside table for a family lunch. He went above and beyond to make sure everything was just right – thoughtful setup, great service, and a calm, friendly vibe that made us feel taken care of without being fussed over. The man’s a hospitality ninja. From beginning to end, the Hyatt team showed up with heart, professionalism, and a whole lot of joy. Everyone went the extra mile – and then added some bonus steps just to make it special. This was my first Hyatt stay, but definitely not my last. They've officially earned a fan for life (and possibly a few dance moves named after them).

Fantastic food, room was spacious, shower was modern with nice hot shower, credit to the staff on reception who assisted me with multiple printouts for my meeting. This is a popular hotel for the international business traveller with perfect ambiance and a roof top pool

This hotel is average and pretty bland, but still relatively expensive. I cannot fault anything, everything is just average. It was really just a convenient location for what I needed to do in the city.

Good services, nice pool and views from the Top Floor. Good gym. Many good restaurants, barbershop, stores, etc, on walking distances from the hotel.

Great hotel in a safe and nice location. Breakfast and facilities are perfect and is great for a business trip. I strongly recommend the hotel.

Beside paying for the room, the hotel charges extra for each person staying. The VIP service is overpriced. The happy hours only covers one hour (ask what is cover before paying) The parking lot area is very small and driving a large vehicle you have to double park.

I always book through world of Hyatt, and arrived in Tegucigalpa on a somewhat stressful trip, however from the moment I arrived at the lobby, the vibes in the hotel starting from the greeting and upgrade by Ricardo and service on the roof top bar by Katherine. Made everything better and I had a super successful stay and certainly made better by the top staff

Be sure to inquire when you check in if the hotel has leased the rooftop out for a private party with a DJ playing super loud music, so loud that it will infiltrate your room and interfere with getting a decent night's sleep.

The Hyatt Place offers a competitive alternative to the fancier Intercontinental. The hotel is well appointed and offers satisfactory service. Some minor improvements would make it even better. Check-in/out process is slow and cumbersome for instance. General noisiness has been high during my last two stays which bothered me. The previous time as a teenage basketball team of 100 people was staying there (absolutely impossible to have a good night’s sleep) and this time due to the elevator and ice machine being close to the room. The hotel seemed to have ample availability but I was still given a bad room. These things could be easily improved with better trained staff.

Hyatt Place Tegucigalpa follows the Hyatt standard: great quality in all aspects. Amazing staff: proactive, supportive, educated and friendly. Breakfast was perfect. Food quality, flexibility, and always with a sincere smile.

This is my second time staying that this specific hotel due to its excellent location, clean rooms, friendly - helpful bilingual staff, good security and tasteful breakfast. I will stay there again in any future trips to Tegucigalpa.

Good location,excellent breakfast,rooms with a strong sewer smell,Toilet was leaking.I reported this issues and they offer me to change the room 2 days later…I couldn’t use the pool because it was green and cloudy…
