The location is close to the hospital, but not within walking distance. The hotel is clean but the meals in the restaurant are ho-hum. The TV in our room didn't work as there was no wifi connection. If you want a medical stay discount, you must connect to the hotel personally before you stay. Making a note on Trip Advisor or Expedia does not provide a discounted rate.

Nice new modern hotel, staff very friendly and helpful.Rooms nice and spacious only issues were the mattress was extremely soft and uncomfortable.Better selection of firmness was not available. Shower walls had hairs from the previous guests,toilet height is a bit small in the height, main room cabinets underneath was dusty and not cleaned properly. Main exterior window had smudge marks. Location of hotel is close to skid row with drug addicts sitting around close to the hotel. Not ideal to walk around during the day or the evening.

we were at another hotel and we moved 3 times before we finally left and I was so happy we were able to get a room and not have to move. Our granddaughter was happy to be able to relax and sleep on the pull out bed and make a tent.

The Hyatt Prince George met all my expectation to room setup, continental breakfast, overall cleanliness and friendly and efficient staff!

Very convenient. Parking around the building are free. Room clean and spectacular. Bathroom was clean. Staff was helpful and Breakfast included with lots of options

This clean and friendly hotel offers most of the amenities you’re looking for. It’s close to several restaurants and the downtown civic centre, plus a brand-new aquatic centre just across the street.

Downtown hotel a 7 minute walk from the train station. Helpful staff at front desk and in the restaurant, especially Ocksana our server. Larger than average room with excellent beds. Very clean and quiet. Slightly more expensive than some other options, but well worth it.

Wonderful place with friendly staff and great food. There was a full buffet breakfast, good food in the lounge, and a great happy hour. My room was huge and veery clean🙂.

The friendlyests place to stay downtown Prince George. We stayed in this hotel for a girls trip to celebrate my moms birthday. The staff were accommodating and responsive, and always friendly. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the beds are so cosy. The breakfast is hot and has lots of veriety.

Super clean, modern, and new hotel with a very comfortable atmosphere. The staff were friendly and welcoming throughout my stay. The breakfast was wonderful with a good variety and fresh options. The location is also very convenient, making it easy to get around Prince George.

we enjoyed our stay at the Hyatt , a nice hotel and everything is kept up, just didn't enjoy all the snow outside in Prince George , but I know its spring and can be expected !

I frequently travel up to Prince George for work, and as a result, I've "shopped around" a fair bit when it comes to hotels in the city. Without a doubt, Hyatt Place is the clear winner for me for the sole reason that it feels like sleeping on a cloud. I get it, soft/plush beds aren't for everyone, but I truly sleep better at this hotel than I do at home. I've even tried to buy their mattress for myself, but alas ... The staff here are super friendly, professional, and polite, and always have a smile on their face when they see me return; that they remember me at all demonstrates how much they actually care about their guests. A free breakfast in this economy also helps a ton, and they've made significant improvements to their food offerings in the morning, which is a huge plus. And for the price, you really can't go wrong. Now to be balanced, the parking lot sure does fill up quickly with massive trucks, so it can be a bit squishy to navigate, especially on a weekend. And unless you sleep with the fan on (like I do) you may hear a lot of doors opening and slamming loudly in the hallway throughout your stay (earplugs do help!) But aside from that, it's hard to find any significant negatives; the bed alone will make you forget all about that stuff anyway, I'm sure!

Great experience as staff was very accomadating for our anniversary. Made us feel very special. Hotel very clean with comfortable bed and linens. Location walking distance to the keg which was very handy for us.

Love having a couch to sit on instead of just the bed just, need to clear off parking lot of snow. Breakfast is good with different selection room for improvement 😋 more to selections for the price of the room.

This is our go to hotel for Prince George. We have been going here for the last 5-6 years 1-2 times a year and have stayed at this hotel. It is amazing. Clean and friendly. Unfortunately I needed to take a star away as this last time we stayed Nov. 2025 they just were not the same. The staff was super friendly and nice but…… the hygiene of some was not that welcoming. When you would ride the elevator especially in the morning hours it was filled with the aroma of BO. It was so bad at times that the smell would linger in the halls and elevator long after they left. They would often help us in the past when we would ask if we could have a dry breakfast set up early in the morning as we would have an early morning sporting event game on one of the days we were there and they would be happy to accommodate our request but not this time at all. This is not so bad but for the breakfast the only offer waffles every day of the weekend instead of rotating between the waffles and french toast like they do on the weekdays. We asked they said no they would not bring out any of the French toast on the weekends. Also the scrambled eggs are floating in water Over all we do love this hotel but it seems to be a bit on the down cline.
