Convenient but not great.
The location was perfect for my needs, being close to my cousin's condo. The bed was comfortable...that's the first time I've had a duvet that wasn't entirely too warm. The room was quiet, with minimal noise from neighbors. But there were countless small annoyances. The AC is quite loud and cycles every 2 minutes. The fridge froze my water bottle. There was only decaf for the in-room coffee maker. Worst was that the deadbolt deployed at random as I went in or out of the room, blocking the door from closing. So when I went down to breakfast, my room was unlocked. I had some bonding moments with other guests who said theirs did the same. This is a safety issue! And how in the world are they offering coffee drinks like lattes and cappuccinos if they don't have a milk steamer? I wanted some steamed oat milk for the matcha I brought with me, and they couldn't do it.

However, we are deeply concerned to hear about the issue with your room's deadbolt. Guest safety is our absolute highest priority. Our maintenance team is immediately inspecting and repairing the door locks to ensure this does not happen again. We also appreciate you bringing the loud air conditioning unit, the overly cold refrigerator, and the in-room coffee options to our attention so we can adjust them. Regarding our beverage service, we apologize for the confusion and the disappointment regarding the milk steamer; we are reviewing how we communicate our menu offerings to ensure accuracy.
Great hotel for the price. Breakfast is good.
Great hotel for visiting DC. Train station is right next to hotel. Staff here is very responsive. The only complaint I have is the parking fee. I feel as a guest the parking should be free and if I am going to pay for it the parking lot should be easy to navigate. It is very small and packed. Cant get everything you want though. Very nice hotel for the price.

Close to Georgetown
Great place in a somewhat suburban setting yet close to Georgetown. Beautiful hotel with breakfast and easy street parking.

Disappointing Stay
A few positive things I will share are that the location is nice, the staff is friendly, and the rooms are spacious. I arrived slightly early and they were able to get me into my room, which I appreciated. However, contrary to all of the reviews I read before landing on this hotel, the bed was a huge letdown. The texture of the sheets was very uncomfortable, flat, and not at all soft. Same goes for the pillows. They would flatten out immediately, and adding two didn't make things any better. It was nearly impossible to get comfortable. In addition to this, there were strands of brown hair all over my bed which made me feel like the room was not properly cleaned before my arrival. Outside of the bed, I also want to note that the walls were paper thin...so I could hear every door opening like they were coming right into my room. Unfortunately, for all of these reasons, I would not be able to stay here again, despite the hotel itself seeming nice overall.

However, we deeply apologize that the comfort of our bedding, thin walls, and especially the cleanliness issues with the sheets fell short of our standards. Warm and welcoming
The whole atmosphere of the hotel was quiet, clean, and welcoming. Both front desk clerks were very friendly and helpful to both my husband and I. The hotel was located in an area that had things to do during the day and at night.

Wonderful experience
Always enjoy my stays over the last seven years. This Hyatt Place is in an excellent location, close to the metro, very good eating establishments, and in a nice neighborhood.

Great hotel area
Great location, a block away from metro and restaurants near by. The hotel was clean, easy to check in and check out. I would stay there again.

Highly recommend this hotel. The staff are so very friendly! The breakfast was so good with real bacon and scrambled eggs. Love the tortillas and selection of fresh fruit. You can’t beat this location for convenience to the Metro, restaurants, and groceries (Whole Foods and TJs). Loved the big windows in the room and having a king bed and sofa pull out was ideal for couple with a grown kid. The elevators can be slow if u are on high floor and the air conditioner cannot be reduced below 67 degrees.

Well, it did the job!
The location was well suited for a family with a very short walk to the metro. The breakfast was varied and people were very kind with the children. We were street facing on the 2nd floor and heard nothing. Quiet! The room was clean and the staff personable. The state of the hotel left something to be desired. I kept having to move the toddler away from picking at the holes in the decor. The button to the elevator was covered in duct tape and the caulking around the sink was moldy/missing. The garage looked half demolished from cars running into the walls, it's so tight and one car lane only. Beware bringing your truck or SUV for $35 a night. We had to change some of our plans to try to avoid leaving unless we absolutely had to.

Great stay for family vacation!
Nice location within walking distance to the subway to any museum. Staff are really friendly and supportive. Check-in and check-out are super easy with the Hyatt app. Breakfast is nice with scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, French toast sticks, bagels, fruits, milk, tea etc. Great for a family vacation.

Nice play
Clean and modern hotel with friendly staff. Good location close to DC attractions and many restaurants within walking distance. Only thing that can be improved is a laundry facility.

A week in DC
Location is nice. Breakfast was amazing. Good selection. Staff were ALL amazing. Very nice and clean. This was a really nice property.

No Room Serivice and Manager not on site to help
I stayed for 3 nights. Our intention was to only need room service for 1 night. I noticed from the day before and even on day of that room service seemed to start around 8AM, which is a little early, I had a sign out as i didn't want our room disturbed until we left after 10AM. As such I made a specific request with the front desk to get my room serviced, and our room was not serviced.

Great location: it is only 2 blocks from the nearest metro station, and there are many options for eating pretty close. The breakfast is good, the room was clean and comfortable, and the staff are very kind.

A good hotel if you're not parking a car
The hotel staff are extremely friendly, and the hotel is in really good shape, and it's in a great location near the metro and wonderful coffee shops (three within a three minute walk!). But if you're renting a car during a busy period - BEWARE. The parking garage is TINY and TIGHT. We rented a Chevy Equinox which is a small family SUV and we had to do multi-point turns to navigate the garage and avoid scraping the sides of the car. The water pressure was pretty terrible and the bed wasn't very comfortable, but it was in okay shape. The room was really spacious and clean and the mini fridge was great.

Great stay
The hotel is close to DC without being in all the congestion. The rooms where clean and will maintained. The price was reasonable for the closeness to DC

Nice Hotel
Very nice experience. Hotel/room was clean. Staff was friendly. The included breakfast was perfect to start the day. No complaints. Will stay here again.

Business Trip
Breakfast is very good, not custom breakfast but all the bases are covered. The staff serving breakfast is really friendly and helpful. Even with a giant crowed of teenagers they did great by dedicating a separate room for them to sit in and cordoning off the food line. This hotel is very convenient to the Metro and many great restaurants.

Great Location and Clean
The room was clean and the breakfast included with the room was very good. The front desk was very helpful and checked me in quickly. It is also located near two metro stop and only a 15 minute uber ride from Regan airport. I would highly recommend this hotel.
